Where you hit the nail on the head for me, and showed that you are EXACTLY like me, is when you said it's cool to have a band that you cab get excited about again. That's exactly how I felt when I discovered them at the start of last year, and I still do. I haven't been excited about a new band for 20 years, but Lovebites have come along and totally blown me away. I can't get enough of them, and it's fantastic to watch the reactions of two people who feel exactly the same way I do.
I have been trying so hard to get these bogus radio DJ's to give Lovebites some playtime but to no avail, because they are not part of the mainstream garbage they are being fed by the music corps. So, this is how we have been trying to get more and more true believers and reactors to jump on the Lovebites bandwagon. trust me there are to many reactors who don't care about true talent yet only want views, subs, and the algorithm and making their channel popular. Many reactors love to hear themselves than to hear true talent. Reactors like you guys are a rare commodity, believers who show their true emotions when they witness something they have missed for the longest time. Whenever I tried to set some reactors straight I got a lot of backlash from the very wolfpack as they sided with the bogus reactors who are only in it for themselves. We need more folks like you out there end of the discussion. The backstage documentary is about the FOAK tour that was filmed last year and some of us got to see it in July of last year with the ladies of Lovebites as a watch party with the fans, FOAK concert was 18 songs 1:54 minutes long so about 2 hours of pure bliss and mind-blowing songs.

I talked with a friend of mine who was an executive at Spotify, and he said there's no hope of getting radio play for stuff like this because they have strict formulae for what they play. 3-minute songs (4 minutes max), for one thing. There are a handful of stations that play metal, but even they have to stick to what the big labels feed them. Only indy stations can go off the reservation, and they have a hard time surviving.
Let's be honest, it's not just the music industry here. It's the audiences. I have friend in my generation who literally do not know that Led Zeppelin ever did another song besides "Stairway to Heaven". The younger generations who were interested in music with an edge went first with grunge and then hip hop; but most people want baby formula, so that's what the big labels feed them.

There are two phenomenal ultra speed rhythm parts. Haruna's drumming again is divine. And the worst thing is that after the solo harmonies when you think it's going to end they give you another one!
There has never been a band - until Lovesbites - where I liked every single one of their songs. They just never disappoint. Every single song is different from every other song; I never get bored. Now days, every band has one formula and they just change the words for the next song. Not Lovebites. They could make their songs simpler and easier to write, but they always go the extra mile and put in transitions that you're not expecting. After you've reacted to most of their songs, I recommend that you buy their "Five of a Kind" DVD. Two hours of non-stop live music. I watch it all of the time, and I'm exhausted after watching it.

Japan is just so fucking behind in terms of promoting their musicians to the global market... We are lucky enough we can find a lot of artists in spotify... i remember a few years ago, like 5/6, it was almost impossible finding any japanese music on music streaming platforms. The girls are trying to break out, they sing in english just so they can be heard everywhere, but their label doesnt lift a single finger to help them. Edit: Correction* they do lift a finger, to block reactions, that are one of the few ways we can help spread the word of lovebites...
They (Japanese Labels) seem unwilling or unable to make deals with Western or other companies to promote their great assets. It is hard to do subtitles if you are not equipped to do them. There are plenty of companies that can do them easily if you partner with them and strike the deal to share a % of the profit, but then again maybe that is the issue....sharing. You can't share your great bands unless the label learns to share or adopts a different model to get your assets out there.

What makes Miho's departure all the more disheartening is that she's the one responsible for putting Lovebites together in the first place. If it weren't for Miho, there'd be no Lovebites. I know it must be really de-moralizing to the other girls, especially Haruna as they were former "Destrose" bandmates when Miho talked Haruna into coming out of retirement (I'll leave a link to a Destrose tune below in case you're interested in seeing Miho and Haruna "pre-Lovebites"). But all we can do is wish Miho our best and gives the others the time they need to re-group and take their rightful place among the greats. Like so many great Japanese bands (Asterism, D_Drive, Mary's Blood, Aldious, Nemophila, etc...) low views and even lower subs. Then again many of the great bands out of Africa are even more ignored (Myrath (Tunisia) or Rash (Kenya)). There is so much talent out there it is impossible to be able to ever hear it all, but at least try as YT does make it easy (I complain about YT all the time, but give credit where due, thanks to it we can find music we would never ever find on our own). The anime show VLADLLOVE (not anywhere near Claymore or Monster) it is so-so but it has Lovebites doing the theme that gives you real cred!!! Guitar solos are not supposed to be done in Anime Themes, LB "hold my pic"....(LOL). This band would be declared a monopoly here in the States, sadly with Miho going it has been broken up but not stopped, just reloading we hope.

