DT2 owner with the folding handlebars option. So pretty much the eagle just without the stem lighting and a bit smaller battery. The creaking is the folding handlebars. The stem wobble DOES get worse over time. Easily adjusted out but needs regular adjustment. The creaking handlebars haven't changed in 2000km of riding and tbh i'm not bothered by it, have considered getting some sort of silicoje lubricant or something maybe. Brakes squeaking is just the pads, they can be replaced or the brakes adjusted. I found the back brake wears out faster than the front even tho i use the front more. I attribute this to the otherwise excellent mudguard angling spray and grit from the road onto the rotor, the grit sticking to the rotor and wearing the pads even when i'm not using them. Waterproofing! There is only one place where water ingress takes place: right wyere the front wheel throws spray up into the wheel arch. The cables go into the scooter from the stem right behind this cover. Sealing up the cover with some silicone sealant is all i needed to do to ride with confidence in the rain. It's my commute. I ride it 30km a day 5 days a week and i would swear by this scooter. 65km/h(40mph) no sweat. Also, I think one of the P settings is for "slow start" so you might get some better acceleration figures out of it.
I've got no qualms with the Eagle Pro. Having purchased it for $1600 secondary market with only 131 miles on it I have found an Eagle Pro to hit the sweet spot for me. For my weight the top speed is around 37 mph. For now that seems like a good speed for short bursts. While normally I maintain 25 mph cruising speed. Getting a little older so I know the value of life and how we heal a little bit more slowly. 😁 I met another Dualtron Rider who has the Thunder 2 and he mentioned how he rarely goes over 40 miles per hour. I have maxed out all my settings so nothing is saved no regenerative brakes, no battery saves etc which pretty much depletes my mileage to about 20-25 miles in real world testing. I feel sore after doing 18 miles so this scooter is enough for me for recreational use. Now I'm looking one for my wife she's hooked. 👍 Edit: $1600 NOT $2600. 🤣
I love this scooter i got it with alot of mods for 900 but the brakes from the original owner are shot idk if he rode in the rain but the brake adapters are rusted in place and the caliper were never adjusted so it wore out one side. i put xtech brakes on they were got for a month then went bad and now i buy avid bb7s and turns out their fakes that wont fit on right. Put hydraulic brakes on and it’ll be perfect. Dealer breaker for me unfortunately. Yes mech brakes are easier to maintain but the security of hydraulics is worth the extra fuss.
Yep I hear you there I own eaglepro and gotta say the disc brakes ain’t it. Just don’t trust them much it’s a shame they didn’t make them with hydraulic
Chuck glosses over the braking real quick. Unfortunately, the Eagle Pro only comes with the cheapest mechanical brakes. Worked ok at first but 3 months later (after regular weekly adjustments) the braking was crappy. I just bought some Nutt fully hydraulic brake calipers. Gonna install them this week.
Great vid but could you answer me a question? Im upgrading from a kugoo g booster which is 2x800w with a max speed of 34mph (motors have 1200w stamped, so 2400w max). The eagle is 1200w more powerful IF minimotors rating is max output, the eagle is also 5kg lighter so why do most people say 37mph is its max speed? Thats only 3mph faster which id think the booster would do at 5kg lighter....so where is that !!!!!50%!!!!!! Extra power going? Does anybody know? Shouldnt we be looking at 51mph at least from the eagle???
Hi I just want to ask you something. There is a guy saling a boosted vew at 1100 USA dollars do you think I should buy it? Can you please help me with that .
A Boosted Rev? It's actually a really well build scooter, but has super short range. Even though the manufacturer is out of business, you can still get new ones in San Francisco for $1,599. I'd probably spend a little more and get a Ghost. geni.us/h04R?track=web -Paul
Please make a video on best ways to lock scooters and different brands or types of frames. Want to grab groceries and leave the scooter tied to a bike post.
Good call on okida. It seems like they have the same scooters as the competition but just not branded. They also have a full 12 month warranty. Good find!!
