9:41 absolutely incredible! Also this camera setup is a beauty, incredibly sharp, compact and beautiful as well. 15 shots per roll is also freakin amazing 📸🎞️🤝
Just got my M645 1000s in June and It came with the 80mm f4 macro that was stuck at infinity. I just repaired it this week and can now focus closer than 10ft without using f22. Using it currently for a fall foliage project. Very reliable once I started firing the shutter more often. Great video new subscriber! 😊
Some great shots, as always. The 1000S was my first MF camera ten years ago, a real solid shooter. I saw a TH-cam a month or so ago about a guy effecting a simple mod on a 220 film insert. It was stupidly simple and got you 16 frames per 120 roll.
You've got me thinking about trading in my ProTL for an M645 so I can use a release cable without having to buy the overpriced adapter. Lol. Really great work! I loved the progression of the images and how they got more minimal in composition as you went. Those last few images were really tight.
Dude, some VERY nice shots in here, really enjoying following along with this project. But for all that is holy and good in the world, please get a real tripod. Buying a new tripod: not sexy. Seeing your camera fall to the ground with a very loud clang: super not sexy. I don't want that for you. Looking forward to the next vid.

15 shots should hopefully be plenty for me to get one I like…? Right…? Right!?!
@@alexwahoski hey! I didn’t say anything about liking it…….👀
Nice go! Great angles, night photography is so fun. Live the mamiya too! Cheers on your film adventure!
Thank you so much!

I bet that lens is absolutely gorgeous for macro work. Would love to see some of the results! Thank you!!
Great shots Alex! the 645 is a brilliant camera enjoy yours! If you can find a 220 film holder you can squeeze out 16 shots 😉
Thank you so much! I’ll have to keep my eye out for one! Would love a 16th frame, haha

Thank you so much! I'll look for that video and see what I can make happen!!

I haven't had my hands on a ProTL yet, but I've really enjoyed the simplicity of the 645 so far!
@@alexwahoski We can always go for a photowalk sometime and trade cameras for a roll or two. Would be fun
There are some awesome shots in here! Be careful with that loose prism. I’ve heard stories of critters making their way inside the prism.
Surely that story wasn't from someone we know...
Great choice on camera. Your tripod is stressing me out. I dont know that id trust my camera siting on that thing.
Unfortunately, it contributes to my stress level as well, haha. Should upgrade it sooner than later...
@@alexwahoski there are some basic but solid Chinese tripods available for about 70 bucks that I use without issue
I heard about great camera Mamiya... Gorgeous night scene photos 🎉
Photo at 8:30 is very Todd Hido
He is quite the inspiration, thank you so much!
I had the Pro TL and it was possibly the smoothest camera I’ve ever used, but once you go 6x6 and above, the 6x45 format just feels too small
At this point I just shoot my 645 in place of my 35mm cameras - lovely vid!
Thank you! It is a bit of suitable replacement for that, and even for the time being, it's also more or less my 35mm replacement as well.
fine, ill subscribe. underrated camera!
I really like your compositions. Great tonality and colour. What film were you using?
Good stuff! can you tell me what phone app you are using as a meter?
Sirui carbon fiber tripod $99 on Amazon. Have had it forever.
Which lens did you use...and what film? Great video...im looking fwd to my first night out shooting with my 1000s
Thank you! All of these were Portra 800 on the 55mm 2.8. It was great for night, so I hope you enjoy!

My camera's demise would be rather... unsexy. I will have a new one in the mail by the end of the day, haha. Thank you!
Night photography is not great by yourself, hence why I never shoot it.
I dig your photos, But your tripod takes away all of your photographer street cred.
