Been listening to metal for decades...These ladies really have reignited my passion for music. Whether it be Power, Thrash or a majestic, beautiful ballad, Lovebites have it all.
LOVEBITES - Nameless Warrior lyrics: This is it, Living under the destiny to fight My doubts layin' silent in past Arm myself, I am ready to take the step into enemies Will you give it up?
What do you feel under the darkness? I search for light that I have never seen, taking step the way I believe Glorious innocence shined by the moonlight This is the beginning They will not see me surrender Bringing back memories I'll never let it go Now is the time we'll never forget Nameless warrior Hide the light that I found in my path I call it ''faith'' for now That is all left for me Shivering, too afraid of the night but I believe myself This is up to me [!] The truth and lies are in the mirror I search for light that I have never seen Stare inside, I know it's somewhere Glorious innocence shined by the moonlight This is the beginning They will not see me surrender Take my hand, I'll be there and never let it go Now is the time we'll never forget Nameless warrior No time for looking in past now Fears vanishing into the sky... solos Broken piece of a soul Never heal in the rain And will there be end to this? Flaming up inside of me Giving me insanity The memories fading in my head and now I'm fallin' What do you feel under the darkness? I search for light that I have never seen Stare inside, I know it's somewhere Taking step the way I believe Glorious innocence shined by the moonlight This is the beginning They will not see me surrender Bringing back memories I'll never let it go Now is the time we'll never forget Nameless warrior ----- Music by Asami, Midori, Miyako, Haruna & Mao Lyrics by Asami Recorded by Lovebites (Bass recorded by Miho)
This song was the last one they recorded with Miho, the bassist and founder of the band, who in August 2021 decided to leave LOVEBITES, it is a sad song for us, with a very strong meaning. Miho, you will always be remembered!💜🐺🤘
Miyako is a phenomenal pianist too, in addition to her phenomenal guitar ability. And YES they do ballads too. You will LOVE them. Here is their softest ballad, live: "Epilogue" th-cam.com/video/JIAJYBuuKGM/w-d-xo.html
This might not be right piece for you. This song is not a regular piece of Lovebites. This is very personal and memorial of them. The band founder/leader/bassist Miho left the band last august, and they wrote this song after Miho anounced her intention of her departure, as their send off to Miho and a fairwell to the Miho era of Lovebites. The phrase "this is the moment we'll never forget" in the lyrics is literally as it is, hence this recording is their last moment to play together as the original Lovebites. They have thrown an audition for the replacing bassist and in the progress now. As you presumed, this video is footage of Lovebites from the very beginning until this recording. If you like more changes in a song, try their progressive such as A Frozen Serenade th-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/w-d-xo.html or Edge of the World th-cam.com/video/UZjxMjBop7w/w-d-xo.html. If you like classic music, try Swan Song with Revolutionary Etude th-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/w-d-xo.html. You should watch a whole video of a live concert such as Daughters of the Dawn or Five of A Kind or Heavy Metal Never Dies. Each album lasts almost two hours. They perform every stage flawlessly. No other bands can do that.
Thanks for the comment gatorgrato! It seems you know their music and history well. Thanks for checking out our video!! I like the idea of listening to these talented musicians doing something progressive!! - Ddubs
If you want to watch the real guitar's speed of Lovebites watch: Set the World on fire (live). For ballads: Epilogue or Edge of the World or Empty daydreams but the best for me is Chopin etude + Swan song. Thanks.
Nice reaction! For a wolfpack this MV is very meaningful and emotional...it tells the story of LOVEBITES! "We are LOVEBITES and we play Heavy Metal!" - Asami (vocals) (quote from several live performances...)
They don't just play power metal either. They also have quite a number of songs that are heavy thrash metal like Metallica or Slayer. Check out "Break the Wall": th-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/w-d-xo.html
This song in terms of tempo is up there for sure!! Perhaps a slower song would be more to your taste!! Something like Empty Daydream - th-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/w-d-xo.html Hope you enjoy!! 🤘🐺🤘
Lovebites is a phenomenal band. This song was an odd one to be introduced to Lovebites with because it was created as a tribute to their bassist Miho who had announced her departure from the band. I only rank it at #28 out of their 47 songs. There are easily 20 songs better than this one which would give you a much better impression of the band. I suspect due to Miho's departure they weren't able to put as much time and effort into crafting this because they wanted to include her in it. This was the last song with all five original band members. The video contains footage of Lovebites' journey from inception up to today, a history of where they have been. You should do another reaction to a typical first song by them like "Holy War". Use this link: th-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/w-d-xo.html
Thanks Chad. It seems like you are a massive fan, and we both appreciate you sharing your knowledge of the band. This song was literally a random selection. As mentioned in the video, we did attempt to react to Lovebites in the recent past before being interrupted by our daughter. We were not able to recommence that one. I do believe it was a live video as well. Regardless, they seem like super talented ladies. - Ddubs
A bit of context on the song: on past year's august they announced their bass player was leaving and they were going on hiatus for some time. To not be totally inactive they released a compilation album of their first 4 years, and they called it _In the Beginning,_ to show a clear intent of coming back and tell everyone that this was just their beginning. _Nameless Warrior_ was the exclusive song of the compilation album, it's the last song recorded by Miho, the bass player who left. So this music video is speaking about their beginning years and is also a good bye to her _"we'll never forget nameless warrior"._ I heard about people telling you it froze but I didn't thought it was so bad until you started to play the video, it's nearly unwatchable. You should try to figure that out somehow. And yeah they don't do only Power Metal. Thrash, classic heavy metal, ballads. If you are curiuous about the piano try Swan Song, or go for a ballad like Epilogue.
