Well, I don't think Hatuun expected anything other than giving his life so that the others might escape. I mean, 'secretly' coming back to evacuate? While it's nice that you still have some hope left in regards to Blizzard's writing, but unfortunately I can only see it for what it has become: Bad, lazy and full of plot holes. The only possible explanation I can give to try and make sense of it is that after surviving for so long, Hatuun was starting to forget why he stayed behind in the first place and possibly starting to regret following Velen in the first place.
@TsunzucchiniTzatzikiSan Thats only your theory, Hatuun was ready to sacrifice himself not just for Velen, but for the survival of his race. Him expecting Velen to come back and risk the life of his people just to save them is nonsensical. Argus was the stronghold of the Legion, coming back would have been suicide. Hatuun probably wasn't happy with his situation, but he made a choice when he choose his people over his own life. A man like him shouldn't be angry at Velen because he "abandoned" them, he should be happy that his people were still alive, even if he and the others suffered for millenia. If Hatuun is mad at Velen because of this, he is a weak person
Luckily for everyone the Lightforged Army is VERY accepting of other cultures and religious practices and wouldn't at all submit entire planets to genocidal cleansings. Nor do they have a long and bitter history of endless war against the agents of the Burning Legion who have now been granted sweeping amnesty by Velen after a five minute sales pitch. A+ writing /s
So orcs with a different skin hue, big humans and gnomes with prostethics are standalone races, but demons with tens of thousands years worth of Fel mutations are a cosmetic option for the draenei. Okay.
Yeah, and we don't even get the cool felcracks that they are supposed to have in their hooves, hands, horns and tails. Also, no abs for female Man'ari, which they should also have. I don't get why Blizzard gives us these half-assed customization options, if they're gonna add Man'ari, give us Man'ari...the red skin tones are not even the same as the ones from WoD and Legion. Classic.
It’s very interesting to see how the choices and circumstances have effected all the different Eradar. Those who embraced the Fel: Man’ari Those who chose to Flee: Draenai Those who became Fallen: Krokul And those who kept Fighting: Lightforged
Indeed. They are all Eredar at the end of the day. Now things are full circle. Now, all four known major Eredar factions are on the same side for the first time since the fall of Argus. Hatuun clearly needs to meet Farseer Noboundo. It's good he saw Velen is not the same guy he watched flee the planet. I dunno. Maybe we'll see a new leadership team for the united Eredar: Velen (Draenei), Noboundo (Broken), Hatuun (Krokul) Captain Fareena (Lightforged) and Arzaal (Man'ari). I think now's the time for the Eredar to come together. Azeroth is their new home but a new mission could involve traveling the universe searching out other Man'ari seeking absolution as well as putting down those who continue their evil ways on other worlds. Could be interesting.
The man'ari should been the allied race and broken The customization, i dont know what people see of special on the broken at all, they will give horde a good allied race and for the alliance the broken, a weaker draenei
These interactions feel so dumb. Hatuun, the guy who said to leave the planet while he bought time, accusing Velen of abandoning him and his planet. And Velen left so many of his people behind that, only two choices remained for them. Turn to service or hide like Hatuun. When they did so, Velen bashes them for doing so while he was one of leaders.
Wasn't that thousands of years ago. I can imagine after all that time he could've become a bit bitter about his choice and is taking it out on Velen a bit, though unjustly.
Remember, he was literally stuck fighting the Legion on his dying homeworld for THOUSANDS of years, and he and those with him were warped nearly beyond recognition of who they were. Hatuun is probably not entirely in his right mind... and seeing Velen old, but whole and uncorrupted? That almost certainly roused incredible bitterness in Hatuun.
This makes me look more and more forward to the Draenei heritage armor. I can see it now. For the Draenei it would be confronting their past, and embracing their fallen to return to them to help build their future. Meanwhile the Trolls must all come together to unite under a new Loa.
@@Mrz-bq2yb I can already imagine it. Seeing Vol’Jinn sitting where Rezhan sat. Bwansamdi telling him, “alrighty then. I was getting tired of juggling two jobs anyway. It all be yours now “boss”. “
@@jameschristophercirujano6650 now it is time they fully embrace the new era. By confronting the scars of their past and accepting the grief caused by many of their own. At the same time fully embrace Azeroth as their new home.
