It may be like how in Phantasy Star Online 2, where the hero had to go back to the beginning of time to defeat the big bad where it was at its weakest and defeating there will erase it from existence in the present.

I'm waiting for it. Would be nice to be at same places we were in last 10 years but looking different, like valencia style with a loot of trees, grass etc that they showed looks amazing.

I was very excited upon hearing about this along with the Demon Lands. This is the perfect opportunity to really go deep into the lore of Black Desert! As well as bring about new discoveries and revelations and maybe even new gameplay. If properly implemented and handled with extreme care, it could bring a lot of people back to the game as well as new players.

When I heard about the 1000 Years Ago Expansion part during the ball, my eyes grew wide. I am so excited to see what PA is going to do with the lore from now on. I really do hope this approach will do more good than harm. I may sound sceptical, but only because of my experience with WoW. All in all I am glad to see they will put even more emphasis on the lore. This game has an amazing base for storytelling. They just need to deliver it properly. So fingers crossed!

I'm generally very skeptical to time travel, came to this conclusion after WoWs WoD expansion... So hard to get it right, so easy to mess up, hope BDO does it right, lots of cool old ruins in BDO already, so fingers crossed.
