So thankful I found this curriculum to be our core! My kids are 4 and under so we can utilize it for the entire school years we have ahead of us!

You're the reason I'm here and just bought 3 levels of history and science from Generations today! Thank you for sharing this wonderful resource with us.

Hello! I'm investigating both this and AIG. What do you think about both?

We love AIG, but their new materials are mostly being written with the Christian school classroom in mind. Generations is written for the homeschool context.

@@familyrenewalllcpodcast9443 definitely! We use AIG at our church for Bible study nights and it’s made for a group/classroom setting. Generations is definitely more homeschooling.

I purchased Taking Asia and Taking Africa for Jesus for our kiddos, along with two of the science curriculums from Generations and and super excited to dig in next year.
We also have Worldviews in Conflict (I want to go through it myself) and the proverbs books. So good! Thank you thank you thank you for making these wonderful books to help educate our kiddos and love Jesus ❤️

Is there a way to use the history as
Family style ?? At least the elementary years ??

I'm planning to keep grades 1-5 together and rotate through with all my kids. Littles can listen easily and just narrate small pieces back while older kids can complete other work. You can add videos and other books as well for older kids if needed.

I do my 1-4 graders together currently and plan to until about 6th grade I think. We don't do many of the workbooks though currently, just read and discuss. We have separate LA, math, copywork (sometime use generations books for that/scripture) etc so don't want to overwhelm with too much writing. I feel I'll add in some of the workbooks for my 5th grader next year and increase gradually, so their ready to be more independent by 7th (in theory). In short, yes, we do the history and the literature together.

Do they plan on offering more elementary science?

    • @samanthagraveswalters8443

      They do now.

@@samanthagraveswalters8443 they still only offer one science book that can be used for grades 1-3. They don't have any other options for second and third if you use it for first grade. Starting in fourth they have a new book each year though.
