Nina showed how good her voice is but we already knew that. She shouldn't have picked that song, it was way too mature for her and she didn't project the emotion in the song correctly. But how many 14 year olds know what it's like to love somebody so much that even though they're just using you it's impossible to break up? Not too many I hope.

Nina,s tactic is to impact her high note ,by skipping weired dance moves,,, it was failed. also, kind a insult to JYP who advised her to focus on dance. there are lots of Western english pop contestants better than her and her monotonous vocality /high note(shouting ,yelling) is not so impressive for KPOP(JPOP)Girl group. RIKU,MAYA,MIIHI are more suitable for Main Vocal . Nina Fans are complaining why her rating is so low ,,,but, that,s fair result. if she stick on only 1 tool , may not debut . MAYA/RIKU/MAKO/MIIHI ,,they have 4-5 tools such as VISUAL,vocal,dance,attitude,starship etc
Nina is going at this the wrong way, if she was trying out for a solo gig, then it make sense but she's trying out for a girl group. JYP rate personality and the ability to entertain higher than vocal high notes. Looks at all of his groups, they basically have level out their vocal when singing in a group. What's more important is the ability to connect to the audience and entertain them. Sadly if Nina doesn't change her attitude, don't think she can debut. JYP already knows she can hit the highs, he wants to see her dance and entertain, which she hasn't shown so far, thus the low rating from JYP. Also she needs to conserve her vocal, she won't last long on stage trying to hit all those highs performing multiple songs one after the next. So far, I am pretty sure JYP already picked his cores, mainly Mako, Mihii, and Rima. As for how many he will debut, could be anywhere from 7-9 but I think it will be 8. Noticed during the next round, he paired Ayaka with Rima and Mihii, that's like a sure win. Even Mako wouldn't want to go up against Rima and Mihii as a combo. Whatever it is, I have high hopes for this Nizi project and hope Nina can change her strategy and debut. Pretty sure the final round might be in front of a big audience, singing in front of 1 person is one thing, singing in front of an audience screaming the same time you're trying to sing is a whole new level. Even an experienced singer will have a hard time. On a final note, if you watch Sixteen, you'll see what he's aiming for. Mihii, Rima and Mako smart because they already know how to "play" the system since they are JYP trainees but they also know what he is looking for.
In this presentation Miihi guaranteed her debut, JYP did not stop praising and said that she was no longer a trainee but a singer. I was very happy with the evolution of the girls in this mission, unfortunately not all of them could have good praise from JYP like Miihi, Mako, Maya and Riku (Rio, Rima and Ayaka also had good comments) MIIHI I LOVE YOU
Ayaka sang Precious Love. One of the B-Side song of Twice. Actually, there's a lot of good songs in Twice’s B-Side Tracks. You might want to check it out sometime. 😊
From a regular entertainment standpoint. I LOVED Nina's song. But from a more judgemental standpoint I feel like she should've choosen a different song. Not because of her maturity either. I just think she should've thiught about JYP said. Maybe sung an upbest song with some nice choreo to it. Start out small and build up. She is my Bias and I am SO happy she gets to debut in NiziU. I cant wait to watch her growth♡♡♡♡
miss A's songs are difficult picks their dances where no joke and they always performed it with very stable vocals. I just don't think their songs are a safe pick for so little experience on stage. Maya nailed Touch tho.
I have the same rating as you. Considering the degree of difficulty and completeness of dance and song, I think it will be such an evaluation. Maya did well.