They really need to build on this. This isn't a case of just "here's some brown skin orcs from that timeline we went to" or "here's some demon hunters who were imprisoned but now stand with us against the legion". The man'ari were literal demons who stood with the legion for thousands of years, two of the legions leaders in the absence of sargeras were eredar, so they score high in terms of placement in the legions ranks. You can't have something like death Knights being an issue joining the horde and alliance and yet gloss over this like it's nothing.
@@Palhum seems the only method of making this work is for some role-play elements for the individual to establish what their man'ari did while under the legion, and try to weave a plot around how they didn't do as bad as some others, how they doubted their actions, how they live in regret, all that shit, but without having examples made solid in the main story, it makes it all feel insubstantial, there needs to be a motivating drive behind man'ari going down this path, it needs to have other races reactions to them.
@@MrOrcshaman I kind of RP'd a similar thing with my Warlock pets after Legion. They were still enslaved to me, but they stopped resisting as much because there wasn't a Burning Legion to return to. They don't really care about whatever good deed I'm doing, as long as they get pointed at something to destroy. I played a Man'ari for a bit, and the way I rp'd them was very similar. For political reasons they keep up the image of trying to reform, but they really only care about getting to destroy things. If they have to act nice for the Alliance sometimes, so be it. It beats being stuck on a dead planet. But when no one is watching, they were as cruel as possible to mobs. In-game, they made a few changes. Gift of the Naaru has a fel effect to it for example. But I wish they really went all the way, as this is the first time we can play a truly Evil race. And yes, you could be playing one that is truly remorseful. But I wish Blizz really embraced that the Man'ari are mostly b@stards.
@@aidanc9396 Thats good and all for someone wanting to play an evil character. For me I've a thing for redeemed characters, in the eredar case thinking up how someone who is fel corrupted and red skinned looking like a straight up demon can go down a redemption arch, seen as a monster but working on trying to go down a right path.
I think something needs to come about like having the Illidari keeping them under STRICT watch. Until the Man'ari truly prove themselves, they should be be under a microscope.
@@warllockmasterasd9142 Yeah and I was talking about Void Lords. I mean from what we know so far, only Sargeras knows them or see them in their full peak of their hideousness. Which is why Sargeras's top priority is to kill Azeroth before the Void Lords corrupt it.
Ah yes For milennia, Arzaal fought for the legion, but now that the legion is defeated and the 2 biggest Eredar lords have fallen, now he sees the error in his ways... And the wise wise Velen accepts their aid after a 5 minute pep talk. Premium writing
Also how does the rest of fkn azeroth feel on this? Cause id be like hell no fuck those demons lol the nightborne at least had a faction they hid within the ranks to try and overthrow the legion from within. Like it was like op yep legion
The Nightborne was a whole diffrent Situation. The commoners had no say and the Nobles decided to side with the legion. Condemming or killing those who opposed. Most Nightborne just wanted to live qnd commited no planetary genocide for decades. Man'ari burned countless worlds, condemmed countless souls to fuel the fel magic they use. They had no code like the Illidari, no earned trust like faction warlocks who used the fel to fight threats. They are essencually war criminals on a planerary level, but ok cool join us.
@@mireiyu6623Welcome to playing a Draenei? Up until Argus Blizzard basically forgot they existed. They got to play stepping-stone to the Belves so they could get their shiny redemption at the end of BC, and they were absent from Wrath entirely and they stuck a stupid handwave quest in Borean Tundra to explain that oh no, a mind-controlled CO is sabotaging all efforts blah blah blah and he's telling the Draenei they're not needed. So they have zero part of the entire expansion.
That would have made so much more sense to add them, i mean broken were the original draeneï back in war3 until they changed it with BC (not a bad change in my opinion). They should have join right after legion instead of the "always been there but hidden on an island in plain sight" steampunk gnomes.
Anyone who doesn't care about looks in WoW is already playing the non elf Horde races. A Broken Alliance is probably going to see even less play than a male Pandaren.
This may be giving the writing too much credit, but I like to think that Velen was open to the idea of redeemable Man'ari because he was thinking about Rakeesh, and what he might have done had Rakeesh been the one to come and ask for a chance.
