I love it how naturally and imperfect (what life REALLY is like) you present your videos! Unlike the people who make it look like everything is SUPPOSED to be perfect and all, but when something is not perfectly going thier way, they absolutely DREAD life. Great job on the instructional video! 👍
Thank you. I have an old Kitchenaid and went thru a lot of videos that didn't address my type of filter Yours did as your fridge and mine are about the same age. Thanks again.
Thanks so much for showing that extra pop-up or down maneuver (with the cap on the filter) to remove/replace the filter. I too, have a 2003 model and the newer whirlpool/kitchen aid/Maytag models' tutorials make no mention of that. Another youtube video from another individual , uses channel-locks to twist if you don't have much hand strength, which I don't. Between the two tutorials, SUCCESS!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Does that cap on the end lock it in place? I just got a used fridge and the filter was cracked. So I ordered a new filter from Amazon. But accidentally threw away the part with the cap. The garbage is still outside but I think the part is under some spoiled food. I'll look. I was just wondering if the cap locked it in place. With out the cap, the filter kind of stays. Maybe I can jam some rags or something in there if I dont find the cap or maybe I got the wrong filter. I have the same fridge
I am not a fridge expert so I am unsure... But you CAN order new fridge parts. I have a link for Sears Parts Direct in the description. They have like everything. They are probably only a few bucks.
I always like tutorials ... Because sometimes I forget to do things like maybe run a couple gallons through the filter before you actually start using it ... And I think that it is imperative to be very critical of the quality of your water especially when you're raising a young family. I guess my only advice would be maybe keep your sink clean because that harbors a lot of bacteria!
I don't know why you only have 167 likes, yet 32,000 views This video was so immensely helpful to me. Thank you thank you thank you again for making. Short simple and to the point 💯👑💛🖖🤠🎉💦
Thank you so much. The same fridge you have came with the house we just bought. This was a big help.

I'm impressed! Pregnant and still doing chores. I would ask how is the baby... but i guess he/she isn't a baby anymore.
I was pregnant with twins! They are almost six months now! And chores never stop even when you get pregnant
@@Whatsupfagans twins! that is so cool! congratulations!
