Since Excode just wiped out his life points in one shot, he lost the duel already and could not activate cursed reborn
Just like what happened in the Yuya and Yuri duel. Yuri couldn't activated starving venom effect cause odd eyes just wipe out his life points for good.
it was a really good duel, although I would have preferred to see him deck out spectra and go over his mind like that, since he wouldn't have had to deal damage him to deck out, so the spikes wouldn't have grown and sunavalon's anti-battle defense tactics would have been useless against him
But we all know the best duel of Spectre was against Lightning in season 2. It's a crime that we never got to see Playmaker and Lightning had a duel with each other.
@@World7589 To be fair, if it came to that, Playmaker would either get locked out of his EMZ on turn 1 (if Lightning went first), or OTK'd on turn 2 (if Lightning went second). Armatos Legio coupled with Judgment Arrows is not a joke & basically needs to be overpowered by brute force. Only Revolver had the brute force necessary to do so at the time.
In season 2 lightning uses jin as hostage and calls him out for how evil he is. But if spectre does it, it's totally fine. At least bohman stepped in, even if late
