I love the fact that you talk about spring in september. Thats great for us in the southern hemisphere. I'm tired of feeling that I live in reverse seasons from the rest of the world.
I’m wearing Ambre Narguille today (it’s a cool 87 degrees Fahrenheit here in Central Texas, ha!), and because it was sooo cinnamon-y and rich I decided so needed to sweeten it so so added Solstice Scents Estate Vanilla and omg…the drydown is smelling very chocolate cinnamon and I’m getting Gourmand Couquin vibes!
I love Chanel Paris Venise but nobody seems to wear it or talk about it very much on TH-cam. It is such a nice fragrance and deserves more love. I am off to Hawaii in December and Venise and Ylang Ylang Nosy Be will be coming with me 😊
Wonderful choices for a Hawaiian holiday Kellie! I wish I had thought to decant a little bit of Nosy Be, but I did bring about 30 small decants with me for only a weeks holiday so, I think I’m covered! 😂
Hello Cherie, We had a high of 21 degrees C today and that is considered really nice for an October day. (Feeling really lucky it's still that warm). The evenings are all ready down to below 10 degrees C and we have been getting some hard frosts. I really want to get a bottle of the Tonka Imperial and am saving up for it. To placate myself I have continued on with wearing Hypnotic Poison, which is more vanilla-almond but give similar vibes. I wore TF lost cherry to a flamenco guitar performance this past week. I tested Millar Harris Scherzo. I tested Guerlain Santal Pao Rosa and Ormond Jayne Ta'if. Thanks for sharing your rotation! - Jenn
@@TheTopNote It was reminiscent of Lancome's Oud Bouquet without the camphor/mentholated opening. It had a strong alcohol smell in the opening, that left to become quite a sweet, rose, western style oud. It felt fairly linear and had a small scent bubble that lasted quite well. I was told I smelled nice. I do think it is more sweet than I prefer my rose scents to be. I guess I expect a fresher rose experience, as some reviews I had seen made me presume that would be. I think it is touted at Miller Harris's best seller. I don't think you would enjoy it, based on what I know about your fragrance preferences. I have heard some of the older fragrances are better, reviews I have watched on Persolaise have suggested it. They only make limited amounts of those scents annually. Something interesting about them is that they have begun using some recycled materials in certain fragrances to be more environmentally friendly. They don't have a store in Canada, so testing their fragrances can be challenging. I had to order from the U.S.A. but happily was not charged duty on this one. - Jenn
Big rotation :) I wore Allure in my twenties, the edt which is more citrusy and the vanilla is not so strong, and I just purchased a bottle of the allure sensuelle also edt which for me is the same smell but with dried fruits and patchouli and I am enjoying it a lot. I am also wearing some ambery perfumes (decants) such as Tiger by her side, bengale rouge and ambre russe. Enjoying all of them now when it is geting cold in the north hemisfere. I am also loving Iris Malikhan from Crivelli.
Loved seeing your choices, Cherie! Thailand sounds amazing! I really want to visit there someday. I need to try my discovery set from Rogue. Still haven't smelled any of them. 🙈
Hey Tara The ones I love the most are the Tuberose ones so they may not be your cup of tea but he does have a rose one now which I haven’t tried but I’m very curious.about!

What an incredible discovery to layer those two! It’s cold here today - I may dig out gourmand coquin!

Some really gorgeous fragrances there 😍
Thats the problem, it makes selecting a "small" rotation really challenging! haha THanks Ines!
That’s a very impressive collection!! Great video. I’m male but this video makes me want to try a few here.

Ooh what did you think of Scherzo? I hear so much about it but I have still not tried any Miller Harris fragrances yet.

Quite a rotation Cherie! Have you tried the new Shalimar Millesime Tonka from Guerlain?
Hey Doni! No and the SA said we probably won’t get it over here :(
I wonder, how similar to the original Amazone is Rose Amazone? I have a feeling that they are quite different. Thank you for another great video!
My understanding is that they are quite different but I havent smelled the original either :)
