Emotional abuse is sometimes worse than physical abuse. The abuse continued and was not helped by the PARENT in this case. Parenting does not end at
18 yo. Kody listened to Robyn and he should have told her to shut up and stood up for his kids. He will lose Robyn, because I don’t think she is that stupid, and his kids with her. He has some mental health issues. I pray that the kids, Kody and all the wives get help. Robyn also need to take care of her health in general because she is unwell. That goiter looks worse and worse. No wonder she can’t do anything she is sick and needs help from a real doctor and therapist. Her thinking and health can all be affected by her Thyroid illness. Maybe she should spend some time in meditation and prayer with the Lord. The sad thing is she has no concept of what she has done. Her own children are suffering from both her and Kody and will suffer as a consequence. She should just be quiet and focus on her past behavior and consider what you can do to change your heart and sense of entitlement. I don’t blame her totally because Kody gave her the right to do this and treat his children like you did. She will be gone in a year and alienate her kids again. Maybe her older kids will get out from underneath them and disown them.
My grandmother always said when someone breaks your spirit, you're done, and you must always watch the signs for such a person and remove yourself.

I really believe this. While I don’t discount Meri’s roll, Christine and Janelle really are the “Mama’s” of the group. Meri was definitely first. She was the first wife, and I think she was respected in that roll, until Robyn came along. I think a lot of people would enjoy a show that follows Meri, Christine and Janelle and their children and grandchildren. I think if they can’t just cancel the show completely, just follow that group and leave The Crazy Narcissists (Kody and Robyn) out of the show entirely. It makes me nauseous to think of anything they would try to say about anything at this point. Venom and heartbreak. That’s all they have to contribute.

Christine was the super loving and supportive homeschooler and homemaker (typical mom stuff,) while Janelle was more of the no-nonsense breadwinner, financial planner, and disciplinarian (typical dad stuff.) I think their natural personalities just fit really well together, even if they are both women. They were the two adults most invested in all 13 kids...and they have always co-parented well with each other, as the main maternal figure and the main paternal figure in those kid's lives. Janelle has always been a better "dad" than Kody! And Christine was just so naturally nurturing...so they work well together. I'm sure Meri helped raise the kids, too, when they were younger, but it seems like she bowed out to do her own thing as the kids got older...while Christine and Janelle kept their roles a lot longer, because they still had minor children to raise...and they have always raised their kids together, no matter what drama Kody and Robyn are trying to stir up in the family! RIP Garrison 😢

I feel like he has Garrison's blood on his hands!

I am just grieving, not only for Garrison but for his 2 moms and all his siblings.
Kody and Robyn hurt the children time and again. How hurtful for the children that Kody turned against his children. IMO Kody was a factor in Garrison’s pain.

Well I hate to say it this way, but things started swirling the drain when they brought Robin into all of this.... But in another way it forced the women to see Cody for who he truly is and for them to get out and find their true happiness.
I really don't think the other women had a choice in bringing Robyn in, I think they did what Kody demanded. Kody gives the impression that he gets what he wants regardless of what others think. I don't think it was Meri's idea to divorce & feel Kody saw wives he wanted & the others obeyed. Janelle said once that she told Kody she felt she was supposed to be with him & then she had the spiritual union. Of all the wives I feel Meri was the most mistreated because she was the original & always worked to support what Kody wanted.
And then Meri made life h*ll for the next wife...esp Janelle. Christine charmed her into being better for awhile & then Kody began to prefer Christine & the claws came out....polygomy was horrible for Meri, but she won't denounce it.❤ it....neither will Janelle or even Christine totally.

As someone who has been in the mindset. I can tell you that those words never leave your mind. They keep playing over and over and you begin to feel like you never should have been born. When those words come from one of your parents it must be so overwhelming and dreadful. My heart broke for his pain and his final decision. I pray for those that lost a valuable part of their family.

Christine was a second mom to Janelle's kids. Her pain is real and I know Janelle appreciates what an amazing mom she was to her beautiful son and children.
I can only imagine what poor Gabe is going through, I would be deeply scarred for the rest of my life if i found one of of my siblings like this, he's gonna need therapy after this, I just feel so awful for all of them, my heart and prayers go out to them all ❤🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

When somebody takes their own life, blame can't be placed on anyone other than that individual. That being said, we can absolutely say that the behavior of Robyn and Kody contributed to the deep sadness that this beautiful human being had to endure leading up to his decision to end his life. Kody is a cruel, selfish man, and Robyn is a malicious, selfish witch. I pray that Janelle, Christine, and Garrison's siblings find solace in their memories and the love they shared with Garrison while he was still with them.
Hoping TLC cancels Sister Wives before any more Tragedy happens. Im so done with this show.

True Julie. I am thankful that David is a good man and that he will be supportive to both Christine and Janelle as they navigate the tremendous grief. Also I feel like he will be available to the Brown family children with loving guidance and they will absolutely know he cares.
Janelle will need all the support she can get. The best thing I did for myself, was to join an online grief support group. It helps me to know what I am feeling, so many others are feeling also. If I were Janelle, I would never see Kody again and thankfully her kids are old enough to decide if they want to spend time with him or not.
My heart breaks for these mothers. We are grieving the loss of my 28 year old grandson.
Those baby pictures mean everything. I saw his cute little pictures and cried. I look at my grandson little boy pictures and cry.
Young men so young shouldn't die. We are supposed to go before them.

I pray for everyones sake they can get away from that show and create goodness for the rest of these children, all of them, even Robin's.

It broke my heart when I heard Kody rage about his sons on TV . His words and anger are such that there was little hope of coming back to a functional relationship after that. He never tried. My father died a few weeks ago at age 90. Not one day in my life had my father ever spoken to me like that. I probably yelled at him. But he was a good man and father that understood he was raising children. Not making "content".

We all should join with ROBERT GARRISON'S friends who are trying to get TLC to cancel the series. Last season was so painful and infuriating to watch. I can't even imagine the next one. It is the only respectful thing to do.

I think a lot of blame needs to also be placed on the editing of the show. TLC didn’t need to air Kody’s abusive comments about his kids. They did because of ratings. TLC has never cared about their tv families and the children in these families. The more humiliating the situation, TLC replayed it on repeat. The show producers and editors have blame too.

Then I found these opinion shows, and it was entertaining to hear the crazy that Kody had become, because it sounded like steroids or something wild. Then the “beer and skittles” comment about his kids was mean, and he just was a mean man to everyone, even Robyn. She looks so sad and it has to be because she is married to him… and now this tragedy. I will not speak I’ll of parents suffering in a grief that must be unfathomable, or siblings that will make mistakes and over share… but TLC NEEDS to do the right thing once. Pay out the contract, let this family loose, let the kids be forgotten, let the moms heal, and let Kody figure out Kody.

My heart goes out to Janelle, all of Garrisons siblings and friend's. The hurtful things Kody said about the "boys" , calling them jerks, saying they owe Robin an apology, while all they were doing was standing up for themselves and other family members....for saying what everyone else was afraid to say to kody and robin. All I got from watching the way Kody and Robin treated the children of the OG wives was resentment.
