I worked on this show as a Vault Raider. What a great time. Working with Ella,Leslie and a few of the other cast was awesome.

Walton goggins seems like a true gentleman and he absolutely KILLED his role as the ghoul. Stole every scene and can’t wait for future seasons

Seeing him in the Hateful Eight, justified and Vice principals really shows his range. If you never saw Vice Principals you should see it right away.
Yeah he is my fav for sure! But the entire cast was great.
😂 I can’t decide if his character just had the strongest writing on-top of him being a phenomenal actor or what. Cause I found that basically everyone else felt like they had a much weaker influence on how much I enjoyed the show when compared to the ghoul(Aka Walton.)
Walton knew he was in a funky western and he was reveling in it.

It's not their job to care about the games but they did and that's what makes this show so amazing. The whole crew, especially the writers have respect to the source material

@@teejm1ck78 Idk, I think he's a bit too old for it by now - or maybe that Percy Jackson makeup wasn't doing him any favours. If Jake Gyllenhaal wanted it, I'd give it to him, but more realistically, an Aaron Paul or Glen Powell would be great.

I saw her for the first time years ago on Movie fights by the screen junkies channel. She is fantastic. Smart and extremely well spoken

Walton fundamentally understanding why his son loves gameing (the story moments offset with gameplay) might seem simple, but its evident of good parenting, he was incredible in the show and he seems like an incredible person as well

Walton Goggins is so well spoken - he absolutely killed it. I was always a fan of his work and thought he was EXTREMELY underrated. I hope this pulls him into more work that we can see.
Aaron Moten deserves more love. He absolutely kills it in the show! Maximus is such a complex character and I’m so excited to see how his story continues

I binged the whole season in 2 days. Absolutely phenomenal! The characters, setting, cinematography, and story blew away all of my expectations. I knew I would love The Ghoul because Walton is a show stealer in everything he does; but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved these two. Bring on season 2!

Same, except I spent all day yesterday and some of last night binging it. Only game that's been adapted to be watched TV/Movie that hasn't sucked. I was so surprised i just couldn't stop watching

I was so pleased with this show. You could tell everyone was a fan of the games and this was the best love letter to it. Cannot wait till season 2!

Yeah, with that final tease in the finale, I am curious what they decide to do. I'd imagine they have to decide which ending was canon for that specific area. I mean it's only been 15 years since the game in world.

After seeing this and the series, I sincerely hope Walton Goggins gets a Western movie. Because he brings his character off SO well, such a joy to watch.

He was pretty much the 2nd main character in hateful eight. He’s the main foil in Justified. The Ghoul proves he can stand as a vagabond cowboy and that’s a movie I’d want for him

The coolest thing about these interviews as someone who has been a player since early, is that they STILL personify different players of the game. It is SO COOL and they're perfect for this adaptation.
Ella Purnell's eyes are so large. Like doll eyes. It's kind of jarring but works well for a character who's lived her whole life in an underground vault

The show inspired me to go back and watch some of Goggins’ prior work. Such a phenomenal actor.
The Shield! It's up there with The Sopranos, The Wire, Lost. And he's the second best character in it.

I could tell the girl giving the interview was a fan, her questions and just her conversations with everyone was so great! Loved this!
"Thou shalt get sidetracked by bullshit every goddamn time." Favorite line in the show (by Ghoul of course) and now a perfect answer for my wife when my son and I are sent out to do a task and just end up watching the Patriots/Celtics/Red Sox game somehwere instead.
The Questions are so good! You can tell she has a great understanding of filming, acting, directing, etc. Brings out the most interesting aspects of the Interviewees.
Just watched all 8 back to back and Loved it ❤ played all the games and put over 4,000 hours into Fallout 4 and this did not disappoint

Everyone involved in this show’s production has kept me amazed for 5 episodes so far. I can’t rate it yet, but so far it’s pretty much perfect.
Maximus was a bad cast. Hell id take icecube over him. Good thing the rest of the cast was good.

I had a feeling that WG would be in SC filming Gemstones for his interview. He's even got his Baby Billy flow going on, lol. I know it's gotta be tough doing promos while you're already filming your next project. 100% one of, if not, the most talented actor working today. He's got that Bryan Cranston range. His drawing potential is skyrocketing right now.

