I’m an Indian and I can say after watching trailer of the legend of Maula Jatt..dialogues, active , screen presence of actors is amazing ..director lashkari has done phenomenal job for this movie ..congratulations to Pakistani brothers and sister for this amazing work
Indian punjabi film producers got the finance and Pakistan punjabi film makers got enormous experience,if the both joint forces they can take punjabi films new heights..
As the comedy films are being made together by Eastern and Western Punjabi actors now a days. Those movies are getting popular.

Maula Jatt has no vulgarity, unnecessary songs or hating other countries / religions to capture masses. Pure story, dialogue and performance-driven saga. I have yet to come across a movie with such intelligent and deep dialogues that stay with you combined with awe-inspiring cinematography. Hats off to the cast and team for displaying each character with such honesty - truly soul-grabbing performances. A treat for those whose native language is Punjabi.
It does have a some vulgarity.

Not just you but even I as a British Pakistani, was amazed at the brilliance of this film. India's films but Pakistani TV dramas, cannot be beaten, but this was exceptionally groundbreaking. I hope they can maintain this excellent standard in future films too ❤

There was a little dispute of copyright claimed by the original Maula Jutt Director which was settled in 2019 and due to COVID-19 it was further delayed and finally released and a box office hit.

1979 main film bne maula jutt jo all time blockbuster thi. Is film ko india main jeene nahi don ga aur lalkara jutti da k naam se copy kya gya. Yov raj g ne noori natt k bolne ka style ko copy kya jis ka zikar ono ne aik interview main.

There was no ban over this movie, actually due to the Corona, the whole world of cinema industry hold their mega movies same like Bollywood or Hollywood did that. One more reason of this Maula Jatt could not released on time that was the producers of an old Superhit "Maula Jatt" movie went to court the for the copy rights of the characters of movie like Maula Jatt and Noori Natt. But they were successfully tamed and got their share in shape of some amount. As you know it happens everywhere in the world.

Brothers movie released late because producer of original Maula Jutt sued this movie, than Covid delayed it further. After they won the case against producer of original movie, Legends of Maula Jutt was released. Movie was completed four years ago.
