If you enjoy checking out Bangkok and other SE Asia spots, consider subscribing. I'll continue to make videos showing the streets in Bangkok and beyond. Thailand is amazing and a great place to visit, work or retire. I'll do my best to show you how to live affordably in SE Asia. Plus, enjoy some great side trips from Bangkok.
That's great. OnNut is nice. I also did a video on Soi 50. I think Soi 77 is coming out soon. I enjoy the area, but I'm probably moving to Phrom Phong in July. I'm always in that area. But, it will cost me about $100 more a month than OnNut. If I can answer any questions, let me know. Thanks for watching. Oh, my building is Knightsbridge Prime on Sukhumvit Soi 77. Really great building. I got a 1 bedroom for 16k on a 12 month lease. I'm not sure if it's gone up
@@EagerExpat It sounds like the rent increase might offset your late night cab fares back home +/- ? On my last BKK visit, about a year ago, I did some recon walking in On Nut. That plus watching many YT videos such as yours to will help me decide on a location to live. I’m fairly sure I do not want to be in “expat central” between Nana and Cowboy. I would like to mix with the locals. However, my recreational interests appear to be aligned with yours, live music venues. I’m sure I’ll find a happy compromise somewhere in between. Appreciate your videos, they do help, highlighting some great spots I have not visited yet. Keep up the good work muchacho.
@@tomyum6163 OnNut is a great compromise to save a few bucks. The cabs aren't too bad. I am looking at moving to Phrom Phong. The apt will be $100 or $150 more than OnNut $480. You can do OnNut for $400 in a 6 story building. Phrom Phong is closer to $600. Still cheap, but nothing wrong with a clean $400 building. Or get a nice large place for $1100. Me I keep it simple. Small place in a nice building
Im living in Melbourne, Australia now. I found that it's easier to buy Western food in Bangkok than here. I frequented W District which had everything i wanted.
I've visited Melbourne a few times. I love Australia. I'll be there soon on my way to visit friends in Tahiti. But, I'm also aware of the costs. Much cheaper living here in Thailand.

Nice video EE. I'll be On Nut condo shopping in early September. It will be here before I know it.

The place on the corner of soi 54 is the local council offices. I got married in there. We were living in soi 56 overlooking it at the time.
Good to know. Thanks for watching
