A MAJOR hinderance from a serious tracking / mixing perspective which i what i mainly use my SE for. All in ALL though this is a game changer for 95% of drummers that DO NOT need this capability.
I agree with Allen. 8 outs to 4 is a big loss. It took me some 4 mths since I bought my strike pro se kit to get 100% confident in using it for live work and the 8 outs have been crucial to that for better live mixing control and for my home recording. @@thedrummercat80 have tried efnote 5 at my friends place. sounds good, but not many freedom on tweaking and no crosstalk. I would still go for the strata, but need to prepare spending close to 19K , hi hat stand, bass peddle and drum stool. the only risk now is that music shops only having it is Swee lee in bangsar and once you purchased it have to wait around 3-4 weeks shipping from Singapore.
Finally an Alesis kit that deserves respect, but most drummers won’t sound as good as J-Rod on it!
Frankly I doubt a lot of people would be able to tell a difference in sound if they weren't watching the video.
The Alesis sounds really good, and would be a great option for people who might like to switch up their sound for different songs. Similar to pedals for guitarists.
With the added benefit of being able to play in more noise sensitive environments of course.
I played this kit at guitar center a couple of weeks ago. I didn’t sound this good. 😬
One pair of sticks for a lifetime on the Alesis
Expensive cymbals to replace though for when the rubber wears through.
Hope your well ole friend !
I was just about to practice but I don’t think I’ll bother now.
Soud SO GOOD
Other electronic drums : sound is 10 yeads older than it should; finish is meh, price is whaaaaat, no good marketing.
Alesis : striking finish, superb sound, no need to promo anywhere but they do it anyway and pay our favorite content creators to demo their superior product.
First time I'm happy to see a paid promo lol
Do a Nickelback collab (or mashup at least)! All the best fellaz. Cheers.
Whats jrod playing at the start😮 i wanna learn it
reminds me of caravan
The Alesis E-kit sounds pretty good but the Acoustic kit is so much more impactful and dynamic i still think the cymbals on E-kits are a bit tingy
Compare apples to apples
My thoughts exactly. Sounds like an actual acoustic set micd up, but the cymbals like all e kits are lackluster. BUT that said and just from hearing the first kit it sounds damn good.
That thing is amazing! I almost want to drop the $ and get one. Thanks for the review!
It’s worth it bro. I just got mine in and I’m beyond happy with it.
I got it as well and it's awesome.
Definitely it is recorded fom a camera thats why pearl sounds loud
Sick
Good thing Cooper has a mic set up during the interview, so that the sound isn’t so roomy an kinda hard to understand 🤓
I want one
I am not impressed with the bras sounds. I can't tell if they are too thin in their expression or just not loud enough.
All I can say is; Game Changer 🎉
Steven slate drum software will do the trick
Dang it tracks every hit.
love Jrod's drumming. I have been following him for years. alesis is still garbage tho compared to td716, dwe, ef note, and atv.
Hilarious you don't get the same effects as an acoustic set with rubber symbols😂😂😂
I’m waiting on mine in mail while we speak
Anyone been out gigging on it?? Seriously considering buying one
For $3500 this completely a no brainer!
J-Rod!!!!!!
I think with the whole Diddy thing going on, ur buds gunna wanna change his nickname
TOP DRAW DRUMMER!
Hell yeah 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Will I go to jail if I choke the cymbal?
First of all I just wanna say I just started watching your videos a few weeks ago and think you're an awesome drummer. I've got a huge request. I wanna see you play Don't Forget Me by RHCP please.
Pearl sounds better. Nice try Alesis. Can't beat a well tuned and mixed acoustic set.
I use an alesis nitro max and it was 499 and it was worth it
This is like an info-mercial.
