Working as a translator or interpreter: ask the experts!

This is the first of a series of webinars supported by the government-funded, national programme Routes into Languages.
This session is about careers for linguists and is aimed at students, teachers, trainers with an interest in translation and interpreting for the private and public sectors.

I'm struggling to get into the translation and interpreting industry, and it's frustrating because communicating with people is my passion, and I've had to settle for a normal full-time job. The ICSC work sounds really interesting. Is there a way to figure out what language one could master specifically to work for ICSC that would be in high demand?