You are right about the video footage it’s a chronological order of their career from 2017 to 2022. LOVEBITES does more than power metal they also has a few thrash metal songs such as Thunder Vengeance, Break the Wall, and Set the world on fire just to name a few, the black haired guitarist Miyako is a classically trained pianist and plays the piano parts, oh and may I suggest matching the resolution settings between the video you react to with the video of your system that might help with the lag issues may I suggest Break the wall (live) th-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/w-d-xo.html this is a thrash metal song
Rick, thanks for the technical suggestion! We will look into that for sure. Thanks for checking out our video and sharing some info about the band. They were truly impressive, to say the least!
they did the compilation with their older video because they have to respect their bassist who left the band last year.. it's not cheap at all because it has its own valuable.. also I think the lone wolf in the video is a representation of their bassist Miho, who will keep running and going ahead.. this MV is the only masterpiece they can made after the hiatus announcement.. btw, the lead vocal and the black haired guitarist just giving birth to their first child this years.. they said the band will keep going even more better after they get their new bassist.. I think they already get one from the audition.. can't wait to see their next live touring in japan..
what a wonderful sweet thing! I feel so much closer to the band on a personal level after finding this out. And also how wonderful that when a band member leaves that the other members are sad and happy for them...not angry and bitter! - BStar
What a sweet story about the parting of ways. Lots of bands are very angry when a member leaves, and for them to do this song as a tribute to their time together...that just makes me love them as people that much more. And yet, as a music style, I don't think I'll be listening to any more of them. -BStar
Basically this song/video is about the end of a chapter and the beginning of a new era for Lovebites. Miho, the bassist and the co-founder of the band left last year and currently they are in the process of finding a new bass player. This song is just OK; wait to experience the rest of the songs (especially live) and you undoubtedly will be blown away. These women are extremely talented, skillful and exceptional versatile musicians. They toured England in 2019 with Dragonforce (they are good friends, by the way).
DragonForce is a UK band, not Japanese. They often collaborate with a number of Japanese bands, including so really fun live shows in the UK with Lovebites together on stage, but they are not Japanese.
Not their most polished work due to circumstances like many have mentioned. HARUNA though, she put in an incredible effort on this track. This is one of her very best works IMO and no wonder; she and MIHO have been together on rhythm for ten+ years extending prior to LOVEBITES into DESTROSE. They co-founded LOVEBITES and she sent her partner off in style. 👸💙 🤘🐺🤘
@@ddubsnbstar835 👍 Always here for LOVEBITES. They are very very close to announcing their new bassists and it appears they have been composing new material for their return. Hoping for a big reveal with an amazing new original track with their new bassist.
To be honest, I'm not even sure who told me. However, it seems that I was very wrong. I truly know little to nothing about them. I believe it was even Guitar Hero that was the first place I'd ever heard them. -Ddubs
@@ddubsnbstar835 DragonForce picked Lovebites as their support band for the UK leg of their World Tour in 2019. It gave Our Ladies Of Perpetual Shredding a massive leg-up. 🤘🔥💜🐺
Lovebites make me HAPPY 😊 🐺
Been listening to metal for decades...These ladies really have reignited my passion for music. Whether it be Power, Thrash or a majestic, beautiful ballad, Lovebites have it all.
Lovebites are the one band I just can't seem to stop listening too.
Raise some hell, Swan song, Break the wall, Shadowmaker... Any of them live...
Incredibly talented...I love this band.
LOVEBITES - Nameless Warrior lyrics:
This is it, Living under the destiny to fight
My doubts layin' silent in past
Arm myself, I am ready to take the step into enemies
Will you give it up?
What do you feel under the darkness?
I search for light that I have never seen, taking step the way I believe
Glorious innocence shined by the moonlight
This is the beginning
They will not see me surrender
Bringing back memories
I'll never let it go
Now is the time we'll never forget
Nameless warrior
Hide the light that I found in my path
I call it ''faith'' for now
That is all left for me
Shivering, too afraid of the night but I believe myself
This is up to me [!]
The truth and lies are in the mirror
I search for light that I have never seen
Stare inside, I know it's somewhere
Glorious innocence shined by the moonlight
This is the beginning
They will not see me surrender
Take my hand, I'll be there and never let it go
Now is the time we'll never forget
Nameless warrior
No time for looking in past now
Fears vanishing into the sky...
solos
Broken piece of a soul
Never heal in the rain
And will there be end to this?
Flaming up inside of me
Giving me insanity
The memories fading in my head and now I'm fallin'
What do you feel under the darkness?
I search for light that I have never seen
Stare inside, I know it's somewhere
Taking step the way I believe
