I'm finding more and more people with this opinion. Dixit isn't a game you attach a licence too. The art needs to be super abstract for it to work well.
@@noshelfspace I personally love the abstraction too (like Codename Pictures!) but @ianw0ng has a point - kids will surely engage with the Disney version and if they really really like the game, they’ll expand to the regular version. I’m also giving the Disney edition to my niece this xmas and she’s only 7 so i don’t want “too much” abstraction to frustrate her and not like the game. better she learns the hard way how to create clues that wins her points even if the Disney branding might introduce bias! I dunno - always an experiment with kids! which begs the question, have you tested yr theory playing both editions w actual kids?
