The new biggest boss in terms of scale even though its very much a conceptual boss. I honestly loved part 3 of OC3 despite part 1 and 2 being a bit slow

Man... so Nasu WAS the Evangelion fan all along. I always thought it was Takeuchi due to Remake Ciel's design but I should've known since Remake Arcueid.

That, plus the special Saber Wars background for My Room there was, all the Servantverse stuff there was here, Ishtarin Lily scene about getting a swimsuit (plus her being there) on the Mahoyo collab, makes me think that yes we will get it, althouth I hope it isn't bait like Lip's swimsuit... Please, I want Summer Space Ishtar, at least a CE where Space Ishtar appears, she only has appeared on her Valentine CE and her Anniversary tour CE. (The 5th Anniversary CE for NA that was given a year ago isn't counted because she is cutted from the picture, so one wouldn't know she is there.)
The wait's been worth it. The cinema of fighting collective unconsciousness is made so much better with Neo's edits. can't wait to fight the giant stickman in 2 years!

Sure, this chapter was Extra packed but the references to Tsukihime were also enjoyable.
This really felt like a love letter to old school Type Moon fans.

if just arcueid had more screentime and a proper entrance againts the mooncancer this would had become my second favorite history chapter (LB6 it's just so peak and i'm a morgan simp)

Hakuno said that Moon Cancer can summon one servant that they are related to ,so Arc used it by force.
I heard a spoiler that Archetype: Earth would appear here and was wondering how, so she uses Ciel to summon herself😅. I was hoping it would be related to Archetype:AI, a kind of support of is part for the final fight but i guess it was still dormant at this point. I still hope we get a chance to interact with the AI, or at least see it awake and begin is journey to the stars🤔
Still a bit confused over Space Eresh though, our Eresh says they weren't fused physically but they clearly were no? Anki was a beast and was using the body, they were just not fused mentally so they couldn't reach their full potential or maybe I'm missing something.
So ? Golden Moon ? City of Silver Moon ? Moon Dubai ? Immortality ? Let's face it Lasengle took too much inspiration of Sailor Moon for OC3.
Edit: not to mention when fujimaru could have chose the dialogue about why always a bunny ? Usagi Tsukino means rabbit of the moon. Could BB be a Sailor Guardian ?

ORT maybe higher, this is a concept that wouldnt really have a business to tussle with ORT, but in terms of a challenge for chaldea to best, its hard as both needed a different type of miracle
This "thing" s really really strong and we cant fight it in first place, we can defeat this thing bcs of how op golden bb and beast eresh are in the lore, if golden bb and eresh arnt there to help us, we are doomd in first place we cant do anything to this "thing" it will be like ort fight but much worse
@@aokyoutsuki7744 To be fair ORT was soloed by Camazotz. Moon Cancer lost against a lot of heavy hitters including Archetype Earth, Golden BB and a Beast, so they might well be on the same tier for all we know. Not that it can be confirmed.
@@theleechqueen thats what i mean by seperate miracles, ORT took camazots and the by-then human population, the LB7 servants n deities, all our spot summon reservoir, and by the end, the only way to end ORT for good was another ORT

We are too quick criticizing lasagna that we forgot that conceptualizing and actualizing something like this takes time. Most gacha games have too many events but most if not all are just awful fan service with no actual direction.
Thing is, we didn't know they were doing something so good, even if this is part of the main story.

Picture yourself hungy... so you go to a restaurant and ask for a nice plate of food. You're told it takes time so you wait... but the wait becomes longer. Not because the relativity of time makes it so you feel like an eternity is passing but because it really is taking time for your dish to be made. Between having nothing and appetizers, none are good enough for you since you're specifically looking forward to your dish... then you get said dish. And while the wait and money were worth it... you had to wait a long time and the appetizers didn't cut it for you to be patient while your dish was getting prepared.
Point is: story in FGO for the most part is great and awesome. I loved OC3 for the concepts it had since they were interesting. Plus, the Tsukihime and Extra refrences (since they felt like a love letter to the old school Type Moon fans)... and even this little "End of Evangelion" vibe... but the management for the game feels like going to that one funny restaurant where even if the food is good, the general service and experience is questionable.

@@onlybb3286 not to mention the 9th anniversary fiasco, summer 9 being an OC3 prologue that lasted 2 months and the 30m downloads that were not as hype as everyone made it out to be (and by everyone, I also mean Lasangle).
OC3 was peak, but it was accompanied by lame to bad stuff in between as well.
This is great stuff but there really is no excuse for taking this long. Tech-wise, this isn't anything difficult or overly time-consuming. If Nasu needed time to write the story then fair enough. But if it's only from the dev side there is no excuse.
I still have no clue what this "Moon Cancer" actually is 😂
There are two.
The Moon Cancer (two words): A phenomena that acts as a manifestation of humanity's stagnation as they refuse to relinquish their spot as the Prime Species despite having reached a Dead End in terms of progression.
It reduces all 'humans' cognitive functions, making them essentially lazy idiots. Because it's just a phenomena brought about by humanity's collective subconscious, it can't normally be fought directly.
Mooncancers (the Class; one compound word):
Originally a cheat Class created by the BB of CCC. This OC chapter redefined the reason for their existence as being to help shepard humanity towards their final steps before passing the metaphorical torch to whatever Prime Species comes after them or whatever next major evolutionary jump they have to make.

Is the Moon Cancer considered a planatary entity like Earth or the Moon?

The Archetype is the first of the new Prime Species that will replace the AI humanity of Moon Dubai's timeline. Not to be confused with Archetype Earth or the Types of other planets (despite confusingly similar sounding names/titles).
It's some sort of sapient crystal/super computer that currently sleeps within the Burj Khalifa of Moon Dubai (which itself is secretly a rocket designed to help it escape our solar system).
The AI humanity (influenced by the collective subconcious of pre-AI humanity) sealed it away rather than relessing it into space when they subconsciously rejected the idea that they had become obsolete and were being replaced by something so far beyond them that it might as well be a different species entirely.
This willful hindering of progress became manifested as the Moon Cancer phenomena (no matter what they did they could not develop technology that would let them leave Earth/the solar system), which led to their timeline being slated for pruning.
This has to be the most boring fight and boss ever in fgo.