@@ZeoffArcaneOfficial Which is honestly speaks well of Velen as a person that he was willing to let go of that anger and bitterness and not hold onto it for millennia, though he had every reason to.
The Burning Legion committed omnicide on at least a thousand worlds. But one man'ari gives Velen a single piece of a holy crystal, and all is forgiven.
@TsunzucchiniTzatzikiSan The Void could never defeat the Light, however it can still destroy our universe. We would certainly be dead, even if the universe returned to its original state consisting only of Light and Void
@dartimes6048 Jailer was talking about something else. Not the void as the void is still apart of the "cosmos divided" spheal. That's Blizzard's way of saying that there is a multiversal threat that's worse than the void
@@Boss-ot1iy Considering how the playerbase already dislikes this "cosmic warfare" storyline (even though it was unavoidable), taking it to a multiversal level would be a huge backfire. A lot of people who defend the current storyline would no doubt change their opinions on it :D
Velen is such a great character. He fits very well into the narrative with death and decay and threats, with his kidness, forgiveness and wisdom as a hard counter, without being... ugh. All who wanders, is not lost.
What do the people think of this short quest line? It feels kinda crazy to be like “ok I believe you join us” but they are some ancient aliens beyond mere mortal understanding
On one hand, yeah... It seems like a lot of people... or at least some people just wanted to be able to play the Man'ari. On the other hand, it IS quite a leap of logic given what Man'ari is known for
I can see what you mean, but also remember that the alliance straight up worked with San'layn during BFA, has void elves, void corrupted elves that could possibly be agents of the old gods. So Prophet Velen pulling such a controversial decision to entertain some repentant man'ari makes sense to me to some degree. ITs also important to remember that at this time, the man'ari are not part of the alliance. I imagine lorewise Velen is just chilling out with some of them at the Exodar. We just get the customization and can run around as man'ari due to gameplay reasons, rather than lore ones. Its like how as a warlock player you can have your demons out in cities without getting bonked by the guard.@@Handepsilon
What players want: playable Broken or even Lost Ones harkening back to Warcraft 3. What players get: here is one allied race that's got some bling, and here's a palette swap.
If I was gonna write this, I'd make it way simpler. All the old demon dudes are dead. No one to forgive. But over tens of thousands of years, there have been loads of new Eredar being born, right? Could have just had 'our' Eredar being the younger generation that was just born into it and didn't have trillions of lives on their hands. Instead of being 30k year old monsters lol. Btw, not just lives, but souls as well. The Legion doesn't just kill people, they use their souls as fuel afterwards lmao.
I hate the way you edit the cinematic and cut scenes.. Chronologically the middle is the end, and in the end, you put an old cut scene. This is why i am not subscribed. Is a mess
LOL, imagine being a Man'ari, having endured tens of thousands of years of the Legion, and you walk up and lick the toes of some 19 year old douchebag human, in a city made of (stolen!) stacked rocks, going "MUH HIGH KING MLEM MLEM MLEM HOW MAY I SERVE, YOUR BLONDENESS, MLEM MLEM"
@@TheRusty + already their race is higly intelligent and very strong, with fel they became even more powerful. Now they are going to kill boars and kobolds, and yeah serve a depressed kid, who doesn't have a fraction of their experience and knowledge
You believing that the Man'ari would be welcomed not only into the Alliance but to Azeroth is already no better than Blizzard's writing team :D They had an important role in the Burning Legion, they are responsible for unimaginable suffering across the whole cosmos. Do you really think any race in the Alliance would tolerate them, let alone the Draenei? The Horde would turn their back at them too for that matter! Man'ari customisation options should have never been made canon in the first place. Even for cosmetic purposes, they are immersion breaking.
