He got on the court with his son to live out his dream. There really wasn’t a big hoopla about it. Let it go, you could have left him in the G league until March / April 2025 and people would’ve been anticipating that special moment. This wasn’t it.

You knew dang well your son was not ready, you know the pressure you know society and you practically forced him into this situation. You were selfish and did it just so you can do the first father son nba duo. You’re supposed to want what’s best for your son,now for the rest of his career he will be constantly compared to his father and being a walking meme with his draft pic. You put him on blast in front of millions for your own selfish need. Bronny will be just like Michael Jordan’s sons out the league within a few years never able to keep up with who their father was

But to play devils advocate- A different lens to take. LeBron is a great father because he got his son set up with $8 mil. Even his career only lasts for 4 years. He got his son a contract people would kill for.
Shit, I wouldn't be surprised if bronny and LeBron laugh about it behind the scenes knowing they fleeced the Lakers $8m over 4 years.

Why are so many of these reporters and ex baseball player and ones that on the court are afraid to say that Ronny will never be a pro level player. He’s not a G league player. He’s not even a top high school player during his time in high school. They keep saying play him and he’ll get better. He’ll get better but he will never be a better G league player or a pro NBA player. LA Lakers were always a team about winning. Putting the best players on a team for championship. LeBron James has ruined the LA Lakers. And upper management is allowing this. In all sports it’s about putting the best players on a team to win. nobody remembers second third or fourth. Championships is the only thing that counts.

The fact that they drafted Bronny James is a clear indicator that the Lakers never had control of his situation or even cared to. I think it’s like parents funding a child’s hobby with the extent of their involvement being limited to just providing the means. In other words, leaving the child to his own devices beyond the financial contribution. The Lakers are the parent, Lebron James is the child, and Bronny James is the child’s hobby.

Money and fame has over corrupted lebron to a point that he is overstaying his welcome. He's acting as he owns the Lakers organization by abusing his power and it ain't about winning a championship, but only to use his son so he can be the first father and son playing together on NBA court. I have zero issues if bronny earned his spot on G league and then slowly transitioned into the NBA on his own after he got better, but that never happened. Lebron pushed and pushed till he got things done his way.

LeBron knew that Bronny reached his ceiling already. There was no more to be developed.
He already had access to better facilities and more expensive trainers than the Ball Brothers and yet Bronny was never even better than Jeremy Lin in HS.
There was no point wasting time. All that mattered was getting him on the court with pops asap. No point risking injury to either one of them.

No, Bronny isn't getting ROTY because he is getting IST MVP, All-Star MVP, 3-point contest champ, dunk contest champ, MVP, DPOY, WCF MVP, and Finals MVP. They will rig it and cheat him out of ROTY because they can't have him win all the awards in the same year because it would show he is already better than Jorgambler and LeDaddy combined. They are just a bunch of haters, how can you hate on the 👶🐐?

G league debut results were from 31 minutes. Other players off the bench did far more (+++ +/-) in slightly less time or a bit more in far less time.
If he sells out G league then guess that’s show biz. I’m not sure this situation would sell in Iverson’s or Sir Charles’ eras in Philly. Today, I don’t know; 76ers fans are still waiting for “The Process” to deliver a trophy.

Maybe it won't harm LeBron's reputation as a player. But as a person and as a father, LeBron looks like he is putting his own interests above that of his kid, of his team, and of all the young players, who could be in the spot instead of Bronny.
He's also disregarding the negative attention Bronny is inevitably going to get.

I was hoping that Bronny was going to improve over the summer and slowly find his way into being a role player in the NBA, that seemed like the most we could hope for. But I wasn't expecting it to happen, I was expecting him to flop just like he has.
I feel bad for the kid, he doesn't have the talent to be a pro baller and his parents, coaches and friends completely failed him by not telling him that.

In a large part. I guess his daddy is the real head coach and the General Manager of the Lakers. Bronny isn't good enough to play the away games of the G league. But daddy will have him on the bench so when and if the lakers are far enough ahead he could get a minute or two on the floor with old daddy. Great way to spend almost 8 million guaranteed.
