Great question. I stayed on the brokerage side meeting investors, potential partners, and learning more about deals while I was doing deals myself. I think brokerage can be very helpful in that manner.

That’s always my first offer - a JV with the landowner. Saves us on upfront costs, helps make the landowner more money.
