Honestly the main issues with him are.
- consistency, sometimes he has really good crosshair placement, but when he is peeking an angle or swinging something it’s not that great.
- Game sense, which is just a normal issue low ELO players have, it just looks like he’s running around without really thinking about what he’s doing. Mechanics is something he also needs to work on, the way he peeks/swings doesn’t feel smooth and he doesn’t check corners he just kind of runs in. But he is definitely plat level in my opinion.

I'd really like to see an eggwick video portraying the "most gold/silver/ascendant" players face off against each other as a kind of benchmark for understanding what defines each rank.
Ive once sold my account and grind back to dia in less than 20 games. There’s must be a reason for him to be hardstuck tho. Getting frags isn’t always good but impactful frag is.

He has some consistency issues but I think the main problem here is the lack of teamwork and coordination, if he gets a few people to regularly play with then he can rank up
As an Indian I can confirm Ivan is an Indian and only plays in Mumbai servers. In Mumbai servers you can't rank up it's just the other teammates always think they are better than you and tell you what you should be doing. This is the reason I have only played on the Singapore server since I was Silver now I'm Diamond 2. I can see why he plays only unrated, Mumbai servers are toxic AF
imo high silver or low gold. His aim is decent for his rank, but he needs to learn to buy on pistol, react a bit quicker since it looks kinda slow IMO when someone peeks him, and his gamesense is all over the place. His good points are that his aim is decent (for this rank at least), and he actually knows how to entry (ngl this is impressive af for silver). Like someone said in the comment section, give him a team that knows what to do and I think he can be considered around gold 2-3 at best. He'll need to work a bit more to achieve plat imo.

I dont understand how i am still silver, low Gold i play way better than these silver have my spray under Controll, can play every agent expect for yoru, always smoking the ways off so we cant get shoot in the open and they need to go through clearing site as duellist and then there is my team sprays like i dont know what, boosted, dont know how to entry, dont know how to play these agents, solo peeking, not listening to my comms. I zhink what is holding me back is my aim cause i go often for one taps no matter the distance

I think after watching so many of these we can surmise that the ranks in Val are really inconsistent with determining individual skill, with anything under Plat it's really a toss of the coin (with the exception of hard stuck irons), Plat to ascendant are pretty similar and then immortal and radiant are top tiers
Play “Subnautica” if you want to play something outside of valourant, it’s a great and very fun game

Unrated is actually pretty good to warm up and have a competitive experience without the risk of losing RR. And he's had over 2000 which is mental and definitely will help him in ranked.

Honestly if I were him I would just be on a sentinel or someone with long range util like astra or viper. With a duelist its harder to play entry in low elo cause no smokes no team follow up. With a character like Astra you can lurk across the map and just use util off of minimal where you can lurk. Lurking can get you more wins than actual entries. Take this diamond game I had this morning. This Cypher lurked across the map so he could get picks. After the 4rth-5th round the enemy team started catching on. So they started having one on anchor. Lurking is powerful especially if you can force players to have a player down.
if you are low elo there's no point in playing anything but a duelist, initiator and controller are roles that require more brain and decision making so you can set up your team for succes, in lower ranks people don't capitalize on your util so it's not worth much putting your trust and util in their hands, playing reyna/jett is the way you can climb out of low elo while soloquing

Lurking is a norm, but the thing is lower elo players does not know how to lurk/coordinate properly. Either the lurker takes too much time and doing a world tour or the rest of the team just gets wiped/runs in to die. Its a strong strategy that requires alot of game sense

to be fair with you there is almost no difference in game sense from high iron to mid gold. only aim. low irons play the weirdest shit possible so for everyone stuck here only thing i can say is turn off your brain check corners to kill the 40-60% of the opposing team playing shotguns and then just aim. after that idk to be fair never got in a plat lobby but friends that do say it's joyful to see teammates actually using their agent for the team
I lost all my placement games and 4 of them I was either team or match mvp and still got iron 1 😐 dropped 40 kills just to win a match and haven’t had motivation to keep grinding lol
