He's been in the league since 2019, and he's only played in 85 games in three seasons. I think that's also a record for a number one overall pick. Gotta give him props for that.
Generational players do fade into oblivion due to injuries. Grant Hill and Penny Hardaway for example. Zion will be too if he doesn't take good care of his health.
Zion is just too injury prone. I think he's gaining weight since not even 285 pounds is his normal weight. His body probs tried to compensate for it via overeating since his fat % was too low or something while injured. Just not a good picture of health overall.
I mean, you gotta remember the reason why Zion’s “shooting” percentage is so high, it’s because the shots he takes are within the paint; he attacks the paint But truly Zion must remain athletically healthy
Lebron, Giannis, Embiid, AD, Westbrook, Ja Morant ect also attack the paint but never had a shooting % that high, even prime f*cking Lebron or prime Shaq, the 2 most efficient scorers ever never shot over 57% from the field Zion is one of a kind, i don’t think he’ll ever become an elite defender and playmaker like Bron or Giannis, but i think he can become the best scorer of all time in his prime, i also don’t think he’ll have the longevity of Lebron or even guys like Kobe/MJ/KD who still dominate in their mid 30 so he won’t have amazing ALL TIME stats like them but in term of prime he could be a better scorer than them, i think Zion could average 30+ on 65% FG wich is crazy to even think it’s possible, but when you look at how Lebron efficiency improved from his first years to his prime, from 47% in his 2nd season to 56% in 2013-2014, so basically a 10% improvement, if Zion work as hard he could definitely improve from 4% more. So im really excited to see Zion career, i hope he will reach his potential
@@Anthonydu01630 all the guys u mentioned also shoot a solid amount of jump shots. Zion has a centre shot start in a sf style of play. So he’s definitely very unique in that regard

He deserves none of the hate he gets it’s so sad to see he’s my favorite player and it just makes me sad to see the INSANE amount of hate it’s literally everywhere u go
Fr I believe he has potential to be more "dominant" offensively then Giannis in the paint. (Obv a different kind of dominance , more finesse, less bully ball) I
There are different metrics to scoring. He may be the most efficient from in the painted area specifically. But he won't be most efficient from mid range, 3, or free-throws. And he will probably be one of the worst players of all time from those spots. And even him being the most efficient from the paint doesn't seem like a safe assumption right now. He needs to really play basketball for that to happen.
LeBron only started investing in his body the way he did after he started having back problems. I do think if Zion values his body like athletes are supposed to, then he will excel.
.......and hes not even 25 yet, what's gonna happen to his body when he's 32? Injury-prone is a lifetime thing, people conveniently forget what's happened to all the other players that have had the same issue.
exactly. people don’t just go from having recurring injuries to fully healthy. if he can’t stay healthy this year and can’t finish the season once again, i think the 2023-2024 may be his last before NOLA and the league just give up on him and he’s forced to be a journeyman like Cousins
How can he be a Lebron type player... With no mid-long rang game? Not a single clip of a jumper. He posterized Lebron... So what? He's huge and he's young. Who won't he posterize? Being able to dunk on anyone at will doesn't mean you're on their level. Can he be one of the greats? Maybe, but that is something one proves and he hasn't done that yet. Let's see what he does.
He's better than LeBron and he really doesn't need a mid range when no one can stop you inside ? Did Shaq need a mid range? No did he need a 3 ? No and Zion is just as efficient as Shaq inside .

I’m a huge LeBron fan. I know Zion & LeBo are two diff players but when LeBron retires, I’m gonna be needing that explosiveness that he would bring to each and every game. Zion would do just that. And truth be told, Zion is probably one of the most fun players to watch that there’s ever been.

Nobody is saying that he isn't great, lethal or efficient, nobody in their right mind would argue that, we argue that we need to see him grow healthier, so he can do what he does for much much longer, and that was something to worry about before he gained his last 30 pounds. He's been in the league since 2019, and he's only played in 85 games in three seasons. I think that's also a record for a number one overall pick. Gotta give him props for that.
Joel Embiid didn’t play at all in his first 3 seasons
@@Acw35 Ended up looking into it. Greg Oden has the record.
@@michaeljamesmccabe you have the record for worst comment
Zion is going to kill it no matter the weight. Generational players don’t just fade into the oblivion. Forgot to say nice video
Very nice video I would recommend trying to have audio levels not change so dramatically from the intro to your commentary.