Comparing the Man'ari to the Death Knights or the Illidari is the stupidest thing I've ever seen, they're NOTHING alike Death Knight were risen and enslaved by the Lich King, and the Illidari used the Legion's powers against it The Man'ari are literally demon lmao
They turned it better than expected but we're still jumping some lore hurdles for the Man'ari to be redeemed. In the Draenic language, their name means "Unnatural" or "Corrupted". They chose to follow the Legion and annihilate planets and yet we're here at the end of it all with this guy saying he still has a good soul? That he did it out of fear? I suppose it's a bit realistic that one would fear their own death more than those of others but Eredar live a LONG time, their average lifespan is like 27,000 years. What I'm trying to say is that all those screams and horrors of what the Legion has done had to have gotten to him. On more than one occasion he HAD to have killed someone who was begging for their life or those of their family, perhaps children, but killed them anyway out of fear. Yet he never deserted the Legion, he kept murdering. Even if out of fear, this is WORSE than the Death Knights. At least the Death Knights were mind-controlled for most of it and the Illidari had a good cause but the Man'ari don't have either of those, they're straight up villains. They can't be redeemed.
I feel like they are probably going to be the key for future events. The Legions while they are evil, but they are also probably the one with most knowledge about Void Lords...... It is likely we will one way or another to work together in aim to prevent Void Lords to get whatever they want.
You might want to change this thumbnail as it's a bit misleading. . We got a set of eye colors, and 2 skin colors (red & darker red) for the existing Draenei. I just can't fathom how Blizzard would just skip on such a great customization idea other than they are wanting to refine it to bring it up to a certain level of quality.
@@Pigraider268 Both of them should've been a customization instead of an allied race, would've also made sense to have for example void elf customization to both high elves and blood elves.
well in a way Sargeras was right in his own twisted titan path to clensing the universe of corruption of the void he stray'd from the path and went on a mass genocide spree and honestly who can blame him i mean the corruption of the Old Gods on Azeroth was present and as he stated that if a slumbering Titan infused with the voids Corruption would mean the end of all of them he dident do it because he was mad he did it out of fear of another Slumbering titan (Azeroth) doesnt overthrow the original titans as for the Eredar ... they needed powerful commanders for the legion because the demons ... that were under his control were dumb as dirt so he saw potential in the Draenei and offered them power it made them blind to his deceptions in the final chapter of Kill'Jaden raid he expressed his disgust with Sargeras plan not coming to fruition and in a way allowed himself to be defeated to ultimately see Sargeras fail he said at the end if only i had you're vision ...maybe things would have turned out diferently ....but in a way he got his peace knowing Sargeras would be defeated ...also see people in the comment section throwing words left and right like ... this and that but they dont know the full lore about the Eredar (i mean the Alliance accepted blood elfs into they're fold as Void elves and you cant accept Eredar ?)
And there goes my hope of the Eredar joining the Horde as an allied race. A people adrift and without purpose after their master's defeat. Seeking a place for themselves in the world, in the universe. Unable and/or unwilling to rejoin with their kin in the Alliance, after being separated from them for many millennia (even longer from their perspective). Perhaps seeking allies of convenience for their own ends. And ultimately finding a place, even a home among the disparate, but united groups that make up the Horde. Like others before them. Forsaken, and the Blood Elves. Even the Nightborne, who found camaraderie with the Blood Elves that was not offered by the Night Elves. Velen may be willing to accept the defecting Eredar in their remorse. But would the rest of the Draenei be as welcoming? Velen could have been the bridge that brought the Eredar to the Horde, like how Caelia and Derek were brought to the Forsaken. Along with the undead Night Elves, risen during BFA. Oh ya, and the Broken we left behind on Argus. I'd almost forgotten about them after so long. They could have become an allied race for the Alliance.
Velen bringing up the Orcs in his comparisons made me realize that the Eredar and the Orcs have a lot in common. They were both corrupted (including in a lasting, visually apparent way) and manipulated by the Legion. Both lost their home world, much of their heritage and culture, and many of their people. Both knew only war and conflict, for a time. Both did horrible things while under the influence and control of the Legion. Atrocities which they cannot forgive themselves for. (That part makes them similar to the Forsaken too, now that I think about it. Who did horrible things while under the control of the Lich King.) In a journey to redemption for the Eredar, camaraderie between them and the Orcs could have been a vital pillar of support, and hope for them. But will that ever happen, now? Maybe time will tell.
