- Hello everyone and welcome to the channel.
First of all, I'm sorry for taking this so long to complete because I just learning how to use metallic paint on a model. As promised, the next painting video will be the Sengoku Astray Gundam and this will be the first kit that I will use metallic paint. This is an HGBF 1/144 scale Sengoku Astray Gundam from the Gundam Build Fighter series which cost around 15$ / 1620¥ (Check out for more details of this kit here: www.1999.co.jp/10245725 ). This looks so beautiful! Well done! I tried to search for the paint you used on the red parts BUT HOW did it get that purple-ish hue on the red paint? It looks anime accurate with that red with purple hue. Hope you can answer I already failed painting mine coz I want a more pronounced purple-ish red. I need to get another one.
Im trying to understand your question but in this video I only use black color base, and then metallic red paint on it without any topcoat. But if you want to have that slightly purple-ish hue on it maybe you can add slightly clear blue in your metallic red paint mixing. Test spray on the spoon first before applying to the kit.
or the other way is you can find any other metallic red paint that close to the outcome you want. This one most likely to be called as candy paint.

Hey there. I want to suggest you to make a review on fake gunpla like daban brand, dragon momoko or tt hongli. I would like to know your opinion about it. Maybe you could try Daban MG Astray Red Frame. Thx :)

what happen if u actually use matte on mettalic paint? will the color cahnge? :/
It is because the matte topcoat will tone down the shiny effect of the metallic paint.
may i ask do you also paint the rubber part?

What kind of airbrush that u are using sir?

what the difference between clear GX114 and GX113 ?
GX114 will give you a much more smoother surface compared to the GX113. But the GX113 have this UV cut features which can protect your kit from direct sunlight and it’s cheaper.

Actually you cannot transform the Sengoku Astray into a normal Astray completely. There are only a few parts from the normal Astray that come in this Sengoku Astray purchase.
