    Tried rotisserie picanha once awhile ago and it was okay. Gonna have to try it again after watching this and reading the instructions.

    Thanks for doing a cook with the BGE rotisserie. I've been thinking about all the ways to use it since I first saw it. Another gotta have EGGccessory. The Picanha was to drool over and glad to know what it is. Never have seen that meat cut around here (NM), but I'm going to be looking for it.

    How long did each rotation take roughly? By rotation I mean amount of time to get outside browned. Great idea thanks

      It does not take long. The whole cook was not even 1/2 hour if memory serves me correctly

    This looks Amazing! Question - My wife has Meniere's Disease and is on a salt restricted diet. It looked like you were using a really corse salt on the meat. Is there another spice or combination of spices that could substitute for the salt? We've used Kirklands spice or Tony Ceshere's with good results. Thanks for the video! 👍🏻

      Absolutely Wade! This is a somewhat traditional picanha but you can season it any way you would like! There are plenty of good "no salt" seasonings available.

    Yes I was as excited like you !Next day when I removed the ring the problem was not funny
    Half the joint came off it was stuck to the ring .
    By egg is almost new,only 3months ,I’m afraid to use it again!

You remind of being at a Brazilian restaurant the coin is always green lol and of course the first ingredient in any cook is the Charcoal Fogo or No Go brother best Charcoal on the market love that super premium lump its the best all i use that rotisserie is absolutely amazing brother need to get an xl so i can get one.

      I am not sure to be honest. I wouldn't leave it out in the elements. It literally takes 2 seconds to slide it off of the bracket.

    Does the Rotisserie come in different sizes such as for the Large BGE, XL etc.??? Also, what is the best FoGo to use, then Tan Bag or the Black Bag??

      Yes sir, it sure does Joe. I used black bag for this, I find it works best. That being said, you could certainly use either one.

    Good morning Captain! Such an awesome video, and piece of equipment! I love how it's wedge shaped, and sits perfectly. My go-to Brazilian Steakhouse is Churrascaria Plataforma on W49th in Little Brazil, and this looks better! I'd love to see your chimichurri recipe, that's my favorite. The tang and heat go perfect with the fat cap! Next up for this? How about citrus stuffed game hens... Line em up and let them spin!

    You should try doing a gyros on it - even better than Picanha - I've done 1.5kg of lamb and 1.5kg of chicken on the same cook - bloody awesome !!

    What happened to the BGE Rotisserie? It seems to have disappeared from everywhere? Did they discontinue it already? This is an accessory I have been hoping for a long time from BGE.

      There were some issues that arose and had to be ironed out. Be patient, it's on its way for a new release

    DAMN BGE 6 months too late, I got the Kamado Joe version and love it. IF you can promise to make the rotisserie basket as functional (flat and "round") as the new one from KJ, I will wait, but at $200, I won't be waiting long