@@generationtpaul did you maybe forget, that if orc lived that tragedy, it was just cause of the burning Legion, especially cause of an Eredar? Forsaken? also cause of the Burning Legion if they have to suffer their affliction. In Emergency case: it was all the Jailer's fault
@@diegodevitti2105 Specifically it was because of Kil'jaeden. And then the invasion of Azeroth by the Orcs was planned and facilitated by Sargeras. So as not to let the army Kil'jaeden had mustered go to waste. Ah, and the Lich King was also Kil'jaeden's creation. But, ya. That's my point as well. All of it ties to the Legion. The way these Eredar are presented makes it somewhat easier to resolve the issues you mention. These remorseful Eredar, prepared to turn over a new leaf, were coerced and tortured into serving the Legion. Death was probably a rather rare outcome for members of the Legion. Failure or betrayal was far more likely to be met with torture. And then being put back to work for the Legion. In addition, and perhaps more importantly; The Horde has had a history of grudges, reservations, and prejudices being set aside, or surmounted. I imagine many, if not all of the Forsaken were directly affected by the Orcish invasion of Azeroth before becoming undead. Many were probably displaced by Stormwind's destruction in the first war, and fled to Lordaeron. Many probably lost family, friends, and other loved ones to the first and second wars. And the Orcs probably weren't keen on working with humans and former members of the alliance at first, either. And that's without getting into the undeath, part. And suspicions that they could be agents of the Lich King. But they both became comrades, even friends. The Blood Elves probably didn't like the idea of allying with Trolls, due to their conflicts and grudges with the Forest Trolls. Or Orcs, who they also fought against before. And likely especially the Forsaken, who were previously part of the Scourge that scared their homeland, and desecrated the Sunwell. But they set those reservation aside in favor of securing allies who weren't the Alliance they felt betrayed and abandoned by. In favor of securing an alliance of convenience with a powerful group, which they likely assumed at the time would be temporary. Shortly after the Blood Elves joined the Horde, Sylvanas, being the former Ranger General of Quel'thalas, dispatched forsaken to aid the Blood Elves directly in the Ghostlands. And a traitor of Quel'thalas was brought to justice. By the conclusion of TBC, the Blood Elves too found a place among the Horde.
No faction should allow the Man'ari to join them out of the "good" ones in the canon story. Its hard to imagine someone who served the Legion for thousands of years, now suddenly want to join the "good" (our) side. The orcs were corrupted because of the Legion, the Draenei were almost wiped out multiple times because of them, and these are only two examples out of the many. They committed crimes that can't be compared even to real events, its that bad, how can anyone possibly forgive them? If they were really good on the inside, they would have ended their existence in the Twisting Nether millenia ago, since a rebellion wouldn't have achieved anything. Why don't we let the minions of the Old Gods join the Horde and the Alliance at this rate? They are not really different in terms of the horrible things they committed :D
*Why would Horde accept those demon scum? Don't you know the Orc history?* *Nightbornes would be pissed too.* *So think before you write stupid comments like yours.*
This is such bad writing, eredar never should of been a thing for customisation. They hunted the Draenei for tens of thousands of years across the stars and destroying everything in their path and all of a sudden Velen is good with them now because one red boy basically says " I didn't have a choice bro, now I do and I want to be good " that shit is like a soldier saying " Oh , well, I didn't mean to commit war crimes I was ordered to! " the soldier is still held accountable for their actions and punished accordingly there was nothing stopping these eredar from running away when sent on missions it's not like all of them were chilling on Argus living their best lives.
Not only do I hate Sargeras because of his treachery, but I also hate it when he mentions the Void because it rings "Void Lords" and I hate the Void Lords just as I hate both Sargeras and the Old Gods.
Damn... is it just me, or did that final voiced clip do the Draenei and their history dirty? I'd expected a much larger, better and more emotional rendition of the start of their exile.