Funnily enough I've never seen the full band version because this is actually the opening track for the anime "Vlad Love".. Seek out the second video to see that. Additionally they have played rock stages before now.. They played in a UK metal festival (I believe) the year before last. They should be getting much better exposure though.

Nobody with the exception of the OG crews like Iron Maiden and Helloween who are still doing it at double the ladies age. There are other great bands Mardelas, The Warning, Band Maid and others but man watch out for The Warning over the years. 3 sisters from Mexico who are 20 18 and 16 and have 3 albums under their belts.

Where you hit the nail on the head for me, and showed that you are EXACTLY like me, is when you said it's cool to have a band that you cab get excited about again. That's exactly how I felt when I discovered them at the start of last year, and I still do. I haven't been excited about a new band for 20 years, but Lovebites have come along and totally blown me away. I have been trying so hard to get these bogus radio DJ's to give Lovebites some playtime but to no avail, because they are not part of the mainstream garbage they are being fed by the music corps. So, this is how we have been trying to get more and more true believers and reactors to jump on the Lovebites bandwagon. trust me there are to many reactors who don't care about true talent yet only want views, subs, and the algorithm and making their channel popular. Many reactors love to hear themselves than to hear true talent. Reactors like you guys are a rare commodity, believers who show their true emotions when they witness something they have missed for the longest time. Whenever I tried to set some reactors straight I got a lot of backlash from the very wolfpack as they sided with the bogus reactors who are only in it for themselves. We need more folks like you out there end of the discussion. The backstage documentary is about the FOAK tour that was filmed last year and some of us got to see it in July of last year with the ladies of Lovebites as a watch party with the fans, FOAK concert was 18 songs 1:54 minutes long so about 2 hours of pure bliss and mind-blowing songs.

And sadly I am with you on this... if it doesn't sound like auto-tuned strip club music, it won't be mainstream enough. As for the other reactors... I am sure that there are PLENTY who do specific bands for more views etc... and I am happy to say that we can NOT include ourselves in the bunch. If Brewster or myself don't feel the band, we won't publish our reaction! I talked with a friend of mine who was an executive at Spotify, and he said there's no hope of getting radio play for stuff like this because they have strict formulae for what they play. 3-minute songs (4 minutes max), for one thing. There are a handful of stations that play metal, but even they have to stick to what the big labels feed them. Only indy stations can go off the reservation, and they have a hard time surviving.
Let's be honest, it's not just the music industry here. It's the audiences. I have friend in my generation who literally do not know that Led Zeppelin ever did another song besides "Stairway to Heaven". The younger generations who were interested in music with an edge went first with grunge and then hip hop; but most people want baby formula, so that's what the big labels feed them.

There are two phenomenal ultra speed rhythm parts. Haruna's drumming again is divine. And the worst thing is that after the solo harmonies when you think it's going to end they give you another one!
I like the combo with Haruna and the 2 guitarists.
There has never been a band - until Lovesbites - where I liked every single one of their songs. They just never disappoint. Every single song is different from every other song; I never get bored. Now days, every band has one formula and they just change the words for the next song. Not Lovebites. They could make their songs simpler and easier to write, but they always go the extra mile and put in transitions that you're not expecting. After you've reacted to most of their songs, I recommend that you buy their "Five of a Kind" DVD. Two hours of non-stop live music. I watch it all of the time, and I'm exhausted after watching it.
Ralph Boyer, I have to say that I fully agree! Every song that we hear gets better and better! We really want to sink into their discography, but we are doing it slowly with our reactions. They make their music sound fresh and original, and this is one of the main reasons why we love them so much! Plus when you watch them, you can see that they are having fun! The musicianship is untouchable, and we are excited to dig in to more!!!

Yes, Asami is amazing, and adapting to Metal quickly! btw, I think you mean THRASH (not "trash"), which is the genre of Metal I think you are expressing. In English the word "trash" is what you don't want and throw away, reject, garbage, unwanted. English can be confusing. Changing one letter can make a big difference.

Japan is just so fucking behind in terms of promoting their musicians to the global market... We are lucky enough we can find a lot of artists in spotify... i remember a few years ago, like 5/6, it was almost impossible finding any japanese music on music streaming platforms.
The girls are trying to break out, they sing in english just so they can be heard everywhere, but their label doesnt lift a single finger to help them.
Edit: Correction* they do lift a finger, to block reactions, that are one of the few ways we can help spread the word of lovebites...
They (Japanese Labels) seem unwilling or unable to make deals with Western or other companies to promote their great assets. It is hard to do subtitles if you are not equipped to do them. There are plenty of companies that can do them easily if you partner with them and strike the deal to share a % of the profit, but then again maybe that is the issue....sharing. You can't share your great bands unless the label learns to share or adopts a different model to get your assets out there.

