Beautiful. Thank you so much. How fitting that I was carving an icon of the Theotokos as the burning bush, with Christ enthroned on her lap while listening. I was always attracted by this icon which says in an image what you were discussing. ❤

1:39:28 That's exactly what was thinking recently. God's mercy in His hiddennes. As the people of Israel told Moses: you speak with God, we don't want to die. And that's why Apostle Paul receaved a heavy responsibility and yoke, not really that mercy, by being approached by Christ, and said: woe to me if I don't preach the gospel!

I'm pausing right here. Just 2 minutes and 42 seconds in to say I'm listening to you guys and I'm not even sure who's put in who or what? 😂

I think we need to hear more midlife crisis do's and don'ts...

39:50 That's a good point. As a revelation from the infinite God, Christianity could or should leave room for countless ways of understanding and explaining the mysteries. But, on the other side, I was thinking that, if Orthodox Christianity is true and the truth, shouldn't also have the answers and the explanations for all the questions and issues, whether scriptural or theological, so that it leaves no room for dounbts or for rejections? I could give a couple of examples, but I'm just saying it now. Or, maybe, this is also God's plan and another characteristic of the true faith, to not just provide all the answers and explanations, so that the faith of the believers and of all people be tested? That would seem strange to me, maybe even unfair, but I don't know.

1:30:10 But, if Jesus always bore himself like a Jew, did He really had long hair, considering that Paul later said that it's shameful and unnatural for a man to wear long hair? Except, of course, if Jesus was keeping a nazirite vow. Which means that he never drank wine and ate grapes? At the last supper he didn't seem to imply that, but that He drank wine, but he won't drink it anymore until God's kingdom comes. Or, was his nazirite a reason why he refused to drink the vinegar on the cross, after he tasted it? (which makes me wonder now why did He even tasted it, if he, as God, knew what was there? Is there any Church Father explaining this?)
And, as a side note, I've heard a Father monk from Athos saying, in one of his video's here on TH-cam, that Christ and Virgin Mary had blond hair and blue eyes. Does anybody knows anything about that?

Love the pagan painting of the false messiah flashing pagan hand gestures.... Thats cherry.

It’s a painting of Jesus Christ making the IC XC gesture, which is his name and title - Jesus Christ.
Calling this icon pagan is basically just calling Christianity paganism. It’s such an empty use of the word “pagan” it loses any and all meaning. If a religion that is diametrically opposed to paganism is also paganism, then everything is paganism.

Perhaps long hair was considered longer back then than long hair is considered today?
