We are starting a similar journey. We are doing 31 Q Cell 405-watt panels (12.5 kWh) and 31 Enphase IQ8A Inverters. Our average consumption is 11,600 kWh (which includes our Tesla) on our 5-year-old high efficiency 2 bed/bath Villa and our new system is oversized at 14,600 kWh/yearly. We'll do batteries in 12 to 18 months. We are waiting on the new Tesla PW3 to come out, but Enphase and Franklin have some compelling new LFP batteries out today. Here in IL, we get almost $12K in SREC cash credit and a one-to-one Net Metering program. Don't forget to install a Critter Guard.

The 12K kWh is the typical size. Our system (18kWh) is bigger with the Texas heat over the summer and the construction differences in the US. The typical insulation and build quality is not quite up to @mattrisinger standards. Even with the larger system we will not see a full offset in the summer months.

Rip to the door to door and 29 other sales reps that couldn’t answer your questions or give a system with different panels haha

Brilliant 😊. Enpase seems to be great quality.

They have been good. We have had some issues with the controller, but the micros continue to produce while we work out the issues.
