    Our second tutorial video this year on a technique that is SO important and barely any resources exist teaching a player how to perform it! The slip drift is something you'll see being used in a plethora of the Mario Kart Wii world records because it's a key component in fast mini turbo execution.
    Now that I've made tutorials on delayed drifting and slip drifting, next up will probably be low tricks.

    At last!!!
    Combine your delayed drifts with your slip drifts and you'll be much faster on the track just like the world record holders!
    NOTE: You can do this technique on any controller.

      Every Mario Kart Since DS has it's own Tech (Not counting MK8DX)
      You can Snake Drift in Mario Kart DS
      You can do A LOT of stuff in Mario Kart Wii
      and you can Firehop in Mario Kart 8 (Wii U)

    • @Tom-vx7qh
      @Tom-vx7qh 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@seba2366 I think you have misunderstanding about drifting in other games. Double Dash also has snaking, as well as different types of drifting based on karts. And all Mario Karts afterward have delay drifting and slip drifting, which is especially useful for DS because it gives you more control over your drifts. I can't say about 64 and earlier because I don't have as much experience with those games, and I'm not going to assume what it can and can't do, but you really oversimplified the rest of the games besides wii, only outing one particular technique.

    I find it so hard to make the game register my wheelie in between the drifts when playing on Nunchuk. It such a minor window and the "Throwing up your Wii-Mote" is so inconsistent imo.

    • @Jzombi301
      @Jzombi301 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ripex same but I actually have no problem chain drifting without wheeling in between at least when it comes to drifting from one side to the same side like around a tight corner. But chain drifting from one side to the other is a little bit harder. You just gotta be quick with it.

    • @Jzombi301
      @Jzombi301 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ripex maybe to practice you can practice wheeling immediately after drifting with a little quick flick and then start drifting again. Then practice getting that timing between where you wheelie and start your second drift shorter and shorter

    • @larry702
      @larry702 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It's fine on nunchuck for me, I think one of the biggest things with it is being familiar with the fact that you really don't have to move the mote far at all, a few centimetres is enough if you're precise and I don't wanna say forceful... Intentional.

    • @stort3878
      @stort3878 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Let it be known that there is another way to perform a chain drift, but it's much more situational and a lot more difficult.
    You can chain drift into the opposite direction with this method, but not the in the same direction.
    What you have to do is start a mini turbo, then realease it and quickly flick your analog stick the other direction and press R again. And if you've timed it correctly you should perform a slip drift.
    The timing is rather tricky though, making this an inferior technique to the one mentioned in the video. And like I said, it's rather situational, barely anybody uses this technique, and I wouldn't recommend using it, but I think it's a fun little fact that fits in the context of this video.

    • @TWD98
      @TWD98  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      DaNoobyGamer it’s the same for nunchuck. Just replace R with B. Same for the wheel along with the analog for motion