When I heard Walton Goggins was in it, years ago. I knew it was gonna be good, and I wasn't disappointed. All other cast did beautifully too.
I really hope this show gets the love it truly deserves. I am biased by knowing the games, but i felt drawn into each character. I feel it has awakened a spark in that I’m excited to hear any news of a season 2, unlike most recent movies/shows. Heres hoping more adaptations will take notes.

I loved the interviewer! And I think the actors did too, you could feel their excitement at the rare interesting questions they got lol. Ella and Aaron are such sweethearts too, hope they get interviewed together more.
Interesting that they discuss the makeup of the ghoul. I was a bit disappointed that his makeup looked too human like and not resembling the ghouls in the games. But their explanation makes sense, that with him getting so much screen time the face can't be completely hideous and half rotten. I guess the story kind of makes sense too, that he has had good access to drugs that has kept him from turning completely into a ghoul.
I really really loved this show and this is a great set of interviews, interesting questions and even better answers, thank you Rotten Tomatoes TV and Amazon.
Loved Aaron Moten since disjointed, so I knew he had comedic chops, but damn! The interrogation scene showed how INSANE his range is. Can’t wait to see more from him!

Aaron gives me denzel washington vibes. His portions of the show had alot of character/ heart in them .
The dude who played Maximus was absolute dog water. He was the only bad part of the show, everything else was amazing. I CANT BELIEVE how bad his acting was.
Yeah, they did. I'm a big hater of amazons and bethesdas and such, and I was sure that also acting will be poor (especially after trailers which didn't exactly showed best qualities of the show), but when I saw how all of them play their roles, I was feeling so ashamed and stupid and awful, I'm telling you;). They did really good job. I'm converted now.

This is a brilliant show having binged all 8 episodes. I never really delved into the games, but having seen the main cast interviews, you can tell they have a passion for their characters. Great writing, great story, and great characters thus far. Season 2 please.

Director Nolan really said it correctly, it is a challenge and pressure on them to bring out a world that ALREADY has been explored by the fanbase through the games and lore. I always thought that game adaptations are pretty tough cause the moment you mess with source material or fail with the expectationslike many previous adaptations then gg
Having played the game for many years, I am a fan. (I'm still playing, LOL) I'm impressed with the world building and the easter eggs. The series was a love letter to the genre/game. The Fallout main theme, however, brought back great memories of playing it for the first time once it appeared late in the series. Props to the cast and production!
Yeah man they captured that old fallout magic only down side is now I want someone to make a dark souls tv show of the same quality

The cast was amazing, they all nailed it! Love it so much, can’t wait for season 2. Massive fallout fan and I think they nailed it! They wanted to put more in but obviously with only 8 episodes there was only so much they could fit it! Thank you! Made me wanna go back and play some fallout again!

Every characters have strong background introduction and nothing feels unnatural compared to the game itself.

I was so worried going into this show. With the way the Halo show went and most marvel/Star Wars shows recently, and rings of power. But wow was I blown away by this first season. I think we are hitting a turning point where the creators realize there is a reason that a fan base already exists and that staying true to what the original fans love will give you a good show that will draw attention for others while maintaining the fanbase you already have.
its like walter goggins pointed out in this video, these worlds are already fleshed out and good enough to just be converted over to a show adaptation. halo had NO business messing with the story details when the game itself is proof that they had an amazing story already laid out for them to work with but their arrogance came through and they thought they could do better than the original writers. im so glad the fallout producers are paying respect to the source material, i can't wait for season 2 which is something i cant say for my halo, my favorite game franchise. I couldn't even get through season 1 with how off putting it was to me lol
@@musek5048 Halo reach is one of my favorite games of all time. The second season of Halo turned the entire battle of reach into a bottle episode where chief doesn’t have any armor and the Spartan 3’s don’t exist until after reach in the show. And they make the spartan 3’s worse than the spartan 4’s. One of the Spartan 3 recruits is literally a comms officer with no battlefield experience, they also don’t have any augmentations and don’t wear Mjolnir armor. Super disappointing all aroond

They figured that master chief didn’t have enough depth to be the main character of a tv show, so they thought they would rewrite one of the best fictional characters ever made. Bunch of bullshit. I mean fallout is a little easier in some sense because they have the freedom to create any character they want, but they still created a main character that feels like first character I played as in fallout 3. Just a vault dweller with messiah level hood karma lol.
