Very nice. Followed both your videos. Got it all installed smoothly. I was previously locked out of 4GB of storage for some reason. So out of 8GB, 4GB was missing and ~3GB was hidden, so all the tablet had, was 1GB of internal memory. After this flash, with my previous data intact, I now have - 4GB totally free and 2.90GB in use!! Thanks for your help, and to all the devs involved.👌
@@channel48 Only issue I had was GApps. I had to install the latest Open GApp from here - opengapps.org/?api=7.1&variant=nano. But even still, nice work brother.

thanks dude, wanted to ditch the default os with all the bloatware. Now my tab is less slow. Only thing needed would be to show how you installed the twrp recovery, since you are using it.
So far worked nice! Everything is fine except safetynet, tried to use magisk and then installing safetynet bypass but that didnt worked for me unlike the custom rommed (lineage os 13 + nikgapps + magisk + safety bypass) S8 which has worked perfectly for me. But anyways I dont really care since its a tablet with tiny storage and not something essential enough to run safetynet. Btw thanks for the ROM!

hi thanks for the video ...... i had 2 problem when installing this ROm at 1 ° was that installing this rom gave error 7 it was difficult, more to discover that the pwrp has to be updated, 2 problem was in the installation of open gapps that even installing the description file did not open the play store it was easy to find the open ggaps website and download the file .. using this rom on day to day it is very light and improves performance a lot more consumes more battery and heats up slightly. better the tablet at all

Hello no ignorance detected 😉 You will have a google free system with no bloatware you can set up exactly the way you want , how ever .., if your apps depend on Google you will run into problems .. you will need to find alternatve apps , there are several options .. sorry late reply i see it today for the first time .!

After I logged with the Google Account and restart I got it bricked with message "Custom binary blocked by FAP lock". Usually on other custom rom I used to anable the option "OEM unlocking" but in this Lineage Rom I could not find this option. Could you advise how you handled this situation? Is there in this ROM version a place to unlock the OEM?

I am a little bit late, but now I found your video and it has been easy to install it, great. There is only one function does not work, GPS. Meanwhile I used different gps.config and followed all the proposals what I could find in internet, no way to run it. There is no chance to get gps fix. Do you have any idea what could be wrong? Or did you test it on your device?? I would be happy to find a solution, because in my case it should work as a navigation device!! Thank you for your advice.
There is a way 🥸 but I never tested ., You know them gps modules for example Rikaline .. they pair via bluetooth .. I just dont know if the navi will see it .. im gonna find mine - they should be cheap now 15 buck or less second hand

After I went back to this old stock rom I could see that this is not what I like, however gps is running very fine, but memory space is the issue. Meanwhile I checked whether your Pixelrom is working for me, when I start installation with TWRP immediatly en error pops up with "location argument to mount ( )can´t be empty". Hi friend - custom rom like lineage comes bare nakkid - gapps will slow down device - I advise to install aurora store then get Chrome and log in via there to a account you protected with 2 step verification and youll be good to go install gmail should work

No problem bro look why I dont advice google playstore is because it will slow down the device .. dont log in with anybomportant account if you dont have 2 step verification on your accounts meaning if someone knows your password you get SMS that someone wznts to enter your mail ... becarefull with those things - use tablet for fun not work or private stuff that could mess you up ok my brother

ah man not for all devices there are roms - type install Twrp on T358 thats the firat search if nothing there then there is nothing

to get GPS working on lineage Make sure that Location Services are enabled
Turn OFF and ON location
Switch from all 3 different modes. Devices Only, Battery Saving and High Accuracy hit ok or whatever on screen that pops up for each one
Reboot the tablet
Make sure Location History is enabled. Not sure if this works on newer build but it works with the one linked in this video.

No problem bro look why I dont advice google playstore is because it will slow down the device .. dont log in with anybomportant account if you dont have 2 step verification on your accounts meaning if someone knows your password you get SMS that someone wznts to enter your mail ... becarefull with those things - use tablet for fun not work or private stuff that could mess you up ok my brother
