Just received this Shark Mess Master Wet|Dry Vacuum from QVC. Special one day sale of $79. Powerful suction. Thank you so much for mentioning that the big round sponge filter gets wet and will need to be hand rinsed and dried out. I would not have known this just from reading the Mess Master manual. For liquid carpet stain messes, I vacuum up the liquid, spray Resolve or some other spot carpet cleaner on the stain. Work it into the carpet with the Mess Master liquids nozzle, and then vacuum that into the Mess Master. Love that I can actually see how full the collection canister is getting during use.This Wet|Dry Vacuum won’t replace my regular Shark vacuum, but it will certainly make cleaning up big liquid spills easier. The powerful vacuum pulls almost all liquid out of my carpet. Great product.

Same except I came more for the review part because I hate having a small vacuum that is convenient in size for the car but sucks when it comes to performance but this seems to be great in both ways

Great review. One of the best. This product looks way better and powerful campared to those other brand handheld ones. I always prefer the ac plugin like this one has for that constant power. I just might have to buy this as a gift for me. Thank you for making this video.

How would you compare this to the bissell little green? My biggest use for either would be soaking up urine from our older dog who sometimes has accidents, and our younger dog who has a sensitive stomach and throws up once in a while. Either on their own bedding, or once in a while on our bed.
I thought maybe the bissell would be good because i can wash at the same time as extracting.
But i really love that the shark has more power and everything is dishwasher safe. I have a regular carpet cleaner for whole room carpet cleaning and messes, but it doesnt have a hose attatchment its just a basic one.

I’m thinking about getting one to replace my large shop vac that I only use on the cars. Hose looks a little short, and I can’t help but notice the marks it left of your seat, not that I would use it on the leather. I’m just looking for something that has good suction, standard shop vac just seems like it doesn’t cut it.

yes but not very well

You could but it would take forever. It’s for liquid or dry “spills” on either carpet, fabric, or hard surfaces. An example would be vacuuming up a whole liter of spilled milk or cola. The suction is strong - very impressive. The Shark Mess Master canister is not large enough to use for something like a water flooded basement. You would be emptying the canister constantly. You would need a large shop vac for something like that. This little wet/dry vacuum also is not intended to replace a carpet cleaner machine for room sized carpets.

It’s good filtration you can put a BAG in the bin, it has a FOAM FILTER on top of a FELT FILTER, and then another filter for the exhaust

The price varies so watch for sales. I picked up one on sale from QVC Home Shopping for $79 and it is on Amazon for $99 dollars. Almost all vacuum appliances regularly go on sale. This Shark Mess Master is a strong little machine and was well worth the money for my family of frequent spillers.
