I wouldn't say it p*sses me off, but it does make my eyes roll that the Superkick, a move that was INSTA-DEATH to get hit by, has essentially been regulated to the level of the DDT because of guys like the Young Bucks, Dolph Ziggler, and just about everyone else in the WWE & AEW roster, making it less effective of a finisher and more like just another striking move. When HBK used the move there was Psychology/Logic to it; I don't see that with talent today, not to mention the fact they draw attention to their thigh slapping.

Superkick gotta be one if the most overused maneuvers these days along with DDTs, suicide dives over/through the middle or top ropes, stunners (both regular and springboard variations), dropkicks and powerbombs to name just a few.
If you loolk at all the wrestling moves, a lot had been finishers that at a point got used by other wrestlers as just another move in their reportoire. Because pro wrestling started as a carnival attraction and with 2 guys dragging each other from one side of the ring to the other with maybe some brawling. But moves like even a body slam? Nope! All cam later! And in some cases they didn't even ask the wrestler that in invented it, if they can use it. Take the DDT as an example.
Shawn must have forgotten when he picked up Cody backstage when he pissed him off lol. I think it was 2006-2009. Also when a producer told him his n Jericho's match went too long and he replied the way he did lol.

I met Shawn Michaels once in 1997 in Indianapolis. They just got done doing the in your house pay-per-view, The one where the Undertaker got buried and all you seen was his hand come up out of the grave. After the show I was one of the kids outside waiting on all the wrestlers to come out and ask them for autographs and being a fan. I had a Shawn Michael Scrapbook going all the way back to the mid-eighties at the time I was in my mid teens. Finally Shawn came out with this little bag on wheels or whatever, And I was nervous and I was like "excuse me sir sir I'm your biggest fan can I have your autograph?" He told me to "get the f*** lost kid I aint signing no autographs" That shattered me as a teenage kid I threw my Scrapbook away in a dumpster at market square arena on my way out. I'm glad he appears to be in a better place physically and mentally now. But I have a strong distaste for this man I don't even watch him on TV when his matches were on. I would change a paper view at the main event if he was in it. I have 0 respect for that man, I have not seen him as an adult yet and I seriously doubt he remembers that 1 incident. Yet that impression of him to me I've carried with me my whole life. I wish him nothing but the best but when it comes to anything he has to say I could care less..

I love Shawn Michaels, but I wish modern wrestlers had been inspired more by Bret Hart rather than Shawn. I just think Bret's style of wrestling, his psychology and his overall outlook on the wrestling business was and is better than Shawn's.
