    Wow, an ACTUAL review. None of these new car reviews bother putting up a car on a lift. Very interesting and very thorough. I am looking for a 2014-2015 Acura and this video was very helpful, thank you.

    Insane review, it sets a new standard to the “screen reviewers” out there that only care about “technology “ in cars but for them tech is how big the screen is and how it connects to your phone, keep it up man!

    Very informative. I especially appreciated when you went underneath to show differences between the MDX and Enclave undercarriage. Should I try to add some rust protection?

      Thank you! It would always be nice if you plan to keep the car for a long time. It will protect your car and it will be more quiet after this.

    Love the thorough video. I had a specific question. What is the name of the part on the undercarriage that shields the transmission. It shows a metal cover that looks like it attaches to the front splash shield. I can't find the name of that part anywhere. You can see it around the 11th minute of the video.

    I really love your videos and full explanation of EVERYTHING with mechanic live samples. I want you to ask: Wich one acura mdx is better 2013 or 2014 because of the transmission 6/9 speeds or wich year/generation would you recommed as used family car. Thank you so much from Mx.

    • @EMIGESO
      @EMIGESO 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      OK, I´ve just watched you 2016 RDX review and so I have the answer, Correct me if needed: The most reliable engine and transmission ever built by Acura it´s the 3.5 engine with 6 speeds. And the the first years for 3.5, 9 speeds transmissions works good on sports mode, but in general feels very nervous when shifting the gear. Cuestion: Have this problem been solved in current generatios? since when?

    Мне очень понравился ваш обзор про мдх 14года,спасибо! Хочу приобрести мдх именно 14 года в России, в самом ценовом диапазоне б/у есть ещё тойта хайлэндер. Как Вы думаете какой лучше брать? По надёжности мдх много не успупает хайлендеру?

    • @AtomicCarReview
      @AtomicCarReview  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Здравствуйте! Спасибо за комментарий! Я считаю что Акура вообще ему не уступает, а во многих вещах даже лучше. Это совершенно другого класса автомобиль, он намного технологичнее и комфортние и приятнее в управлении. Может у Toyota чуть надежнее коробка, но во всем остальном Acura точно не хуже, а в комфорте и беззопастности явно лучше.

    Would you choose the 2014 mdx or the rx 350 please explain why thanks

      Definitely MDX without a blink of an eye. Less complicated, 3 rows, more sporty. Thanks for stopping by!

      MDX please. RX350 beats MDX in reliability but the MDX is reliable enough

    Скажите, пожалуйста, хочу купить акуру 2017 мдх с пробегом 93к миль. Судя по вашему видео нужно поменять только свечи и ремень зажигания. Какой у нее ресурс вообще? Не хочу попасть на проблемы после покупки

    • @AtomicCarReview
      @AtomicCarReview  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ivan Campbell, 93К миль - это половина того, что она может прожить. Но после 120.000 миль машина уже начнёт требовать каких-то вложений, то-есть существование после этого пробега уже не будет бесплатным: могут ломаться амортизаторы, компрессоры кондиционеров, могут быть шрусы, контрольные тяги, но в целом - это больше лотерея. Иногда эти машины доезжают без особых проблем до 180.000 миль. После пробега в 180.000 миль возможно уже потребуется доливать масло между заменами. Также советовал бы вам, если вы собираетесь перевести машину из США, советовал бы выбрать что-то из более южных штатов, южнее Вашингтона. Там будет меньше износ из-за лучшего качества дорог и меньше будет проблем из-за соли.

    What to look for? The 2014 has the most complaints of any MDX. Is it really that bad?

    • @JonathanRogers1982
      @JonathanRogers1982 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      By the way, bought the 2016. But almost for the 2014. Ideally the 2015 is considered the most reliable.

      @@JonathanRogers1982 You mind me asking how the 15 differs in terms of quality, I am considering one at 27 k with 48xxx and any advise is appreciated

      @@TariqAbdul12 I watched a bunch of videos and looked at car complaints/consumer complaints. It's the first gen new design, apparently had a ton of issues. The reality is, I'm sure the 14 is just fine, and that's not very many miles if 48k.

    • @TariqAbdul12
      @TariqAbdul12 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JonathanRogers1982 thanks for your response, I ended up getting the car, its a 15, thank god it has a 6 speed tranny instead of the 9 wich started i think in 16 models.

    • @JonathanRogers1982
      @JonathanRogers1982 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TariqAbdul12 the 15 is great. 16 with the 9zf is fine too so long as you flush the transmissions after 70k miles about every 30-40k miles. Jerks a little first to second but it's not very noticeable.
