I don't see "controversial". This sedan is absolutely stunning.
The little sliding compartment behind the seats is to attach an infotainment screen if you want to !
Can’t wait to receive my new purchase of this vehicle. Thank you for the information.
Great review. Thank you.
Thanks for watching Matt!
I think your "lower end" 5 looks way better than the boxy M-sport.
BMW done and excellent job on the new 5 series. It’s sweet. I love it i have one. Pretty expensive but I still love it.
Rear accents around the reflecters are ugly.
Nice video. Thanx for your objectivity. Please review the BMW X6 - 6 cylinder version.
I have a X5 video coming in the next few weeks but next time I go back to BMW I’ll make sure to request it!
@OpticalAutomotive Thanx so much. I like X5, too.
The best design since 2001.
Why do i need voice to open a window, that means i need to activate it, then say something and 50/50 it will open my window plus the delay to prcess my voice. Rather press a button
It looks a bit classy without that horrible M-sport package.
I believe the things in the back of the seats are for attaching a tablet holder.
Thanks for the info!
Just ordered that configuration. Phytonic blue, z8 alpine rims. Took the electric version thought, who can still buy an ICE in 2023 ?
people with common sense
I imagine the only people that like this are young people, the same kinda people that like the original prius. Old school enthusiasts will hate it. Me personally I think an E39 is the best looking 5 series to date... and I pretty much hate everything about the new one. And I guarantee that those air vents in the kidney grill will eventually stop working just like the window motors. I just hope the vents break when they're open so the owner doesn't have trouble with overheating. But they will break, I promise you that.
As a young person, I personally prefer the 2023 model over the 2024
Author of the channel, go to the official website of the BMW company in Germany and you will see that BMW cars belong to the PREMIUM segment, but not to luxury.
The definitions of “premium” and “luxury” differ in the US vs Europe. It may be a premium brand in Europe, but it’s considered a luxury brand in the US.
A perfect example is the Acura TSX/Honda Accord. They were the exact same car, marketed as a regular Honda in Europe but then marketed as more upscale in the US as an Acura.
@@OpticalAutomotive I know that in the USA premium brands are considered luxury, but this is not correct; a branch of a company cannot change the brand name at its discretion. Then there will be a question. To which segment do the European luxury brands Rolls Royce, Bentley and Maybach belong? If in Europe they are luxury, then what should they be called in the USA, since these brands are made by hand?
