What an incredibly callous and hurtful comment. Paula and our late mother and father and our brothers would beg to differ with anyone claiming we’re not sisters. Seeing my sister in a coma, on death’s door, was one of the scariest times in our family’s life. I hugged her husband Bill and her son Zac and our brother Bill (yes, two Bills in the family!) as we cried and agonized trying to decide what was the best for Paula. And yes I did sing to her, and talk to her, and hold her hand, and stroke her arm and hair. I felt very strongly that she was, indeed, “still in there.” But the doctor at the trauma center forewarned us that although Paula might live, we should not expect her to ever walk or talk again, to ever be able to live outside of a care facility. But she did, particularly under the care of skilled and compassionate people at the trauma center and later at the rehab facility. Yes, it’s true that her life changed in irrevocable ways, but she has also thrived. Paula, my dear sister, I’ll love you to the ends of the earth, and I’ll sing “Goodnight, Irene” whenever you wish! ❤

My grandfather is in hospital right now in a coma with a 4 on GC Scale and I don't even know what to expect. These videos bring me hope, but doctors say there's no chance

Don't lose hope. I heard a story about someone with a GCS of 3 who survived and returned to a fairly normal life.

At age of 25 years old , i drank 16 Litres of water in 16 hours .
I was drinking 1 Litre of water after every 1 hour . Then i suffered from LightHeadedness .
I have suffered brain damage . My ability to understand and think have decreased . Please help please
