Its also a little pointless- like the advice of reinforcing all 4 walls in garage is not useful in Bronze/Copper because players with such low ranks don't even know/bother trying for the garage walls. May as well reinforce the single in cash because that might be some place a Bronze/Copper might actually push from.
This is the first time I'm seeing a video on this channel and I must say I'm very impressed by how he helps them grow. I'm a gold/low plat and some of the copper advices are useful to me as well lmao
100 percent. I remember even being gold on console and i used to play secure area on garage. No one opens anything. They always pushed the doors. Everyone on our team was hidden up behind rafters and the enemy team never even tried opening the wall next to rafters. Now that I’ve hit diamond I’m like “damn if I had opened that wall it would’ve been so much easier to kill them”
Yeah thats something i realized when i came back to this game last year i watched youtubers videos like this and quickly realized that most of it is just for high elo plays
@@alvarovanbrackel2684 If you don't belong to bronze or silver you'll get out, I get people leaving and throwing matches since I have been there, but if you are a gold (or you think you should be gold) in bronze just because you get frags there's something you are doing wrong, take into account that this is a team and utility based game, not cod, so there are many reasons why you wouldn't get out of silver or bronze

Maybe on a default set-up but if they take garage they can cutoff all of the site...and get a plant off with no effort... Just open the wall hold red have 2 on catwalk one holding the cash rotate and the other holding cash door from the line of sight they made... It's literally a free take especially if the attack team has numbers and is coordinated
I looked at it and thought the same too. Couple modifications and that would be useful for holding the CCTV/Cash site, and an extension on a Gym/Bedroom hold
My only problem is that if their is a player in CON you would have to worry about 2 completely different angles. If it was further back it could be goaty
@@mikebell117 there usually is someone playing near con tho so this shouldn't really be an issue until late in the round, when they should have already rotated back to site (or nearer to site)
I feel like gold players abandon strategy a little more because usually those are the players that have better aim and stuff while the lower ranks rely on strategies

i'm listening to the copper guy with all these really good strats, and i'm wondering how on earth i wasn't copper without using any strats or callouts at all, but maybe console is different and not as tactical.
pc you get shut down if you move a pixel to fast or slow even just at plat youll get dropped if you make a single mistake whilst for console youre able to get away with alot more

As a hard stuck EU plat player, I love that guy and how he represents us so well. We know most of the ins and outs of the game but we can learn more, we have pretty good aim but we can improve, we're pretty smart but we can get even smarter. The difference between plat and diamond is honestly whether you care enough to take the effort to improve on the things I mentioned. For me personally, siege got boring and whenever I'm done with placements, I play valorant instead 😅

Down side to game you can have great calls but if you can't aim you lose cause I'm gold on console and almost gold on pc or was haven't played in over a year but my aim sucks and had better call outs and awareness them most of my team which is sad
Aim. I have good callouts, solid site setup and strats, but I lose gunfights constantly. For that reason I can’t break gold. So hopefully I can improve my aim at some point.
when i played i was around silver/gold, havent watched the video but I usually set up CC/Cash as follows: Reinforce two walls top red, put rotate on the right wall (closest to the top of the stairs), reinforce the two walls on construction, shotgun a hole in the wall between sites at the top for a line of sight into rafters window from the top of the bomb desk or whatever it is in the centre of cash, then i reinforce CC wall (obv), as well as the wall between construction and outside. depending if im roaming or not i might also add a rotate between logistics and contruction, only if i plan to contest master, in which case ill also add a rotate into gym, as well as from the bathroom to the hallway and reinforce hot tub too if necessary. Now ima watch the video and find out what i got right Edit: aight i did relatively well ig, missed G1 & G2 and reinforced Construction wall and a couple others, ig i fit pretty well down here in high silver/low gold id care if i still played siege tho lmao, shame its dead XD
I feel like if you're an actually good player you don't rely that heavily on meta setups and instead catch the enemy off-guard by not being predictable
Another reason why he could be putting holes in the wall before the reinforcements at 24:14 is that sound for some reason passes through a wall easier if it has holes even if the holes are covered up, same goes for glass over windows

