A CRM typically holds anything related to a client, hence the name: Customer Relationship Management system. A BPM system is used to manage business processes (Business Process Management system).
BPMS: a system that allows for designing business processes, but also the execution of these processes. Hence, it entirely depends on your requirement to decide whether you would like to go for Pega BPM or Salesforce CRM as they both have difference usage & application.