Easiest way to cross-check performance of any scooters we've tested: electric-scooter.guide/comparisons/electric-scooter-performance-tests/ The Eagle's got zippier acceleration and has a 8 mph faster top speed, but not quite as effective at braking. Both the Eagle and OXO have rubber suspension, which is the best in the biz. The Eagle's going to have some audible creaks (not too much wobble) with the traditional swingarm style folding mechanism, where the OXO feels really rock solid and makes zero noise. The Eagle's also got folding handlebars and a bit more going on in the cockpit where the OXO's pretty streamlined (not folding handlebars). Hope this helps!
I have a DT2, had smaller battery than the eagle but otherwise basically the same (i even got myself the folding handlebars). I have no troubke hitting 40mph with the battery fully charged. 80-85kg rider. Voltage sag does kick in pretty quick for me tho.
Two great scooters. The Eagle's suspension is top notch, but the stem on ours has a bad creak to it, which is apparently not to hard to fix, but I haven't done it yet. The sound is bad enough that it keeps me from wanting to ride it. The Phantom has a great ride, great stem, and makes all other scooters feel a bit old looking :-) Both are spectacularly good rides though.
If you could squeeze in another $100, the mini 4 pro (minimotors) is a blast. Light enough to transport daily, Drum brakes to remove disk issues from the in/out of a trunk. 6-7 hour charge time (standard charger), easily hit the speed/range requirements you need.
Five minutes of research on dutron's would have told you to buy the double neck clamp I have one fixes the problem entirely, simple fix stop griping neck still wobbles a bit but it's way way less
Absolutely possible! Our scooter testing lead takes a few top speed runs down the same stretch of road, and gets an average from the runs to account for wind resistance. He's around 165 lbs, and you will definitely get variations in range and top speed based on your weight and riding style. Happy riding! - Trina
not the best test, did the same test on Dualtron Eagle (not the PRO) 60V 18.2A batery and i got a top speed of 81Kph and made 61kms with 100% batery to 0%

Get the eagle pro I think it's better than zero 10x and mantis pro I'm getting one soon for $1300👍👍
@@coolshariq after doing more research the 10x suits me better. i like the look and custom add ons you can do with it
Great vid but could you answer me a question?
Im upgrading from a kugoo g booster which is 2x800w with a max speed of 34mph (motors have 1200w stamped, so 2400w max).
The eagle is 1200w more powerful IF minimotors rating is max output, the eagle is also 5kg lighter so why do most people say 37mph is its max speed?
Thats only 3mph faster which id think the booster would do at 5kg lighter....so where is that !!!!!50%!!!!!! Extra power going? Does anybody know? Shouldnt we be looking at 51mph at least from the eagle???
probably has a hidden speed limiter
Then...
Eagle pro or zero 10x or speedway v dual???
Can u review the Apollo Phantom?
Done!

Cool idea! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
have you had any issues with police and getting pulled over for riding these vehicles?
Can you please review Okidas Z4 scooter (and other Okidas scooters) it's hard to find reviews for them, but they look so promising.
Thanks
Good call on okida. It seems like they have the same scooters as the competition but just not branded. They also have a full 12 month warranty. Good find!!
How does it compare to the Inokim OX /Oxo. I can see many similarities in the construction.
Easiest way to cross-check performance of any scooters we've tested:
electric-scooter.guide/comparisons/electric-scooter-performance-tests/
The Eagle's got zippier acceleration and has a 8 mph faster top speed, but not quite as effective at braking.
I'm lucky to get a full top speed of 40 MPH with this model.
I have a DT2, had smaller battery than the eagle but otherwise basically the same (i even got myself the folding handlebars). I have no troubke hitting 40mph with the battery fully charged. 80-85kg rider. Voltage sag does kick in pretty quick for me tho.
When you guys talk about the Mantis Pro: Are you talking about the 8 Pro or the 10 pro? 🤔
10 you fool
should i get this or the apollo phantom?