They're destroying every aspect of the lore, it's unbelievable. Warlocks who serve the horde/alliance are already shunned because of their practices, even when they're siding with the good guys. Death knights had a hard time being accepted into either faction because of the atrocities they committed, even when they were mind-controlled. Demon hunters were imprisoned because they were seen as traitors for using the fel, even though they used it against the Legion. Hell, even mages were forbidden in the night elf culture for a long time for fear of what they could do with magic. And then, now, in a single conversation, all that the man'ari did is forgiven. Demons who tortured and slaughtered countless lives. The man'ari are DEMONS. Demon hunters are not demons and, if you read "Illidan", you'll know that their tattoos are made so that they can resist the influence of the demon they absorb when they become demon hunters, and soak fel magic. It takes a tremendous effort to do that. Some of the elves who try to become demon hunters get mad and kill themselves, or lose control and must be put down. And now Blizzard is telling us that a DEMON ITSELF will be able to control itself to live with others with honor? Give me a f***ing break. The man'ari are pure fel and lose their minds the moment they accept the legion's "gift". Remember the red orcs in TBC? It's the same thing. They became mindless monsters. Who in their minds would allow literal demons to join their ranks, demons who have CONSCIOUSLY (different from DK) tortured and murdered countless innocents? That's not poor, that's crap, lazy, disgusting writing. In the Blizzard golden era they'd write the story well which would naturally lead to new races joining the alliance and horde. Think about the Draenei themselves and the Blood Elves. Now it's the opposite: they crap on the story because they want to introduce a new race and don't know how, so they do whatever and then forcefully stick in the story. Well, you can't expect much after they made Arthas become a fart. This is dumb writing at its peak. Think about the most hated and dangerous creatures in the universe. I'd say demons and creatures of the void are some of the highest on the list. They're not dangerous just because of their immense power, they're dangerous because there was no talk with them, their sole purpose has always been to destroy and corrupt every form of life. Period. It has been like that since the birth of the Twisting Nether. And then you're telling me now that all is forgiven and that we can trust literal demons because ONE of them showed regret (which could very well be fake)? Imagine aliens come down to Earth and they torture, enslave, and murder people for generations. And that's not because they didn't understand human race or anything, it's because they're inherently evil. It's their nature. It's not something that can't be changed. And then suddenly one of them comes to the world leaders and say "gee guys I screwed up sorry let us be part of your world", and the world leaders would accept? And the people would be ok with it? Of course not. Trees can't stop being plants. It's in their nature. Demons can't be good. It's their nature, it has always been like that for the entirety of Warcraft lore. As I mentioned, all who deal with the fel have to be extremely careful and strong-willed so that the fel doesn't consume them - and there has been a fair share of accidents. Sure, there are exceptions here and there, but very rare and few. Lothraxion, for example, had to be lightforged to abandon his nature. But that's not something done lightly, or likely to happen - he's really an exception to the rule. He's the only known dreadlord that was brainwashed to join the Light (as far as I know, but even if he's not the only one, he's certainly one of very few ones). Then man'ari feel guilty and just decide to change? F*** off. And why would Velen decide to side with them? He literally spent his life fleeing and fighting them. It took him a long time to trust Illidan who was actually on the right side, and now he blindly trusts a man'ari just because he returned something that was his? I consider the Warcraft lore to have ended on Legion. A fit and good ending to it - Sargeras and the Legion are finally defeated and everybody can pack their stuff and go home. Every expansion after that was 99% shitting on the story. I'd really be happy if they just announced WoW 2 and started it from the point Legion ended (I know it's impossible, but).
Provided they're only lawfully evil at worst, warlocks may prove useful to the Horde and Alliance. Aalbeit generally taboo compared to most other classes, they've done their own good for Azeroth, like all other classes. Warlocks on their own are also generally not always complicit in the greater evils committed by the Eredar while serving the Burning Legion, such as destroying countless worlds in their burning crusade.
I still think the Broken should of been the Allied Race Instead of Lightforged. While we now have Warlocks for every Race. Back in the day It would of been perfect for us to have Broken Warlocks and Rouges
Again, wish they'd put it in the game, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Man'ari are allowed to walk free on a VERY short leash. What the Legion did and has done cannot be undone, and the consequences of that should not be tossed aside. Velen is trying to show mercy and compassion, but I'm sure he's worried he's being taken for a ride here. It wouldn't be the first time.
They use the Illidari and Death Knights as examples, but even Arthas and the might of the Undead Scourge at it's peak, pales in comparison to the atrocities of the Burning Legion. This is some weak ass reasoning.
I feel like the dreani, man'ari, and kru'ni have a chance at mending some bad blood. But adding light forged to the mix is having the dramatic one to the family reunion. They would have nothing but a supremist attitude and think everyone else is past redemption. "by holy fire be purged!"
