What a lovely stiry read beautifully bu Lisa Goddard. Very comforting to know that the author knows exactly how it feels to be a widow, rather elderly, in detail, right down to the glass of sherry!

Lovely collection of stories, thanks for the upload, but I found the title misleading. I didn’t experience them as romantic at all! They were all about people who were lonely, deceived and or abandoned, who’s hearts had been damaged and something had been lost. And only at the very end found something that seemed hopeful. The stories afterwards would have perhaps been the romantic ones. Maybe my interpretation has something to do with my own emotional state right now. And what’s up with the music?!?
It's about love, the love that she had when she had a family alive and young, giving her memories that she had forgotten, not all love means 2 people it can be objects and animals, give the rest a chance you may be surprised 🤨
You and I are two different people, with different expriences, moulded by different cultures if your name is anything to go by, so you can expect that our understanding of life will be different, and we may even have different concepts of what "love" is - but if your partner of many years dies, what do you feel the next day? Is it love or nostalgia? How about a year later? I lost my wife 20 years ago, and the hurt is no less now than the day she walked out of the door. The line that divides love from a whole raft of other emotions is a fine one, and in this case, the woman is feeling strong emotions for times gone by. She still loves her son, who started with Annie (the piano), showed remrakable talent, and is now an international concert pianist. Clearly, many years have passed by - and she has just unearthed a piece of Annie, and it has brought back the emotions of a lifetime. I thought the piece was beautifully written, and for me, it was very emotional - but probably because it twanged cords in my own life that do not exist in your life.
@@DownhillAllTheWay It was beautiful and poetic. And the sound design made it even better. If how you feel is like the protagonist of 'Family Sonata', I got to feel that too through the story.😭

@@chellebrown6677 thanx! It worked for me! 😁
the first one is not a love story
The title says on 'love and life'...
First story is good but not romance, as the title says. False advertising. Won't listening to the rest.