I mean, you gotta remember the reason why Zion’s “shooting” percentage is so high, it’s because the shots he takes are within the paint; he attacks the paint
But truly Zion must remain athletically healthy
And then you realized he made like 4 3s in a row in his first NBA game
Now just what if he devolops a perimeter game with an even more reliable jumper not saying he he even needs it at all
If he has a fully healthy career he will be a top 10 PF of all time
2:00 If he can't control his weight, he's going to keep getting injured. I like Barkley's quote about how Moses Malone made him cry because Moses called him fat and lazy. Zion needs a Moses Malone, not some personal chef calling him the greatest since LeBron.
Jesus that ad was way too long
He deserves none of the hate he gets it’s so sad to see he’s my favorite player and it just makes me sad to see the INSANE amount of hate it’s literally everywhere u go
Lil bro on the ground at 0:10 had me absolutely deceased, put me in the ground pick out a casket type of deceased
Prayge zion stay healthy
Zion will be the most efficient basketball player of all time I said it before I'll say it again.
Efficient when it comes to calories eaten per day
Fr I believe he has potential to be more "dominant" offensively then Giannis in the paint. (Obv a different kind of dominance , more finesse, less bully ball) I
Gotta play more than half a season
There are different metrics to scoring. He may be the most efficient from in the painted area specifically. But he won't be most efficient from mid range, 3, or free-throws. And he will probably be one of the worst players of all time from those spots. And even him being the most efficient from the paint doesn't seem like a safe assumption right now. He needs to really play basketball for that to happen.
and you’ll be dead wrong if he can’t stay healthy
zion and bi coming back and going CRAZY this season
I'm not a LeBron fan but it's not fair to compare Bron to Zion.. Bron invests a lot in his body, didn't let his body balloon like Zion did..
Exactly, Its obvious zion doesnt have that championship winning mentality like Lelegend
LeBron only started investing in his body the way he did after he started having back problems. I do think if Zion values his body like athletes are supposed to, then he will excel.
Now we have to give importance to some chef's comments? C'mon man 😂
.......and hes not even 25 yet, what's gonna happen to his body when he's 32? Injury-prone is a lifetime thing, people conveniently forget what's happened to all the other players that have had the same issue.
exactly. people don’t just go from having recurring injuries to fully healthy. if he can’t stay healthy this year and can’t finish the season once again, i think the 2023-2024 may be his last before NOLA and the league just give up on him and he’s forced to be a journeyman like Cousins
The pels going crazy next season 👀watch
Mike is honestly the king of viewer retention. When I try to click off it doesn’t work
I used to watch your videos in like 2016 and now i have returned in full circle LMAOOO
The quality of content has gone down
How can he be a Lebron type player...
@@diegochavez6203 but the difference between Zion and Shaq is that Zion CAN develop that shot while still being dominant in the paint. just let that shit sink in
@@diegochavez6203 Zion is better than lebron based on what? He's played less than one season and you're crowning him king? I really don't like LeBron, but even I can't believe this disrespect. I get it you're a Zion fanboy so you're obligated to dick ride, but come on man, this kids biggest accomplishment so far is an injury. He Might be one the greats one day but right now he's just a giant kid with potential. Pump the brakes a little man.
I'm really not big on the new generation of basketball at all, but I really like Zion. The young man can turn into a complete animal on the court and take over games. He's got a young Charles Barkley's fury with a touch of Dominique's style and flair.
Imagine being a fan of someone who supports Nigga Lives Matter (LeBum)
Greg Oden 2
Jxmy gotta copyright his videos XD this a carbon copy of highroller.
Over 2 min ad are you kidding me
Zions chef makes more statements then Lavar ball these days...
ive never seen a man his size jump like that, its actually amazing to see
Noti gang !! Just got off work man perfect timing
When are you going to make another what if video? It’s been awhile.
They were his best videos
There are athletes who ate themselves out of a league, and some who smartly used nutrition, workouts & weight loss to become stars. (Bruce Smith of Buffalo & Washington - NFL)
5:43 I have the exact microphone how do you use it
This video needed to be made cuz damn all I hear is bad shit about this dude like they don't remember how dominant he was in significant sample size
Lmao " I travel alot". Bro you do your whole show from your bedroom.
Cut some corners in this one. Not much content here.
