Ignition Custom Engineering in Adelaide make +2, +3, and +5 tube mag extension kits for the PB12. Also a machined aluminium 12G follower which slides better down the tube. Might help your loading issues.
At 8.34, my Bushmeister would not accept 5th round of roll crimped 2 3/4" shells, these are approx 3mm longer than star crimped. I removed a plastic plug from the muzzle end of the mag tube and 5th went in no worries. The mag spring now pops out forward when the tube cap is removed but easy to push back in when reassembling. . Awesome review Ozzie as always. Gee it just highlights how emotionally idiotic our laws are. I reckon my old Mossberg 500 and Winchester 1200 pump action shotguns would shoot slower than this one. This shotgun would be incredible fun and great use on rabbits and foxes plus pigs and deer (within range) as a do all gun. Personally I am waiting on the Templeton 2000 push button (with the release action button positioned in the 'thumb safety' position of rifles like the old Ruger M77 and A Bolt 11 rifles) which is due to arrive in the next couple of weeks. As always thanks for sharing and sorry to hear how TH-cam has been mucking you around. Stay well!
I agree, new tech is advanced to the level and beyond that of simple pump actions and this push button action is dare i say almost semi-auto fast, so why not allow pump actions with 5 shots again. I resisted the lever action and straight pull and the thumb lever shotguns but these push button types are really tempting me for a new shotgun, the pistol grip is good on this because the button is on the foregrip, I doubt will see a "tactical" pistol grip templeton, but that doesn't bother me as a person should be able to use the templeton one handed if needed. I think that one will be on my new years resolutions list "buy new shotty" haha

Good 12gauge shotgun. Got buck master but only pump system. It’s the best for the price. Got it only for 300$ . By the way, you can change to the pistol grip it’s universal or from side company’s for turkish shotguns
We owned one for 2 months, first issue was similar couldn’t sometimes the 5th round, then after maybe 4 boxes of shells the bolt seized to the barrel, took it to our gshop who noticed the rib had also started peeling off, rust under rib.. Was sent off to be fixed under warranty once we got it back put one box through and the bolt release button started getting to hard to push down. After 2 more boxes of shells the rib came off again and the right side button was a joke, returned the gun for credit. The idea of this gun is awesome… if it was made by a better manufacturer. We own a few Turkish guns that are beautiful guns this pb12 just wasn’t to be.
I got the 20inch synthetic, did yours have a picatinny rail on the receiver? mine doesn't, and the sights are a little different to the one in this video
@@MassLox Nope no rail on the receiver just a small rail under the forend. Not sure about the different sights on the 20inch version though I overheard that some of the 20inch buckmasters didn't have the ghost ring sights like the one in this video and instead had rifle sights or just the typical front bead sight. Other than that I'm not to sure sorry!
@@rizman2554 can confirm that mine doesn't have ghost rings, it's more akin to what you described, rifle sights with the high visibility Fluro rods. First thing I did when I got it was email a local gunsmith to drill and tap the receiver for a rail, although will have to wait until January now to get it done.
Gas or inertial operation? Whats the strip-down like with whatever linkage from the button under the handguard to the action? Is that why it comes 'pre-assembled' in the long case compared to ease of taking off the barrel on the other? 🤔 And how close are your fingers to the barrel pushing the button when youve run a few shells into heating the tube up? Press-weight of the button - a light fingertap or need to deathgrip the forearm? Will leaning the forearm against a post pop the action closed by its own weight?

