I was late to the party seeing Redd Kross 30 years ago, always loved “Play My Song.” This vid/song is a great evolution & hits home w/a recent experience-🎃❤️💣💥
The double album is getting a lot of loud play in my car which is my music sanctuary. It is so good. Saw them a few weeks ago and they fantastic live! Rock on!
This is a great pop song. They still have it. Nothing better than a veteran band touring with new great music to introduce. But just in case you Redd Kross people are reading this, please, just don´t ignore that wonderful melodic part of your discography at the Azkena Rock Festival (Show World, Phaseshifter, etc.)
F***ing great jam in the timeless kiss off song tradition, & it's awesome to hear Steve take a lead vocal! Been looking forward to a studio version since the acoustic instagram post, & a performance video in the Hollywood Hills with monster Gretsch riffs & harmonies for days is icing on the tasty cake! Going to be the power pop album of the summer or maybe the decade, come on 6/28 & keep the singles coming on strong & super sunny even in the darkest of bittersweet depths & it had to be said times! 🌞

They’re somehow underrated , they have consistently had a classic sound that could be from any decade but this latest seems to have elements of past decades and still something modern to tie it together. Rock on guys!

I will NEVER UNDERSTAND why shit like Weezer or the Darkness rose to the top and these kings didn't. The production and sonic quality here might be their best sounding recording ever. It's amazing. My fandom goes back over 40 years and every Redd Kross record release is a HIGHLY ANTICIPATED event in my household. It's always a celebration! They are still capable of being the best band in the world on any given night they play a show. They've had that ability for almost 35 years.

I'm 55 and she has known Dale since we were kids. Steve hammed it up for her at the last Melvins gig I took her to with Redd Kross opening. He pleyed it up for her on stage and she has been sold ever since.
