He was the best keeper ever played! No keeper is better than him. Good ground keeper, in the air and he was very quick. Eye for the ball and a good footballer overall.

I remember watching Champions League highlights back then in 1998-99 was thinking... Without Preud'homme Benfica barely would have any points. It wasn't the defenders, but only him to avoid defeat.

That catch in 4:40 !!! It is not common in modern football that someone catches the ball like that.
The fact that he actuality catches it rather than punches or fumbles shows his value.