This is terrible, why would any Man'ari have regret for what they have done? Even if they truly did, why would we recruit them to the Alliance? This is like if we skipped the Nuremberg Trials and said "oh its okay, its your leader's fault not yours".
He didn't even recruited them. No official decree, no NPCs wandering around. Demons are still killable in public, there is just small group of these who wants to do better and have contact on Velen. So no "Alliance drama". No demon have joined the Alliance. What gameplay allows wouldn't always pass in lore. This is just purely for flavour and Twitter upvotes. Also while I like saying that they are irredeemable, Kl'jaeden could sense doubt in his underlings and eliminate them. So the questline is a bit crap. Saying it as RPer who wants to RP this concept. We might see more in heritage. Not sure if I want to.
They are irredeemable, just because they had doubts about their actions, said actions won't dissapear. Considering how little information we actually have about the destruction the Legion brought to the universe, we can only guess how many crimes are the Man'ari responsible for. (its probably unimaginable)
@@tamas9554 That's what I said I like about it, that they are irredeemable, but apparently Kil'jaeden could sense doubts in his underlings and eliminate them. So one of them, Kil'jaeden or Arzaal is a liar, or Blizzard retconed and forgot stuff once again.
@@ShadowWolfRising Indeed, he is hooded and is hiding next to a warlock trainer in the darkest hole of Exodar (a ruined section with some Broken, who are 2nd class citizen and Draenei usually treat them like shit) like every warlock trainer (he is demon trainer), the actual warlock trainer was added previous patch and is treated like the old ones, they in dirties and shaidest places, hiding from authorities, they don't want to be seen, this just proves me that nothing has changed on perception of demons and warlocks. Demons are kill on sight and warlocks should keep their practice in secret.
Ok, now give us Felblood Blood Elves (Not San'Layn, they are distinct enough to be a New Race or Allied Race.), Fel Orcs (Some are already in the Horde.), Feltotem (Some of the Bloodtotem did not side with the Legion, maybe they could persuade them.), Felbourne (If everyone else is getting their Fel Counterparts, might as well throw them in. While we are at it, throw in Dark Rangers, easily explained as Sylvanas yoinking some of the bodies of either side during BFA.), And whoever else I might be forgetting.
Bli² believe that inventing new things is the only way to keep wow's universe fresh and exciting so they don't really exploit what their universe has laid down already. We end up with a gigantic idiotic mess that has no taste at all.
I'm really trying my best to keep on being a warcraft stan, but this story is stupid in every single way. Really now, the demon eradar who willingly embraced the legion, and who have spent thousands of years gobbling up entire worlds worth of souls in their use of fel magic, including those of their uncorrupted kin, are suddenly having a change of heart because "Halp! I was scawed >w
Such bad writing >.< "I cannot undo my crimes but I will give all I have to try." Let me fix that: "It's impossible for me to repent for my crimes. Instead, I'll do all that I can to atone for them." There, objectively better and carry the honest sentiment much more strongly.
This just looks stupid and badly written. Not every customization for characters in game need to be justified to lorewise fit you being alliance or horde... They could have just said- here's some cool eredar skins in case you want to look like a bad guy or roleplay something evil. Not all mogs make sense, so why should charater appearances?
Hey Alliance! You've got Dark Rangers and Man'ari among you, deal with it! You don't get to say it's non-canon until you get some bullshit "decree". You don't get to pick and choose just because you think it stains your 'good guy' image. ...You're not the good guys, by the way. Neither are we, but at least we don't think we are. The title says Ereder. It should say Eredar.
Hatuun: Take the others and go, Prophet. We will buy you time.
Also Hatuun: You left us behind!
Probably the fel magic rotted his brain lol

I don't get why Blizzard gives us these half-assed customization options, if they're gonna add Man'ari, give us Man'ari...the red skin tones are not even the same as the ones from WoD and Legion. Classic.
It’s very interesting to see how the choices and circumstances have effected all the different Eradar.
Those who embraced the Fel: Man’ari
Those who chose to Flee: Draenai
Those who became Fallen: Krokul
And those who kept Fighting: Lightforged
F life.

