  • Episode 18 of Figures, Playsets or Accessories that work well with MOTU Classics or Revelation.
    The Death Adder, in my Opinion, goes GREAT with MOTU Classics or Revelation figures! But I felt the same way about the Ax Battler, when others thought he was too big. But as I show in this review, there are other "GIANTS" in the MOTU Masterverse. Like Titus and Procrustus etc...
    Concerning the Figure: The Death Adder looks GREAT, literally seamless! But his articulation does suffer. One issue I have found after filming is his ankles. They come unpegged VERY easy, and fall off. I can pop them back together with a a craft needle nose, but they are weak. I must say, I really miss the Bicep Swivel! HOWEVER, the arms look amazing, even when bent (flexed).
    If you like this "Golden Axe" line or need a Giant for your MOTU collection. This figure is great! To me, he even looks like he could be apart of your Mortal Kombat collection or Street Fighter collection. Use your imagination. That is what I do.

    That is fantastic! Great review! Love the advanced articulation and the muscle details! A MOTU collection with this kind of articulation all around would make Classics obsolete. Mattel had Big Jim with that kind of articulation in the elbow since the early 70's, don't know why they never used it more and most of the action figures look like Pinochio.

      Oh MAN, THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I agree, in a perfect world, Storm Collectibles would make MOTU?

    Another great review, surprised you don't have any thundercat characters in your battle sciences which are really art more than a mere display,

      I would have, but the issue is space, mainly bc of getting them to stand on that grass😬 Talk about domios, when one falls, they all fall!! Then I pull my hair out LOL

    This figure has double jointed elbows. The material starts to tear if you bend the joints to much. If you flip the skirt up his legs can fully stretch out far.

    Hmmm I preferred traditional joints over this seamless joint. The knees didn't look right to me when the legs r bended.

    He is a big figure. Interesting that in the same line of action figure, the axe battler has traditional joints and the death adder has that rubbery exoskin hiding his joints. Wonder why they went that route

      I'm not sure, but I think they were testing the waters with it and setting him apart bc he wouldn't me a very well known fig... Giving an incentive for collectors to pick him up.

    Sweet review! How has the seamless body held up since this review? I am thinking about ordering this Death Adder.

      Thank you so much!! It has held up well. Due to his size, he is adequately posable for most needs. I don't miss the joints as much as I thought I would. But I have had no QC issues with him. 🙌👍

    Im not familiar with any of storm collectibles stuff. Figure detail looks great tho, only negative for me is the articulation. But in saying that, no visible joints is pretty sleek looking

    Another epic review. Thank you. Are you going to add the new Marvel Legends Hercules to your collection? He looks like he'd match very nicely with He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

    How much of the armor comes off? What does he look like with it off?

    • @MrFree2BeMe1
      @MrFree2BeMe1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All of his armor comes off except for his shoulder pads, you can remove them , but you will have to glue them back with silicone, he looks like a bigger version of Shao Kahn with no armor
