With a small enough hole, could you cook an egg? It would just have to get hot enough to denature the protein. If you could do it, it might be a first for mankind.
Ah ha! I knew it! There was smoke! Yes, you could definitely cook an egg. I paused the video, but it seemed like there was some caramelization happening there. Good sign!
Running low on ideas? You know... Brake pads are pressed together. You make money making high end brake pads with ur press. I set of aftermarket Lamborghini brake pads costs 4-5 hundred dollars, and probably cost 5 bucks to make.
That was a refreshingly good sponsor segment. Felt actually genuine instead of just talking up a company because they gave you a bag of money. (raycons, shadow legends, etc.)
I'm glad I was not the only one perplexed by that. I thought the bottom was solid and uncut. I'm guessing it must have a plug in it and welded or something. I watched it a dozen times trying to see if maybe it was an obstacle illusion or ?
@@ThePandoraGuy GOD shit _damnit,_ Archer, *_WHAT?!_* 😡 **sigh** Such a good show!! 🤣 I've rewatched it SO many times that I couldn't even hazard a guess. I’ve never commented on a sponsor before, but I wish Valtavalo did the lights where I used to work - I’m rare in that I can see 240hz flicker with my bare eyes, and it cost me my job since my employer refused to believe that I’m an ADA protected class.
Straight up content thieves you mean. There have been several lately that edit out the speech, but miss the distinctive laugh of Hanna, or the shrieks of Anni on the older videos.
Having seen your videos for years but not caught one in a while now, I'm blown away by how much your set up has grown. I'm glad to see you guys being so successful. Keep crushing.
You have built the worlds most expensive edible silly string dispenser. It would be interesting to get a thermal camera and film the stream to determine how hot it truly gets.
If the nozzle isn’t flush with the bottom of the cylinder then there will be a space below which I think is causing issues with nozzle pressure and sudden explosions and leakage from the top.
Wham, wham, i think it fits now. I roared with laughter. I like the fact your bunker is rated for 308 feet per second. You are very precise in your calculations and sledgehammer blows
How many MPa are the bunker's walls? A .308 should easily punch through 100 mm of residential concrete, which can be as low as 20 MPa. Is the concrete high strength like the 50+ MPa mix used in bridges? Were any composite materials like steel or glass fiber added to the mix, besides the usual rebar? Is the rebar under tension and how is it tied into the steel corners you showed Timo welding?
Maybe look up EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining). Ultra precise type of machining where there's realistically no gap. I've seen pieces machined tgis way where two pieces fit together and you can't even tell they're separate pieces.
You could put a slightly oversized copper ring around the steel, maybe? I know it works on steel bullets to grab the rifling so maybe it would work here too not sure if you could get the piston out afterwards though 🤔
I wonder how much damage can a pressurized stream like that do, for example to cardboard, plywood, ballistic gelatin at close range... It wasn't gentle to acoustic foam.
How about extruding something flammable, such as candle wax, through an even smaller hole, such as a diesel injector, and setting fire to it with an oxyacetylene flame just outside the nozzle?

If you were to leave gummy bear napalm on the wall for "good memories" here in Arizona, you would be besieged by ants rather quickly.
same here in Eastern Washington.
Here’s to hoping it monsoons soon
I like how it shit itself at the end.
they say it's the last thing you do before you die
Damn it I was going to say this
@@factzilla1868no it's the first thing you do after you die
Can you do this again, but aim the nozzle at some ballistic gel?
Would really illustrate the power.
They did about a year ago, video called Injection Injury Demonstration...definitely wouldnt want to get near that nozzle lol
The video link using the old press. -> th-cam.com/video/mFea7RNhw2w/w-d-xo.htmlsi=NKp0EF5oBsAIq73V
I think that you should have a thermal camera as well.
Yess
They had a whole channel for that a while back. It was unpopular.
How did chocolate come out of the bottom??
I was also waiting to see what the underside looked like
It had diarrhea
There is hole for pushing tools out, if they get too stuck and it leaked. - Hanna

that's how babies are made
Now see if the sugar free gummy bears shoot out with more force. That's what the Amazon reviews I've read would indicate.
lol. Brilliant.
I swear I cut a hole from the second floor through the concrete in the basement due to this phenomenon... So... Confirmed...
Nice job washing the gummi bear goo from the acoustic thing with that soap. You should develop the idea to a hydraulic press-ure washer.
That's how you get ants!

has the metal cylinder broken in the bottom?
Yep, sheet usually comes out of crack. 😳
The next question is always......."Wipe or Crust" 😵💫
No there is a hole for pushing tools out. The pressure usually holds a "plug" of sorts in place.
I was wondering how it came out the bottom of it, with no hole there.
There is a hole. They usually use it to push the stuff back out. They cover the hole from the inside, and the pressure usually holds it in place.
Love seeing the progress you have made. New bunker, robot camera..... you have wuite the production going! keep it coming!

You have built the worlds most expensive edible silly string dispenser. It would be interesting to get a thermal camera and film the stream to determine how hot it truly gets.
You should put a painting board in front of the "shower" every time you shoot something out of the small holes. That art would be phenomenal!

Cuz that's how ya get ants. 😁

One of the laser beams fired into spinning fan blades might be really fun to capture with the high-speed camera.
I wonder if the top leak was from the cylinder flexing? Maybe it needs to be much thicker, and made from high tensile steep?
you achieved compression ignition of gummy bears.
a sentence i never thought i would write.
I love this channel so much

Is the force emitted from the hole powerful enough to cut objects like a water jet?

Machine grooves into your ram and use piston rings for seals. May be a pain to load and unload but steel rings should hold the psi
Did the taste change after the high pressure treatment?
“Gummy Bear Napalm” was the name of my Gordon Lightfoot folk-metal cover band.

Now just shoot out the gummy bear 'laser' into a block of ice.
Try carburetor jets on it for an even smaller hole

Anyone know the channel that made this? I know the Chiefs’ video was done by Hydraulic Press Channel even though there was no mention of it.
Maybe machine in ringlands and put in hardened metal piston rings just like on an engine piston.
I was thinking the same thing.
Have you ever done cornstarch
I suspect the wrapper from the chocolate bars caused the failure to extrude on that one.
It’s a good thing that the gummy bears weren’t clear 😂

Yea, memories from when I was young. 🎉😂
You could paint the replacement acoustic foam like a target for next extrusion.