I have a question for you-I have a Adler b230 tactical 12 gauge shotgun that’s a straight pull,I want to trade it in for a Templeton arms T-2000 button release 12 gauge shotgun. Do I need to get a new PTA because the Templeton is not a straight pull or are they both classified the same action but just different mechanism to activate the bolt ? I’ve spoken to my local gun shop dealer and he said I shouldn’t have to get a PTA because both shotguns are bolt action but they just have differing mechanisms to reset the bolt, but when I spoke to a bigger gun shop in Toowoomba they said I would need to put in a PTA because it’s not a straight pull shotgun ? Are these guys just trying to make more money out of me or what ? I couldn’t find anything on the Queensland police website about firearms and categories regarding these two types of shotguns.
Your adler is a bolt action. The Templeton is a button release. So you can’t do a like for like swap because they have different actions. So you will need to submit a new pta. Read the weapon categories regulation 1997.
@@ckg1776 yeah I already have submitted a pta, should be getting it by the end of the month. And ive already traded the adler in,was glad to see it go,worst shotgun ive ever bought and used.
@@ckg1776 there was no such thing as a button release back in the 1990s and there of course is nothing in the regulations so its classed as a cat A . The straight pull, the lever release and the button release are all bolt action and its only the mechanism thats different, this is what weapons licensing said to me over the phone here in Queensland, so you tell me what's the go then bloke-i dont think weapons licensing even knows what they are talking about,so I put the pta in because its a cat A firearm ! You happy now.
@@Healthliving1967 It is in the regulations because any shotgun that is not a semi auto, full auto, pump or a lever action is cat A in QLD. The lever release is actually a cat B because it is a lever. Whilst not a traditional throw lever it is still classed as a lever so it is cat B. The button release is neither a bolt or a lever but is an “other” on the dropdown box when you do the PTA. The people at weapons licensing are mostly useless in regards to the law. The good thing about the button release being cat A is you can extend the magazine tube as cat A has unlimited magazine size. I have seen a 10 shot getting around.

great review like all your reviews keep up the good work only one thing and i might be getting old but when loading you put one in the spout then load the tube when you were puttin in the 5th round i was gettin worried for you and i haven't been kicked off the subscribe yet
I had mine for around 6 months It runs 28s fine .
Have you had the problem of loading the fifth cartridge and if yes did it improve over time or was something fixable?
Never had a problem mate
@@stuartford7585 pretty sure the mag spring was shortened slightly to fix the issue
thanks for the review. Not a semi-auto but I agree its slicker than a pump or lever. Just to stick it to poo-tube, I subbed ))
If a manually controlled shotgun is legal then a pump action shotgun should be too.
You made it look like it cycles slow.....
They definitely won't try and ban it.....
I'm in the process of getting one it doesn't come with the case or top picatinny rail
T2000 next?
Templeton,adlern bushmiester or buck master?
I had been unsubscribed too! Bloody TH-cam! We will be stocking these shotguns in Moree 😉
What splat targets are those? I really like them
Great review as always what category class do you apply for with pta to purchase one of these mate
Cat A
Would a magazine extension similar to the one put on Adler's a few years ago be feasible?
The push button should be further forward and the picatinny rail on the stock gets in the way of my hand.
Compared to the bushmeister the into battery is damn quick! Almost as fast as a semi! Thanks Ozzie!
shush!
Hahaha shhhh!
@@Jaeger-bi8tz nah no need to shhh man, it is what it is, I’m just stating what’s in the video 😅
Hey Ozzie I have a question to ask, can I own one in Western Australia?
can you do a review on taipan pump action 223
My mate has one. Shoots well. But the $2200 he paid for it is an absolute joke.
It looks like the same build quality (and possibly same factory) as my $400 Turkish lever shotgun.
to much for a shotgun
The Aus Tax
I believe most shotguns made in Turkey are made in the same factory on the same machines.
No left handed version again? These gun makers sure know how to look after the minority of left handers.
Hence why I demonstrated using it left-handed
There is a left handed version available
What category are these under in Vic?
I want one but I’d be too worried it will be taken off me.
Yeah and if he keeps posting rapid fire shit like he is it will not impressed at all not happy at all our feelings are correct felt same my end
@@user-my8zo8uh3n yes but you know if he didn’t someone else still will and it wouldn’t be done right and the news would run with it
@@mattboxwell7506 yeah but hes got huge following should know better, no excuses at all i loved his channel great reviews, but deal breaker for me its hard here west australia at best days dont need this shit rapid fire crap taking my rights away with little i got left
@@user-my8zo8uh3n I'm trying to make sense of it too, either he wants bragging rights when his footage makes the 6pm news, or he's a glowie
if it gets banned and you already have one you are allowed to keep it as the laws are grand fathered. Berika Black Ops and MH12 now banned in NSW but I'm allowed to keep mine as I had them before the laws were changed...
So you can get this under Cat B?
The stock and forend looks too Pardus for my liking.
are these legal in nsw?
Yes, Cat A
Does anyone know what mechanism this gun uses? Like is it inertia or gas driven?
Gas
Must be gas driven, surely!
Inertia it has no gas system