Tip for guys like me, playing only in quick play and not being a natural english speaker : Everyone has a compass. Use it ! There is time when some people are a bit confused by this, the majority of them are players with a lot of time in the game, but most of people get it immediately or quite quickly.
Late comment but I have a massive issue with the Gold's setup as probably many people here in the comments do. In my opinion, both rafters walls being reinforced would just make the round be incredibly attacker sided. This is because the guy's idea is to just cede garage and rafters and force the attackers to push through the window. I can see where he is coming from, however, more often than not, no reasonably logical person would fall for that unless they absolutely had to. The only way that I can see a strat with both rafters walls being reinforced working is if the attackers just choose not to breach flat/CCTV wall, which they would more often than not do, or if the defenders defend Construction fiercer than the Soviets defending Stalingrad. If both of those rafters walls are reinforced and the CCTV breach is open, the defenders essentially lost the round. The people who the defenders would cede rafters to wouldn't even bother going through the rafters window, instead they would focus all of their resources and utility for a rotate to do a Construction and CCTV window take with a hard breacher with an Acog or 2x on flat watching Red hall. By reinforcing that wall, you can't really contest the CCTV breach since the person red stairs has to watch two separate angles at once since the person or people on Green Island and Cubby would get bombarded by flashes, frag grenades, zofia stuns, etc. This would allow for the hard breacher to peek red, kill the person top red and allow for an easy push into Cash room to get a plant down and to pick off the roamers attempting to come back to sight, which would also potentially be funneled into the window with the right rafters wall being reinforced. It is preferred as a defender to have more ways to contest a rafters take from the relative safety of Cash room than give them rafters and force the attackers to push Construction when you have no crossfire, which is really a Construction attack's only weakness.
Yea I've played against and with diamond and Champs and we don't even waste reinforcements on the bottom garage, we reinforcement all of contructions so they only have 2 ways to come from in there and make a rotate on the left side of the garage wall from in site and reinforce the right wall so Jager can hold garage from the corner without having to worry about people from window and make the same rotates and shit in cash
This is a great video idea. Not only because of the skill comparison, but its also very informative for the viewers, I for example learned something new and can definitely use this knowledge for myself. Great vid.
The best part about playing Casual is no one cares when you reinforce the rotate between cash room and red stairs. Most roamers in Casual are... well... they aren't the best in the world and they tend to either die early because they think spawn peaking is all there is to roaming or on rare occasions take out 3 of the enemies and it becomes a 5v2 and they no longer need the quick rotate. As someone that anchors, that rotate is a nightmare in Casual because no one ever covers it (or uses it except on rare 1v1 the attackers have planted occasions) so you have to cover it while covering the construction door, highway window, the breachable walls, and the garage window because your team are incompetent and die peaking them or sit in a corner with or on whatever gadget their operator specialises in but that's solo queuing into casual for ya. It's not terrible though, still quite fun as the enemy team is just as incompetent.
I myself am a Gold, I'm surprised people didn't know about swiss cheesing, the fact that Garfield pointed it out must mean that most players don't do it or know what that was.
I’ve been plat twice and never used a strat or decent call-outs. I’ve always just played the game for fun with my mates. Maybe my ranks have been flukes, but I find trying to make a perfect site setup isn’t fun.
Personally, having a gameplan that ends up working out is way more satisfying than just running and gunning my way through games. It’s silly, but I guess it makes me feel like I won the game the “right way”.

It’s always reinforced. You want to have the 4 garage walls reinforced to help the garage player and they have to use utility to get it. If kaid isn’t banned, I definitely recommend running him and using his gadget on the garage walls and holding garage!
My experience in silver and gold is that just everything gets reinforced and then a castle comes along and traps everyone in the room. Gets better in plat, but not really

The plat setup was good besides I don't get the rotate into construction if they are leaving cash half reinforced to pick up people from bedroom door. If I saw that open I'd just attack through that rotate instead of pushing bedroom door.
And if the whole team just go through the rotate they all stack on the left side then it eliminates 2 angles and the person top red can watch it from the head holes

I feel like that shield contesting breach in the first breakdown could honestly be kinda strong if you put ADS' on the cash wall where the tables are

I have a question for this site, why do g1 and g2 walls reinforced? Like is for a angle or they walk-in, I’m not sure.
It helps protect the person playing garage on the upper rafters
It’s always reinforced. You want to have the 4 garage walls reinforced to help the garage player and they have to use utility to get it. If kaid isn’t banned, I definitely recommend running him and using his gadget on the garage walls and holding garage!

My experience in silver and gold is that just everything gets reinforced and then a castle comes along and traps everyone in the room. Gets better in plat, but not really

The plat setup was good besides I don't get the rotate into construction if they are leaving cash half reinforced to pick up people from bedroom door. If I saw that open I'd just attack through that rotate instead of pushing bedroom door.
To answer this my team do this because we have someone playing around master/logi and this allows them to rotate back to site easily
And if the whole team just go through the rotate they all stack on the left side then it eliminates 2 angles and the person top red can watch it from the head holes
