Love trying to play Quo songs. Just great watching them and seeing how relaxed they are on stage...just walking round so casually yet playing so perfect. They make it look so easy yet I know from trying to play these songs how talented they are...real inspiration.

Next time someone says they just play 3 chords (which of course they do often as many other artists do)...just hand them a guitar and get them to play Hold Ya Back...just the intro alone requires so much skill, timing and accuracy. I am an old man like this guy from Neil Young's song. In the seventies last century, (how terrible it sounds) I was blinded by Prog Rock and all these bombastic music. 35 years later these guys having fun on the stage and giving the same to us prove again how wrong I was. At this time BT was managed by a truly decent man ( Ben Verwain). He was shocked to find the company did not honour long serving staff so arranged this as a family day for all those with 30 years service to say thank you. My wife told me the son of one of her colleagues met Rick and he took the time to chat and play guitar with him. She said the young chap was grinning and floating on air for the rest of the day. Later managements did not live up to the high standard, but briefly the company was governed by a great leader.
Raymond, I left BT in April 2004 after 29 years service and missed this event. None of my colleagues told me the Quo played at Alton Towers - it happened just after I left. This might have made me stay. I loved the Quo from my early teens e even earning the nickname Status from my mates. I went to see them live several times and was never disappointed.
Funny to see all that umbrella's, Quo perform wonderfull there, great gig, Rick Parfitt did a great job, the king of Quo to me, Frantic Four Forever !!
From 2002 to 2005 status quo was extrem rockin, they kicked good and strong Gigs, always were friendly gentleman onstage or private, saw them 2012 vs the opener Caroline... rick was beating the shit out of his telecasters, rossis soloing were superb. Rhino, Andy and matt layed down an great rythm faundation.... im happy i saw them live

From 2002 to 2005 status quo was extrem rockin, they kicked good and strong Gigs, always were friendly gentleman onstage or private, saw them 2012 vs the opener Caroline... rick was beating the shit out of his telecasters, rossis soloing were superb. Rhino, Andy and matt layed down an great rythm faundation.... im happy i saw them live
