About This Release:
Research Records indicate their inclination for cosmic instrumentation and kraut pervaded polyrhythms once again with an introduction to newcomer Glass Beams. Recorded at the beginning of 2020, Mirage is the first release from the artist, issuing four compositions that lend from a profusion of sounds and influences.
The album's opener and title Mirage arrives with a coiling vocal mantra that conspires with a sliding bassline and transcendent synthwork, reminiscent of early 70's prog jams yet inverted and futuristic. Taurus is a brisk arrangement, steeped with spaghetti-western elements and space-jazz to pave the way for the agile Kong. Rife with psych-fusion guitar phrases and instrumentation, Kong unfolds like a forecast lysergic voyage. The finale Rattlesnake nudges the serpent with intergalactic scales and spellbinding riffs. We may not know much about the enigmatic Glass Beams but Mirage is one epic inauguration, leaving the listener with more questions than answers.
Es María también parte 2!
Jajaja esta buena.
Very cool reminds me Indian movie and song Hare Rama Hare Krishna through initial guitar groove
A shame this song in particular isn't available on spotify anymore (at least in my region).
In my region neither 😢 MX
The tune is from old bollywood song. Maybe copyright issue.
Khruangbin vibes 🔥🔥🔥
I just listened to the "dum maro dum" song because people here mentioned it. I don't see any problem with this tune being inspired by, or even a modern rock version of that one. Not sure why these guys are being accused of "plagiarism". This song is great.
Is this why the song has been removed from spotify?
@@yosrarahman9081 I don't use spotify as my life guide.
@@yosrarahman9081 that's what I was wondering as well
This is what happens when you have a capitalist mindset towards everything in life and try to differentiate and separate every piece of creation artificially into independent intellectual properties. The fact of the matter is that the history of music, and all forms of art is based upon "theft" of other works. The idea that great pieces of music/art are completely independent and novel is erroneous in nature.
With regards to this track, I do not hear anything that has been plagiarized from "Dum Maro Dum". Just a general inspiration from elements of that track. If that's considered plagiarism, then art is truly dead in modern society.
the actual capitalist mindset is to ignore the labour of the original song composer you are sampling the most prominent guitar riff of your track from, and then try to earn revenue from it. Nobody's stopping them sampling 'Dum Maaro Dum', but they should at least acknowledge and give the dues for the original act of labour @@npvuvuzela
amazing music
3:00 sounds like the music from Kill bill
I always say that!
Perfect
dope
Love this tune, similar to kruangbin
@@jaysilverstone7221 "Maria Tambian" bones of course
❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Maria Tambien?
That's exactly what I thought! Great song though!
sounds like it came from aphrodite's child 666
Far East Family Band much?
What does that mean?
@@EsotericMindsets Band from the 70's. This tune sounds like it was taken directly from the album 'Niponjin'. This isn't a diss at the talent of Glass Beams, I was just pointing out the parallel.
actually its hindu bollywood song, from 80s . i dont remember name@@justwait...1388
dum maro dum plagiarism gang gang
I was thinking the same😅
Note quite plagiarism. Happens a lot in music. A way closer case would be Bruno Mars and Breakbot using the same tune of an older song
Sad you think this way
It's sad you would support the act of stealing someone else's labour just because you admire this band@@npvuvuzela
@@nelsonth In my view, it's sad you think that this song is "stealing" in any way shape or form. It's simply the process of musical inspiration
Oh wow this is the dum maro dum track from 1971
Да, но этот топчик🔥
exactlyy lol i was thinking the same,
Did Anyone Also Heard Dum Maro Dum (Indian Song)