You can't have something like death Knights being an issue joining the horde and alliance and yet gloss over this like it's nothing.
here are these literal monsters who have burned literal souls of victims through countless worlds, "oops my bad can i join alliance pls"
What about the Broken Draenei? They've been around and helping us since TBC.

That would have made so much more sense to add them, i mean broken were the original draeneï back in war3 until they changed it with BC (not a bad change in my opinion).
Oh there's no doubt that plays into it. Velen being forced to kill *his own son* definitely played into his willingness to hear Arzaal out.
Velen was basically all but willing to forgive Kil'jaeden in his last moments, so it's not really surprising.

Who did horrible things while under the control of the Lich King.)
In a journey to redemption for the Eredar, camaraderie between them and the Orcs could have been a vital pillar of support, and hope for them.
Don't you know the Orc history?*
*Nightbornes would be pissed too.*
*So think before you write stupid comments like yours.*

Not only do I hate Sargeras because of his treachery, but I also hate it when he mentions the Void because it rings "Void Lords" and I hate the Void Lords just as I hate both Sargeras and the Old Gods.
Who asked?
Damn... is it just me, or did that final voiced clip do the Draenei and their history dirty? I'd expected a much larger, better and more emotional rendition of the start of their exile.
Legion classic when?
Now we just need a Broken Draenei Face Texture then all will be right
They're destroying every aspect of the lore, it's unbelievable.
But nobody bats an eye at warlocks being tolerated...
👍👍
Oh, and if only we got the felpoxed skins, that would have been sweet, but nooooo just like the dracthyr they sidestep what we actually want
Man i mis legion soo bad
Blizzard will do literally everything in their power to NOT give their players the Fallen Draenei as a race.
Should have joined the Horde
Argh legion so much more story told in game. Dragon flight is doing okay but I still feel it needs more.
*What are you talking about you clown?! DF is in it's last few patches!*
@@Kbelikar I wish it wasn't the last option, but it wouldn't be surprising LMAO!
Apparently one is a Warlock Trainer in Exodar.
How the fck they gonna use the Gift of Naaru LOL??? Or any Light magic of any kind.
Apparently they get an alternate one in terms of visuals.
The quest...
for unlock, was pretty bad in comparison to like the Dark Ranger or the Night Warrior customisation...
So leader of this friendly man'ari has fel cracks but blizzard didn't give it to the players. What a joke)
WHAT?!
Velen and the Draenei are awesome characters/race/ story but this is dumb. Should of recruited the broken and made Draenei Demon Hunters instead, smh.
Skin available Also for lightforged drenai ?
I'm really trying my best to keep on being a warcraft stan, but this story is stupid in every single way. Really now, the demon eradar who willingly embraced the legion, and who have spent thousands of years gobbling up entire worlds worth of souls in their use of fel magic, including those of their uncorrupted kin, are suddenly having a change of heart because "Halp! I was scawed >w
Blizzard can't even spell. Truly, the old wow team is gone forever.
please change the thumbnail...
it's making me act up!!!
So instead of giving players what they want, being the broken as an allied race, instead we get red dranaei, yep Blizz is out of touch.
Lol, there is no way this makes any sense lore-wise.
Didn’t Velen and kiljaedn sleep together lore wise? That’s why he cries for kiljaeden after. Canon is Velen is gay even though it’s not openly said
They were also brothers too lore wise it was a combination of fel energy/sodomy/incest that transformed kilijaeden to eredar
it is funny there is a human in argus like seriously it makes no sense at all
Lore in toilet paper. HAVE MERCY 🤡🤡🤡🤡
Such bad writing >.<
"I cannot undo my crimes but I will give all I have to try."
Let me fix that:
"It's impossible for me to repent for my crimes. Instead, I'll do all that I can to atone for them."
There, objectively better and carry the honest sentiment much more strongly.
The "looks" wasn't really needed in the first sentence :D
WoW lore is dead to me.
This makes zero sense lmao
This is the start of the death of velen, trust me.
Blizz decides what's canon and what isn't, not some fat nerd who thinks nothing's official without a "decree".
Dark rangers are a part of the Horde my friend, seems people like you really pay attention to the story :D
@tamas9554 technically now they're a part of both. Another example of shit blizzard writing.
the dark rangers are the horde then undead night elves are those that joined after the forsaken mind controlled them.