Hey guys! Love your reactions! I feel the same way, haven’t been this excited about a band in a LONG time!! ANYWAY….
Lovebites has TWO official online stores. One is under the official “Lovebites.jp” website. That is for Japanese orders ONLY. All other orders (not from Japan) are handled by a different, third party, website - “Lovebites.booth.pm” (I’m figuring that this is where your confusion lies.)
OK, now on the Lovebites.booth.pm website, there are 2 payment options - “Buyee” or “Tenso”. Think of those two as a substitute for PayPal. Choose one of those sites, register, insert CC info etc.. and then you can pay for your merch. (I chose Buyee, because it was the first one listed, no other reason.)
So simply:
1 - Go to the Lovebites.booth.pm website
2 - Chose the merch you want, and add it to the cart
3 - Upon checkout - sign up/register for “Buyee” and pay for it.
4 - Not long after, (maybe a day) you’ll get an email saying that they have secured your order. (Have the merch in their possession set aside for you)
5 - Then, they’ll send you another email detailing the shipping options (using “Buyee” to make the transaction)
6 - Chose the option you prefer, and sit by the mailbox!!
So - yeah. Your ONE purchase MAY take two transactions. (That’s what I’m doing with a pre-order)

All the above. I used Buyee for many an order. Once it arrives at Buyee and shipping is paid it is usually here in 3-4 days. There are limited editions with bonus stuff. Electric Pentagram has a limited with 3 CDs, the Bonus is 2 cds of a live show, the other has a DVD of their Wacken show in 2018, Clockwork Immortality has a limited version with a Blue Ray concert in it.

Try song Burden of time - live studio. Miyako plays guitar and piano at same time, oh yeah! She is playing hammer on power chords on guitar , backing Midori solo, but she's playing a piano run at same time. Great song, in my top songs of all time. Scream for me live in studio, it great as back and forth solos. Edge of the world is a journey. You may love the band Nemophila just as much, a hard rock metal band of women. Hair bangers. Love them just as much, they formed late 2019, so limited songs, as their doing an album. They have some Fps. Their songs Raitei, do music video. Raitei means thunder, and what a thunderous finish. Songs Dissension and Oiran live at Neon Ya on 2021. Singer Mayu does some screams. Nemophilas multiple lead guitarists. Saki right there with Miyako, incredible guitarist. Love Nemophila.

What makes Miho's departure all the more disheartening is that she's the one responsible for putting Lovebites together in the first place. If it weren't for Miho, there'd be no Lovebites. I know it must be really de-moralizing to the other girls, especially Haruna as they were former "Destrose" bandmates when Miho talked Haruna into coming out of retirement (I'll leave a link to a Destrose tune below in case you're interested in seeing Miho and Haruna "pre-Lovebites"). But all we can do is wish Miho our best and gives the others the time they need to re-group and take their rightful place among the greats.

Like so many great Japanese bands (Asterism, D_Drive, Mary's Blood, Aldious, Nemophila, etc...) low views and even lower subs. Then again many of the great bands out of Africa are even more ignored (Myrath (Tunisia) or Rash (Kenya)). There is so much talent out there it is impossible to be able to ever hear it all, but at least try as YT does make it easy (I complain about YT all the time, but give credit where due, thanks to it we can find music we would never ever find on our own). The anime show VLADLLOVE (not anywhere near Claymore or Monster) it is so-so but it has Lovebites doing the theme that gives you real cred!!! Guitar solos are not supposed to be done in Anime Themes, LB "hold my pic"....(LOL). This band would be declared a monopoly here in the States, sadly with Miho going it has been broken up but not stopped, just reloading we hope.
Night Wish... Yes... I completely agree!!! I lived overseas for 11 years, so I got to enjoy music from all over!!! We are excited to see who they will get as a new bassist. We have been holding out hope that perhaps Miho will be able to come back to the band. But if not, we are sure they will get someone who is a beast!

Funnily enough I've never seen the full band version because this is actually the opening track for the anime "Vlad Love".. Seek out the second video to see that. Additionally they have played rock stages before now.. They played in a UK metal festival (I believe) the year before last. They should be getting much better exposure though.

Nobody with the exception of the OG crews like Iron Maiden and Helloween who are still doing it at double the ladies age. There are other great bands Mardelas, The Warning, Band Maid and others but man watch out for The Warning over the years. 3 sisters from Mexico who are 20 18 and 16 and have 3 albums under their belts.
