Lee only knew how love felt when he was a really little kid. Amanda knew she was loved by her parents of course and the mother love she had and got from her boys. But never the kind of love she was feeling about Lee because yes she loved Joe her first husband. It was just a very different love more like very good friends. So with this new kind of love Lee and Amanda were feeling for each other was scary since what was brewing between both of them was something very new to the. More Lee cause he had never had feelings for another person before and for Lee that was very scary. While with Amanda she never knew that she could have a love so deep for another that she was feeling for Lee. So until they finally let out that it was true love they were feeling for each other. In a way when they finally told each other they were in love with the other the Genie in the bottle had found it's way out. The Genie that wee all saw the momentum their eyes met on that train platform when they first met.

She was definitely a package deal Amanda couldn’t just leave her mother and especially her boys. Yes, she did leave the boys with her mother more and used the excuse that she had to work. Which we all know Lee and Amanda were just hiding away from each other at the apartment. Or even on weekend excursions like Pine Top getting to know each other after work. Because Amanda was making sure that when they were at work and only small shows of affections. Like peck kisses and small hugs were allowed at work even though they wanted more. At Utopia, they called that night the first started to practice their kissing. That also continued in The Eyes Have It with Lee's mandatory 5 days of bed rest. But all they did then was just kissing and taking showers because Lee's eyes were more messed up than was let on. Agency doctors don't give agents even a a day or even two days and Lee was given 5 days. Also to pay Amanda to be his private nurse to make sure he stayed in bed. That's also when they came up with their code word for when they would take their relationship to as Lee put it to the highest level adding making love. That code word was Lee telling Amanda that he loves her and hers she loves him too. How we know this is how he fought her about going on the run with him. That was until she said she loved him too because he knew he couldn't be alone on the run with his partner unless he could have all of her. What do you think about that Brooke?

When her mom was talking about Amanda and her past realationship with that guy dean. She didn’t really like that guy. Dottie said I think there is someone at work but she hasn’t said. The look on their faces I love it! they knew Dottie was speaking the truth. They made love any chance they got. Don’t you think

But, as Kate got sick the writers had to write all the episodes around Lee and put Amanda and her family in the back burner. This is so infuriating because, it is not the show to blame, she got sick. Like in Poltergeist 3, when the star got sick. They just should have reboot the show when she got better, especially from the 80s must of the show did reunions throughout the years, the bionics had 3 movies alone,so did Dr Queen etc.

I feel sorry for Kate having to go through that first round of cancer alone still showing up to work not letting anyone in on what she was going through. I'm glad they have relaxed the insurance rules cause maybe Kate would have healed fast and would have been ready for a season 5 if she would of had the love and help from her cast mates and close friends.
