Hyperx cloud stinger core is better I had them for 2 years and I had the recon for 2 months and it already broke
I got the recon 70 for my birthday 2 days ago and it is good quality and I haven't had any problems.
My brother has had one for 3 months and he likes it aswell
Fiery 963 Turtle beach recon 70 sucks. My iPhone earbuds are much louder than the turtle beach recon 70. There’s no volume to this headset.

I've never had any problem with turtle beach. I take care of my headset and ive never had them broken unlike other brands I've gotten. And there designs are really good and I like there quality for hearing and sound.
The Hyper is bad don’t buy 😂😂TB just needs better Earlobes holes and better sponge and mic flexibility that’s all and It’ll win over most mics at its price range👊But it’s still great I would go with TB
My Turtle Beach mic stopped working a few months ago so they can break but likely a result of me lying down with them on lmao

The hyperx are way more comfortable... I had the recons and they would hurt my ears after a long period of time
FTD 34 I had the 50s and it was one of the cons I had with the headset. It was to the point where I had to take breaks sometimes cause my head would start hurting, but everything else was great for me.

Yeah for me they got uncomfortable after a few hours (2-3) and I personally had to take it off or at least lift it to take some pressure off the top of my head, but after about 5-15 minutes I could got for another 2-3 hours, this is all for the recon 70’s of course
hyperx no doubt way better, i had three different turtle beach headsets including this, and the hyperx is super comfortable

Id take the turtle beach because of the better sound in my opinion, I’ve tried both, i like the turtle beach’s better.
the hyper x was one sale for 25 today so even cheaper then the video and i bought them and i cant wait for them to arrive

The sound quality is outstanding for such a low price even at very high volume
My Xbox pals say they have no complaints compared to my other headsets Mic that broke (it was around 60 or so dollars)
The build quality seems to be cheap but it's very sturdy to my surprise
If you can still get it for 25 on amazing get it you won't regret it

Id take sound quality over comfort any day, even though i have no issues with my recon 70’s being uncomfortable. Maybe they just fit my head better idk.

The Recon 70's were made to compete with the Cloud Stinger, not the Stinger Core. The Core's got discontinued in the u.s., I thought (unless you order them online).
Either way, the Stinger headset is, by far, the better of the 2. Can't say about the Stinger Core .

My old £150 steelseries headphones died on me a couple of weeks ago so picked up the recon 70s for £30 in tesco (a major UK supermarket) while I was doing food shopping. And I gotta say I'm not disappointed. For the price they are pretty solid performers.

I really want to know because a lot of people are saying that it breaks really easily but other people say it workss perfectly fine.

The Astro a10 gives you headaches
I've had both of these before. First I had the hyperx, after two weeks the mic stopped working, and just a week later the left ear cup stopped working. Got the recon 70 about three months ago and it's better by far in my opinion. The sound is much clearer and I can hear enemy footsteps much better, and the mic is great. Yeah the hyperx was slightly more comfortable, but I just find the recon 70's durability, flexibility, sound, and mic quality to be much better. Additionally, having only one cord from the controller to the headset is a lot more convenient and the cord feels much sturdier (I got the PS4 blue & white edition, sexy as hell)

Ryon B. Thats weird i had the hyper x cloud stinger it lasted for a year. The sound was amazing and incredibly comfortable. My dog chewed the wire.

Currently having an issue with the Stinger Cores. It’s when I mute my mic and I have the volume up pretty loud to hear footsteps in my game but the Sound from the game starts playing through game chat even though my mic is muted.
What does that even mean, what you said made no sense elaborate more on the problem for better clarification

It depends, the video I just made on razer barracuda x only work with Xbox with 3.5 mm cable, not the USB adapter unfortunately.

If your gonna get a head set from around this price range get the plantronics rig 400 they are light have a soft head band soft ear cups and have good sound quality with a decent mic

I got the recon 200s which is the one up from the 70s. They were absolute trash and I’ve sent them back. Got the hyper x ordered now and I’m looking forward to receiving them.

Harley Moody , My ears started to get hot after just 15mins. It requires charging to work but it is also wired and the mic didn’t pick up my voice when speaking normally.

Trust me I have tried a couple turtle beach headsets and let me tell u they are not good. I would *ALWAYS* recommend hyper headsets (I have the cloud cores). Also if u get hyper headsets get the pc version for the headsets since they come with an extension cord.

Hanno van Niekerk I honestly recommend the Hyper X for comfortability, especially for people who have big ears. Because while I had the the Turtle Beach, my ears would start to hurt less then 5 minutes wearing them. And the padding the Hyper X includes makes your gaming experience more comfortable. The sound quality to me is the same. If you one was better than the other, it’d be very hard to notice. So I honestly recommend the Hyper X.

It's hard to say what sound quality yall like if it's bass then hyper x but for me I can't use bass headphones I play battle royal and to hear footsteps u can't have very Bessy headphones .recon 70 works

Hyper x is way better. My turtle beach was good at the start but it broke later on. Turtle beaches aren’t so good and break easily. Like technical breaking, not like snapping in half or something

I have a cloud stinger core for me it us great, I love it, when it dies I will buy a more premium headset.
Recon 70 is designed for kids heads i.e small. It will hurt your head and pressure the ears.
I tried the following
1) stealth 600 gen 2
2) stealth 700 gen 2
3) recon 70
Finally I settled on the arctis 3 and i would never go back to anything else. I hope this helps someone (:

at my local supertarget they had a thing to feel the headphones and it had both of those exact headphones. i was gonna get the hyper x but i found the turtle beach recon 500 and thought it was cool so i got that instead of a hyper x. they also both fit my head perfectly

That's a close one. I'd probably go Astro A10 because they fit my ears better. You may want to also consider the hyperx cloud stinger or PDP LVL 50.
FishBee Productions Thanks for answering. Personally I really like the design of Astro a10, but where I live is very hot and I do not know how hot the fabric that covers the speakers can be. That is why I have thought about buying the Turtle Beach Racon 70s, because I see that the material of your speakers could be less hot for me. I do not know what to do ...😪 I need some headsets

I like the turtle Beach because when I put the mic up I like that put my ears hurt after a while, the second headset i like the how they don’t hurt my ears after a while and I made my Choice I’m going to choose the turtle beach 700 I know that my ears will hurt but hey at least my mic will be muted
