For those that don't realize that the National Anthem has four verses, the Chorus sang the fourth after the first: O thus be it ever when freemen shall stand Between their lov’d home and the war’s desolation! Blest with vict’ry and peace may the heav’n rescued land Praise the power that hath made and preserv’d us a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, And this be our motto - “In God is our trust,” And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
TheHGN2001 I was there singing and I can't remember. We did sing the second verse at times (I know because it sticks in my head) but the third verse is too vague in my memory to believe I sang it much, if ever. People to this day wonder how I know the other verses. Har! (and I always thought of this when I heard news about Operation Just Cause as we went into Panama.)
The album actually had no name, just a generic cover with the record pressing company's logo and name - RPC, Recorded Publications Company, Camden, NJ. It was just a custom pressing for purchase by the chorus members.
@@haroldfarthington7492 Well, if there were about 250-300 members of the Chorus, they probably pressed the exact number that signed up for it, maybe a few extra. You could try searching places like eBay or Discogs for a used copy that someone is selling.
My older brother was in the UD concert choir in 1972 and they toured Europe.

CrackersRme Yeah, I was there too. That's my head barely visible behind the trombone player! I was a sophmore, my first year at UDHS.
What’s the name of this LP?
