Wonderful video. Thank you for uploading. Could you pls do a video discussing injuries and the best ways to avoid them when practicing? These lesson videos are also excellent by the way.

Thanks for the feedback! Yes that is a great idea. Hand injuries is one thing that is important to avoid. But there are other injuries pianists are at high risk to suffer from, like back problems from sitting a lot particularly if other activities also include sitting a lot. I'll put this on my list for upcoming videos. For now you can already check out this video I made about a related subject: th-cam.com/video/ti6axFFNvqI/w-d-xo.html

@@PianoFantasy I currently am having a terrible upper back problem from practicing. I didn’t have any issue for quiet a while and now am in the middle of having several days off to let my back rest. A video on the topic would be great! Many thanks Lars

I got a serious back problem from sitting wrongly at the computer, doing video editing and working on my website. Combine this with more sitting at the piano, and there is the formula for back problems. Now I just got a surgery on my lower back and I'm in recovery. I recorded this tutorial when I could barely sit at the piano from pain. It is so important to do exercises for the whole body to prevent this! I was thinking I'll get away without these. But it is better to spend 30 minutes a day training your back, neck and shoulders than being in pain and not being able to play (and doing other things) with full energy for months because of neglecting the exercises away from the piano.

I am sorry to hear you have back problems. I am also having back and neck problems. Swimming in Warm water and hydrotherapy- exercises in the pool, building up the muscles are the best for recovery.

@@trinsiali7227 Thanks for the advice. The first month I'm not allowed to do exercises, just walking and slowly doing my things.

    Excelent.
Most players play the first part a little fast.

The RH E note appearing at the end of Bar 3 is E natural rather than E-flat, no?

No it is an E-flat in the Urtext. You can download the Urtext (Henle) version in the link in the description and see for yourself.