If Zion comes back and stays healthy for a season, and keeps bulking grown man. The roster surrounding him with Ingram and CJ could be a real threat
He does not need to bulk at all. He literally needs to cut weight. Not become anorexic but get to a healthy body weight for his play style.
Imagine if Kobe was Zion's size and told to lose weight? Zion just doesn't want it bad enough.
"When he is healthy" is the entire Q - and not being "unspoken" or whatever this vid was supposed to be on about.
Injured
The man who makes his food said he's gonna be great. Mike really hasn't been the same since Makur.
Do a “What happened to Johnny Flynn” video I think it’ll be very interesting due to the facts he’s a very much forgotten player
mike was also asked if you had a headache and a pill bottle with 10 pills and 9 of them would get rid of it but the 1 would kill him. his answer
"depends on how bad the headache is"
Triple torn ACL.
The thing that scares me is that it’s not healthy at all for your body to go up and down in weight like he is doing it is normal to fluctuate weight but consistently gaining and dropping 20-30 is just bad really bad but I hope he stays healthy for the rest of his career and can lead a also very healthy long life
Can’t believe SAS really said that lol
Doesn't matter if he's good if he never plays
Nobody is saying that he isn't great, lethal or efficient, nobody in their right mind would argue that, we argue that we need to see him grow healthier, so he can do what he does for much much longer, and that was something to worry about before he gained his last 30 pounds. And i hope it's his last period of being highly overweight in his career.
Zion got the potential to be great hope he gets back on the court and continues to dominate the court and can stay healthy
Damn man, you are hella quick to call him the next MJ, UT who he reminds me of also is Derick Coleman. Big man, special, Rookie of the year, then he ate his way out of the league.
Who remembers this channel before it became a Jimmyhighroller copycat
Most people forget about zion
rightfully so lol there hasn’t been anything to talk about other than his weight
He’s not unhealthy they just holding out till this season so everyone healthy
Excited for all 5 games he would be playing this season.
And can still buy your family life😂😂 tough
Your videos are the best
This video was bs no cap
I feel like as long as Zion is healthy, he’ll be great!
Good vid bro
I just want another small market with stars to succeed. It does nothing but make games better to watch.
I just hope he can do things in a way that tax his lower extremities a little bit less and good health for the man. He is looking like "what if" player at the moment and one that you cannot build around or trust that he will be there because he is hurt, like a lot and all the time. What if he didn't get hurt and actually played for a while this season???
“Having bigger breast than most women is crazy”😂😂😂
Please stay healthy young man.
Is it me or Kenny Lofton Jr has similar build to Zion (more ripped for sure), but both can play bully ball easily against veteran players.
IM GONNA SAY THIS AND SAY IT ONLY ONCE. WHEN ITS ALL SAID AND DONE, ZION WILLIAMSON IS GONNA BE MENTIONED IN THE GOAT CONVERSATION. HE'S GONNA BE ONE OF THE BEST IF NOT UNDOUBTEDLY, THE BEST NBA PLAYER TO EVER PLAY THE GE OF BASKETBALL. THIS IS MY HOME BOY FROM GREENEVILLE S.C... ALL THE HATERS ARE GONNA EAT THEIR WORDS AND ""WILL"" BECOME ZION'S FANS. HOW CAN YOU HATE ON SOMEONE THATS SO HUMBLE AND PLAYS THE GAME AT SUCJ AN ELITE LEVEL AT SUCH A YOUNG AGE. GO HANDLE BUSNISSS BRO. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
What the hell did you say that other people haven’t already said though? Like what was the part “nobody wants to say”?
6:13 to skip the ad thats 20% of the whole video
"Zion and Shaq are the only Rookies to average at least 55% from the field." Bro Zion played 24 games his rookie year. Stop.
I know he's gonna be a great, his hops with his build is generational
I don't know. They said the same about Greg Oden. Hope he doesn't go down that path.
those rookie stats are on a minutes restriction as well
If he can get a consistent jump shot he would be in the top 5
Cant wait till hes back on the court hes a walking highlight reel.
Hear me out… if Zion doesn’t get injured, and he can get a mid range jumper ( the kind that’s close range where you jump super high, like Michael Jordan) and he can shoot 33-36% from 3, he’ll be a lock top 20 all time
That if is huge mate.
Literally half of this video was an ad
