Mainstream science loves to call anything they dont want to aknowledge (supernatural) and disregard it biasly.. but non mainstream science constantly proves traditional spiritual teachings are correct
being pragmatic, in order to wake up from our dream state. we have to find the awakened ones to help us wake up within the dream state that we are in right now. many did it through meditation, one good way to do it, but to be honest not the optimal way to wake up upon death or even before death during this life time. If we don't find the awakened one to tell the way to wake up but end up learning from sages who aren't awakened yet, think twice. In meditation, even in deep levels, no normal mortal can identify the awakened state in meditation. Only the awakened one knows the way. He came and left this teaching to achieve full awakening, i.e, completely reconnect to the host or the ultimate underlying nature, or complete awakened state. Who is he ? in this world, there is only one. Search for it. He is from India. Read his teaching thoroughly and you will find the way. Make sure to read thorough. if you are still unsure after reading them, it would mean you have missed a big part of his teaching. You will rejoice if you have read thoroughly. The more you try to understand the awakened state through wordy explanations, the more you will be shrouded the images of words which cannot in the slightest sense help us realize the awakened state.

'I Am' is the Way and the Truth and the Light. Call it Jesus if you want but it is the reality of each and everyone of us. In that Beingness lies the Stillness and the Peace that passeth all understanding. The deepest, in the moment realization which we can all have without reference to any book is that "I Am" and that this "I Amness" is the only constant, the only experienced which has been with me throughout the years and as such is timeless. The body and the mind and the events of life are forever changing but "I Am" is always with me, always the same. It is more "me" than anything else that I can point to for anything else is bound to change but not "I Am" which is a fundamental fact, I could lose both of my legs and be confined to a wheelchair and the "I Amness" that "I Am" would remain unaffected.
PS: the purpose of self inquiry (who or what am I?) Is to continually return us to this basic truth of Existence. The process serves to dissolve our identifications with thoughts and images of who and what we take ourselves to be and in so doing return us to our natural state. We might say, that true freedom is attained when we no longer have an image of ourselves to hold up and defend :)

Good question William. I believe he answers this at 10:38 where he states that "...the unified quantum field is a field of intelligence..." being such, nothing would happen "spontaneously" - there is an intelligence behind it.
So where/what exactly is the theory that posits (let alone "proves") the existence of the dreamer? I won't hide my skepticism, but I am genuinely curious.

What the ancient yogis taught is that skepticism is healthy, but only if followed by a determined effort to replicate the yogic experiment, which is to discover the Dreamer not through philosophic theorizing but through realization. It's difficult to see beyond our human level energy. The dreamer of this universe is one thing. My dream my life is created by me? Limited and not so clear because of our unconscious pasts. All I know is there is a power that I'm connected to to create AND I dream my dream here. Decisions / Will / Opportunities etc. Life choices. I don't have full control because of this duality reality but I can slowly evolve to better realms.

I don't know how anyone can talk about quantum physics and not mention Nikola Tesla. Maybe Shunya doesn't have a full understanding of this subject.
