Milos Island a unique Greek island. One of the most beautiful islands in Greece where you can enjoy your summer vacation. Milos in Greek: "Μήλος" is a volcanic Greek island in the Aegean Sea.
Kleftiko is famous for its crystal-clear water, elaborate caves, and imposing rock formations, and is the destination for several daily sailboat cruises. The famous cove of Kleftiko was an old pirates' hideout and now one of the most popular tourist attractions in Milos island.
Sarakiniko is a beach on Milos Island, Greece, situated on the north shore of the island. Waves driven by north winds shape the greyish-white volcanic rock into amazing shapes, and the area is often compared to a moonscape.
Klima is the most picturesque fishing village of Milos. This very beautiful village is situated near Plaka. The fishermen houses that are carved into the rocks and have bright colored wooden doors are named Syrmata! The sunset here is an amazing experience.
Kastro is the highest spot in Plaka, the capital of Milos. Two nice churches are found in Kastro, the church of Panagia Thalassistra with beautiful icons and the church of Panagia Shiniotissa, or Mesa Panagia as it is called because it is located inside the castle walls. Do not miss the famous sunset of Milos with the red-orange sun dipping into the Aegean Sea.