Two great scooters. The Eagle's suspension is top notch, but the stem on ours has a bad creak to it, which is apparently not to hard to fix, but I haven't done it yet. The sound is bad enough that it keeps me from wanting to ride it. The Phantom has a great ride, great stem, and makes all other scooters feel a bit old looking :-)
Both are spectacularly good rides though.
How you compare it with spider Limited V2?
We haven't had a chance to test that one. We have four Dualtrons coming our way, but unfortunately the Spider isn't one of them. :-( -Paul
When are you reviewing new max g30lp ?
My dualtron eagle pro has hydraulic brakes, magura mt5s
Nice! Did it come with them or did you have them installed?
Can you test the new Max G30LP?
NICE
I weigh 115 pounds and I hit 64 mph on my scooter easily
Hopefully the EA Gaming Companies are feature the E-Scooter Racing for giving idea for other player to buy this product
Haha sounds good
What a dumb idea lol
@@dudeimgeorge Hehehehehehe why not : ). It's a type of Market to more engage the consumer
What, no NanRobot d6+ review?!!??!
This one or Mantis 10 pro?
Both excellent options! Mantis is a better value for sure
Anyone know what scooter that could do 20 to 40 mph has a range atleast 20 miles and is under $900?
Kugoo gbooster
If you could squeeze in another $100, the mini 4 pro (minimotors) is a blast. Light enough to transport daily, Drum brakes to remove disk issues from the in/out of a trunk. 6-7 hour charge time (standard charger), easily hit the speed/range requirements you need.
By now you probably bought something. But if not, i bought a splach ranger a year ago. It gets me 22-23mph on level ground, i’m 170 lbs.
Is it waterproof?
No rating!
man someone needs to review the mototec thor..a new scooter that just came out dual motor 60v 2400w for 1 thousand dolalrs
Five minutes of research on dutron's would have told you to buy the double neck clamp I have one fixes the problem entirely, simple fix stop griping neck still wobbles a bit but it's way way less
Podrían poner suptitulos al español por favor !!! Ayudarían a mucha gente.
My Eagle runs 85 kilometers per hour.
Absolutely possible! Our scooter testing lead takes a few top speed runs down the same stretch of road, and gets an average from the runs to account for wind resistance. He's around 165 lbs, and you will definitely get variations in range and top speed based on your weight and riding style. Happy riding! - Trina
Might as well of just said "Don't buy this scooter" because that's what you guys basically explained in the entire 12minute video
not the best test, did the same test on Dualtron Eagle (not the PRO) 60V 18.2A batery and i got a top speed of 81Kph and made 61kms with 100% batery to 0%
We use the same conditions for every test , on flats you will always get more range then on hills and faster speeds.

not legal in the UK yet
It seems no scooter is legal unless it’s a rentable (the renters making money, passing money to politicians)
Really really waiting and needing your review of the HEROs8 - seems to be the next level up from the FLFree WIDEWHEEL - alot of us are wondering how it stacks up - i didnt really like the semi smooth texture of the widewheel - the HeroS8 has some actual meaty knobbys on its tires so really waiting to see what you think!! Please let us know asap!! Thnx
it looks like a nice scooter but it is expensive for what it is IMO
handlebar too low!
Nope, not waterproof.... Some brands needs to start making them 100% waterproof
Rain and puddle proofed at least, i doubt they will ever waterproof 100%. Someone will submerge their scooter in a pool and try to get a replacement.
All these scooters starting to lookalike..
Probably because there's like 2-3 major frame manufacturerers in China that most brands base their models off of.
How can you tell that the Dualtrons has the same looks as the Apollo/Zero10x? The schematics and diagram of Dualtrons are way different than those budget scooters.
It’s the all very common black look.
“Paul and I”, not “myself and Paul”.
So many people say "myself" for no reason, at the wrong times.
Why haven't you done a review on the nanrobot d6+?? That is a 40 mph scooter with the best customer service in roadrunnerscooters.com it offers it at 1700 dollars it crushes every test i enjoy how u break these scooters down in your review would like to see it...
He not kidding about being kept out of the rain LED Strips were a bad idea gives access to water now you have a 2400 dollar dead scooter
